Met Again

"Hey girls!" I heard Andrew shout & then we all went towards them. Jas introduced us to her friend & she greeted all of us. Her voice was so sweet. I was mesmerized & was dumbfounded even when she greeted me. I was unable to speak anything. I saw her being irritated at my attitude but I was unable to do anything. I had just become speechless. Fortunately, my face didn't show anything or else I would have become laughing stock among my friends. Others knew about my cold attitude & didn't say anything but there was something else on her mind. I could guess it. Though she was irritated but she was somewhat curious about me. I could read her face that she too was paying attention to me & I was jumping from inside with happiness.

Daisy's POV...

I was immersed in my own thoughts when I heard the bell ring. We all then hurried inside. I had to go to the Principal's office & since I didn't knew the way, Jas decided to accompany me. Our 1st class was of English. It is always my favorite even though I'm excellent in it as I get to discover more about emotions & feelings poured down by poets & authors in their writings. As we entered the class, our teacher asked me to introduce myself. I can talk freely with my friends but when it comes to speeches & introduction, I suck. I get nervous all of a sudden. Till now, my struggle for not being nervous continues.

I faced myself towards my fellow classmates & just as I was going to stutter, I saw a familiar face. I felt warmth by seeing his face especially his blue eyes & gone was my nervousness. I introduced myself fluently without any stuttering. I could then see my bestie's shocked face as she knew that I stutter at introductions. The English teacher then said me to go & sit at the only empty seat which was near the boy who made my nervousness disappear. I went near him. "Hi, we met again", he said with a greeting smile.
