Chapter 10

Keiji was sleeping peacefully, it's been long since he felt the presence and comfort of someone.

Akaashi woke up on his bed in his room. He was tucked in with the blue blanket he sat up and rubbed his eyes. He took his phone and checked the time "12:23"

"F**k, I'm late for work"

Akaashi rushed and changed into his work clothes. By the time he grabbed the tie and wrapped it around his neck he smelled something. It was as if someone was cooking.

"Bokuto-san!" Akaashi exclaimed.

He nearly forgot that he didn't send Bokuto home yet so possibly he could be cooking. He came running down stairs and saw Bokuto serving food on the table.

"Huh, didn't know you can cook Bokuto-san"

"E-eh! Agaashi, sorry for touching your things without consent again"

"It's fine, you cooked this?"

"What? You think I can't cook?" Bokuto grumbled.

Akaashi scoffed and sat by the table. There was omelette and bacon on the table. Akaashi's place didn't smell empty anymore. It smelled like home.

Keiji grabbed his chopsticks and lift up the bowl of rice, he then took a bite of Bokuto's cook, and unexpectedly it was quite good.

"Before you knew nothing about cooking, and look at you now" Akaashi lightly smiled.

"Oya? Akaashi-kun~ How is it?"

"It taste fine... Bokuto-san"

"EEH? 'FINE'? You could have used something like 'delicious' or 'Tasty'" Bokuto grumbled.

"Okay fine, it taste... excellent Bokuto-san. Good job" Keiji blankly stated. But Bokuto was satisfied.

Now that Keiji thought about it he no longer cared for the time, instead he wanted to cherish this time ha had with Bokuto.

They finished eating and Bokuto offered to wash the dishes but Akaashi insisted to leave it there because he will just wash them when he gets home.

He escorted Bokuto outside and thanked him for the company.

"Anytime Apathy-kun!" Bokuto said.

Akaashi just gave him a nod and rushed to his car. He started the engine and merely fixed his hair, after a few moments his car was moving and driving off to work.

Once he had arrived Sakura was the first to confront him.

"Hey Keiji-chan, did something happen?" Sakura whispered.

"No, why? He answered.

Sakura shifted his head from left to right to see if anyone was watching him and she went in closer. Akaashi was uncomfortable so he slightly bent away.

"You were tardy today..."

Akaashi rolled his eyes and sighed, he expected a much more serious case but he was opened with a light problem.

"Can't I be late?"

"No! it's just that you were never late before, it's kinda surprising... ya know?"

He looked down and went to his office chair, Sakura just trailed Akaashi from behind. Sakura and Akaashi's seats were just beside each other.

During work Sakura kept glancing back and fourth at Akaashi as if she wanted to say something. And Of course Akaashi was the first to notice.

"Ms. Sakura, is there anything you need? You keep glancing at me time to time."

Akaashi looked at Sakura and moved his chair closer.

"What's the matter? Ms. Sakura?"

By Akaashi's movement Sakura was red, she was flustered. She exhaled and gathered some words.

"Ne... Keiji-chan, will you go out with me?"

Akaashi was surprised and his eyes were wide open, he didn't expect that Sakura would ask him first.

"Ms. Sakura I'll tell you this" Akaashi went close to Sakura's ear and whispered "Gomene, Ms. Sakura... I'm... Homosexual... "

Akaashi sat back on his chair and Sakura was in utter shock. She looked at Akaashi's eyes will little droplets of tears.

"Keiji-chan... I'm sorry... I kept asking you to go out with me even though you're not attracted to women... I didn't know..." Sakura apologized.

"It's fine, at least now you know" Keiji responded.

Akaashi offered Sakura his handkerchief and the lady used it to wipe her tears. As Akaashi signalize Sakura to keep the handkerchief, he turned his chair facing his computer and finished his work.

Sakura on the other hand placed the handkerchief that Akaashi given and placed a cheerful smile on her lips.

"What are you smiling on?" Akaashi asked.

"Oh nothing, just wondering who "This" person is." She replied.

Keiji looked at Sakura with a slight blush on his face and Sakura teased him because of it. Sakura rolled her chair closer to Keiji and grabbed his arm. Akaashi didn't mind now that she knows.

"Now Keiji-chan, describe who this person is" She bubbly asked.

Keiji just said the characteristics of this person she wanted to know, Keiji didn't mind as there are close to 0 chances they will meet.

"He's taller than me, Silver hail with black stripes stroked up, Glowing golden eyes, and a smile everyone would like to see" Akaashi described Bokuto as he sipped water on his bottle.

"Ohhhh I see... is it that person standing over there...?" Sakura pointed with her eyes.

Akaashi glanced and said "Yeah" and then he realized what Sakura just said. Due to shock he blew water out of his mouth and chocked.

Bokuto saw that Akaashi was chocking so he ran towards him.

"Akaashi-kun, What happened?" Bokuto worriedly asked.

"Bokuto-san better question, Why are you here?!" Akaashi said in between coughs.

Sakura had a cheeky smile on her lips and slowly rolled her chair away further from the two, and said something to the boy who rushed in to save Akaashi.

"Take care of Keiji, Ne? 'Bokuto-san'"
