Audora ran down the stairs hurriedly before falling into the hands of man. A Blondie with the dark blue eyes. He pulled her to himself and stroked her hair.

"My love, I missed you so much." He told her and she tightened her arms around him. It has been a while.

"Darius, is that you?" Kara asked and smiled immediately she recognized him before engulfing him in a warm embrace.

He smiled at her too then said; "Yes mother, I missed you too."

The office was oddly quiet today, Clarissa had noticed. She had later discovered that Cynthia's desk was empty and she never misses a day of work, that was unusual.

Clarissa asked, "Becky I haven't seen Thia around here. Everything is okay right?"

"Clarissa, Cynthia has been fired. You should have seen her face, it was so funny." Becky couldn't help but laugh.

"Fired? Are you serious?"

"Mr Isaiah himself fired her, something about being too inquisitive in private matters and being too pushy."

"How did you know this?" Clarissa asked and the girl rose a brow at her. She was forgetting something about this office, words go round quite fast. "But that shouldn't be enough reason to fire her."

"He's the boss, he does what he wants but If you ask me I think he did it for you." Becky wiggled her brow at her friend. "Why else would he do it, so we should celebrate, now you have Daniel all to yourself." Becky told her winking at her.

Daniel all to herself!

( flashback)

Standing by a Porsche was a guy on Nike sports wear with a white inner along with some sneakers. He checked his time for the nth time.

Where could she be?

He was suppose to pick her up and she wasn't picking up her calls.

Maybe she was busy, he tried to find a reasonable excuse why she wouldn't be where they agreed. She told him she would be done with classes by 4. After a while of waiting he started off towards the school building to look for her.

A locker shut aggressively and the girl combed her hair with her fingers in frustration. Another test ruined.

"Damn calculus!" She almost punched her locker but she held back her hand thinking of the consequences. She groaned once more before turning to leave accidentally bumping into him because he was coming right to her.

"Sorry." He said and she looked up. Daniel? her cousin's boyfriend? What was he doing here? She mentally face palmed herself thinking of how hot he was looking right now.

Stop ogling you cousin's boyfriend, her inner mind had reminded but Who cares, he's looking really good.

"I don't think Clara would be so happy seeing her cousin check her boyfriend out." He smirked at her. She rolled her eyes rather and began walking away from him. But he followed her.

"I can't find her." He simply said and she stopped.

"School closed a bit earlier and she as well as me is a hater of calculus." Clarissa told him.

"You're meaning to say, she left?!" Daniel asked in confusion.

"Yap." He thought for a while before sighing heavily. "Goodbye Daniel." She told him.

"Wait!" She turned again to look at him. "You don't have a ride home, do you?" She shook her head.

"C'mon let's go, I'll drive you home." He walked ahead of her, it took her a moment to recover from her train of thoughts before she ran after him.

Clarissa thought of many reasons why he would send for her and when she found none, She sighed.

"Come in," he said and she did.

"You called me?"

"Oh, yes I did." He said, "Sit. I'll be done in a minute."

For a while he could feel her stare on him.

"Something's bothering you? tell me." He insisted after a while. "Is there something you want to ask me?"

"Actually, I just i heard some talks from the workers and so, I just wanted to know if you relieved Thia of her work, for me?" He paused flipping of the sheets and closed it for a start. He rose a brow at her question. She was thinking he was going to shrug it off immediately but he leaned back on his chair and stared at her.

He should just clear her doubts and get on with what he called her in for.

"Actually," she froze. "Yes, do you have a problem with that?" He rather said. She opened her mouth to say something but nothing was forthcoming.

"You clearly didn't like her around me," Clarissa tried to speak but he continued, "she was against you mainly because of me and you clearly didn't deserve that. Did you even know, she said words against you?" He paused. "So it's simple, I didn't like it." He continued.

"That shouldn't be enough reason to relieve her of her job Daniel, she was just-"

"In my opinion, that is enough reason why I did what I did Rissa. You belong to me, so who ever is having a problem with you, has a problem with me, you should know that by now."

You belong to me-!

He fucking said it!- don't over think it, don't over think it!

She looked away from him immediately.

"Why did you call me here?" She asked him not sparing him another glance.

What worse could possibly happen after this!

"I just talked to dad about what happened and he didn't mind giving you a promotion. So, you're now my PA whether you like it or not."

She turned immediately to him in shock.

Personal assistant?!

What the hell is he thinking?!
