Chapter 13

Akaashi and Bokuto had been far from each other since that day. Neither one of them bothered to talk, it just seemed like after the incident it would be uncomfortable for them.

Akaashi was more of quite relieved knowing that they won't be seeing as much, Akaashi thought that their friendship will only last this happy in the beginning.

Just another day in Akaashi's life that he had to go to work. He didn't feel like driving today so he just took a cab.

He continued his routine and went to his office chair, Sakura wasn't present today as she had to do something due to family issues.

Everything went well just as similar when Akaashi never crossed paths with Bokuto. Sometimes Akaashi questioned himself that it wasn't really a coincidence that they've met especially in front of someone's grave like that.

Work was longer than it used to and it seemed like time was running faster as well.

Seconds had turned to hours and days turned into weeks. Every minute that could past Akaashi would always focus himself on work and nothing else, he wanted to think anything else as long as it doesn't involve Bokuto.

----------

Bokuto can't take it anymore. He wanted to see Akaashi so badly that he'd cry in a corner in his room. Skipping meals a day and missing sleep was all he could do.

Friendship matters so much to Bokuto especially their friendship with Akaashi. Bokuto finally thought "I Found You" but when he did, he lost him once again.

Bokuto blamed himself on the depart of their friendship. Having constant dreams and thought about a specific person had made Bokuto crave for Akaashi's presence.

Even Bokuto himself doesn't know why he was acting like this as all he thought was that Akaashi was just a person who thought they had a common connection. A familiar feeling between them. Bokuto was clueless how to solve this problem but was mature enough to make a move.

In the middle on the night on the day of November 30, Bokuto grabbed his phone and called a specific person he'd wished to meet regardless of the time.

At the first time Bokuto tried calling Akaashi he declined immediately. After a few hours of given time Bokuto once again called Akaashi before giving up.

The more he head his phone ring the less hope he was having, until eventually he hung up. There was really no hope for their friendship and that what's Bokuto thought.

Just when he about to throw his phone to the wall and lose his cool somebody called. He gripped his phone and leaned his head down leaving a dark shadow on his face, tears running down, he answered the phone call.

-

Akaashi went home from work and took a cigarette, smoking the night away he received a phone call. He didn't bother to pick his phone up and just left the person hanging from the other line, Akaashi got annoyed and end the call himself not knowing who the caller was.

Keiji inhaled the smoke produced by the cigarette one last time before hoping on to the bed. Akaashi had a rough day given that he had a fight with a stranger going home. He sighed in exhaustion and in no time he was fast asleep.

Dreams and nightmares were ruining Akaashi's head when he was sleeping and due to this he woke up realizing that he was panting and sweating from a nightmare.

Akaashi placed his hand onto his head relaxing and calming his nerves down before realizing that his phone was vibrating.

2 am in the morning at December 1st made Akaashi wonder who the caller was, as he was about to grab his phone and answer the call the caller declined.

"Was it urgent?" Akaashi whispered to himself. He took his phone and scrolled to his contacts looking for the recent phone call. And as he realized who it was it gave him a shiver up to his spine.

"Bokuto-san"  were the name he saw.

He thought so deeply on what could be the cause of a sudden call, Akaashi somewhat felt guilty so by trusting his instincts he called Bokuto's phone.

It took him awhile for Bokuto to answer but eventually on the 8th ring he answered.

"Bokuto-san, what do you want?" Akaashi blankly asked giving the smallest interest he could give.

"I'm sorry" Bokuto replied in between sobs.

Akaashi then realized that Bokuto was crying, he felt bad. Bokuto's voice sounded really weak, suffering, and in deep agony. Akaashi thought that it really pained Bokuto.

Just when he was about to give his reply he head a loud thump coming from Bokuto's line, at that moment he heard like Bokuto's phone fell on the floor. Akaashi thought that he tripped and accientaly dropped his phone.

But Akaashi was thought was false.

"Bokuto-san? Are you ok there?" He asked worriedly not thinking of a big deal.

Silent.

No response.

Just by that silence he received he knew that something terrible happened to Bokuto, so without any time to waste he grabbed his coat and went running outside his car.

He ran as fast as he could and drove his car on a fast pace, searching for the address of Bokuto from their past messages he finally got to the point where Bokuto sent his address.

A hint of happines got Akaashi to smile in success and as he was busy looking for that message he nearly got into a car crash, luckily he was able to turn his steering wheel on the side making his car turn as the snow was making the road slippery.

He was able to control it and immediately went back onto his tracks calling for an ambulance along with it.

"Bokuto-san, don't leave me like before" He whispered as a tear was running down his cheek.
