Alicia's POV
“FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!” the crowd chanted, echoing through the alley. Matheo, Ethan, Ryan, Lucas, and Max stood their ground against a group of ten guys wielding knives and baseball bats.
You might be wondering, Alicia, how did you get yourself into this situation?
Five Hours Earlier
My phone rang, and it was Matheo. “Bruh, where are you? I thought we were meeting at 8:30 pm in front of the library,” I said, trying to keep the irritation out of my voice.
“Yeah, about that, Alicia, can you guys swing by my dorm instead? Something urgent came up. My bad for not calling earlier,” Matheo replied, sounding unusually stressed.
“I am literally going to kill you for making us wait, but okay, we’re on our way,” I said, hanging up.
“What did he say?” Emily asked, her curiosity piqued.
“He said there was an emergency, and we need to pass by his dorm,” I replied, rolling my eyes.
“He owes us Chick-fil-A for making us wait and dragging us to his dorm,” Emily grumbled.
“Right? I swear, sometimes I just want to smack some sense into him,” I said, shaking my head.
“Well, I hope he’s okay though,” Saraphina chimed in, her concern evident.
“Yeah, I wonder what happened,” Eva added.
“We’ll see, I guess,” Saraphina sighed.
“Wait, he said he’s in the sophomore dorms, but which one? Let me ask him,” I said, pulling out my phone to text Matheo.
In Text:
“Hey, which dorm are you in? Is it Horizon Hall, Summit House, or Apex Tower?”
“Apex Tower,” he responded.
“Guys, he said Apex Tower,” I informed them.
It took us about ten minutes to reach his dorm. When we reached the lobby, Matheo was there to sign us in. As we made our way up in the elevator, Matheo looked at us, his face etched with worry. “Thank you guys so much for coming. It’s really bad,” he said, his voice tense.
“What’s going on, Matheo?” I asked, my anxiety growing.
Matheo pov of what happened
So, my roommate Lucas has a stalker, and I had no idea about it until today. It all started when there was a knock at our door.
“I’ll get it,” I said, heading towards the door.
Standing there was a girl, looking a bit disheveled but with an intense look in her eyes. “Hi, I’m Lucas’s girlfriend,” she said with a wide smile.
My eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Oh, uh, stay here for a moment,” I stammered, closing the door slightly.
I called out to Lucas, who was in his room. “Hey, Lucas! Someone’s here for you.”
Lucas appeared, a puzzled look on his face. The moment he saw her, his expression changed to one of shock and dread. The girl immediately clung to him, her grip tight and unyielding.
“Hey, let go,” Lucas said, trying to pry her off. He glanced at me, panic in his eyes. “I tried calling security, but they thought it was a prank because of my reputation. She won’t believe me when I say I have a girlfriend. She insists on meeting her.” lucas had told me

“Which lead to the current situation “ Matheo said
Matheo sighed, realizing the gravity of the situation. “Guys, I need one of you to pretend to be his girlfriend,” Matheo plead
Emily, Saraphina, Eva, and I exchanged glances, each of us unsure of how to respond. Finally, Eva stepped forward, her face determined.
“I’ll do it,” Eva said, the moment Matheo opened the door Eva waste no time to
Step up to Lucas and wrap her arm around his waist. “Hi, I’m Eva, Lucas’s girlfriend,” she said to the girl, her voice steady and confident.
The girl’s eyes narrowed as she looked Eva up and down. “Prove it,” she said, her tone challenging.
Eva didn’t miss a beat. She leaned up and kissed Lucas on the cheek, her expression softening as she turned to face the girl again. “There, satisfied?”
The girl’s face fell, her grip on Lucas loosening. “I...I didn’t know,” she said, looking defeated. “I thought he was single.”
“Well, he’s not,” Eva said firmly, stepping closer to Lucas as if to shield him. “You need to leave.”
The girl glanced at Lucas one last time before turning and walking away, her shoulders slumped.
As soon as she was out of sight, Eva let out a deep breath, stepping away from Lucas. “That was intense,” she said, shaking her head.
“Thank you so much, Eva,” Lucas said, relief flooding his face. “I owe you one.”
“Yeah, you do,” Eva replied, smiling slightly. “But seriously, Lucas, you need to handle this. Get security involved for real next time.”
Lucas nodded, looking genuinely embarrassed. “I will. I just didn’t know what to do. Thanks again, everyone.”
“Alright, now that the drama is over, let's head out?” Emily said
As we gathered our things and headed out the door, the tension from earlier seemed to dissipate. Despite the unexpected turn of events, we were determined to make the most of the night ahead. With Emily's infectious enthusiasm leading the way, we walked down the hallway, the sound of laughter and music from neighboring rooms filling the air.
As we stepped out into the cool night air, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement bubbling inside me. Whatever challenges lay ahead. ( mind you when i said that i didnt mean literally 4 hour later)
