Episode 6

Louis

"So you're going to mate with him?" Josh suddenly exclaim when he came inside my office.

I quirk my brows at him, as I look up and drop the documents I've been reading. Leaning back on my chair, I removed my glasses and rub the bridge of my nose.

"I can't say anything on that matter, after all he's still a child. I know that he's my mate, and I can't imagine myself letting him go. I guess I need him, not just because he's my mate but because he completes me. And for mating him...I guess its still too early for hi---"

Loud booming laughter thunder around the room. Snapping my gaze towards Josh, I saw him crouched down, laughing like a maniac while pounding the tiled floor.

"And what's funny?!" I sneered angrily at him.

He stop laughing and jump on his feet, "You should have seen your face Lo, Oh God! Just remembering your face, when you said those words will make anyone laugh on how ridiculous you are.."

I huff, and glare at him. "You're the one who ask, I just answered seriously."

Suddenly his face become formal, as he sit down on the chair in front of my desk. "Well, I guess its nice that you finally find your mate. At least I can finally relax.."

I shrugged my shoulders at him, then a second later the voice of my secretary rang all over the room. "Mr. Lexus, Mr. Keath is already here."

Pressing the red button, "Okay let him in." I ordered.

Josh stare at me inquisitively. But I didn't say anything as I stood up and walk over the filing cabinets. Taking a brown folder, I came back on my table and sat down.

After a while the door in my office opened, revealing a man in his mid thirties wearing a navy blue polo and black slacks. Like Josh, he also has a muscled body but much shorter by a couple of inches. With long straight black hair, slim pointy nose, cold dark brown eyes and thin pale pinkish lips.

"Alpha..." He said and nod his head at me for recognition but he become rigid when he saw Josh.

I lift my brow at them, then to my surprise Josh suddenly stood up and walk out the room. Drifting my eyes back at Rey Keath, I saw him biting his nails nervously.

''Don't tell me you're having problems again?" I ask incredulously.

He sigh, and lean on his chair. ''Its his fault for being a jealous freak..''

''You know Josh right, and for Godsake Rey he is you're mate so you can't expect him not to be jealous because as werewolves, its on our nature to be possessive with our mates.''

Rey drop his gaze and start fiddling his fingers. ''Oh well, just talk with him okay. Because I called you here not to talk about your love life, here..'' I start and gave him the folder. ''I want you to find this man, as soon as possible.''

Josh

I am angry, and I have every right to. Seeing your mate flirt with another person will make anyone angry, werewolf or not.

We mated for almost a year now, but he's still the same. I don't know if he really understands our relationship. And honestly I am already at my limit. My wolf is howling sadly inside of me, feeling my pain as our mate continue brushing us off.

And even though I know I need to fight for him as what my wolf wanted me to....the human part of me already gave up.

''We need to talk..'' Rey said when he suddenly storm inside my office.

I stare blankly at him, and sigh as I motioned him to sit down.

''Then talk..'' I exclaim with a bored voice.

He begin fidgeting nervously on his sit, as an intense silence envelope us. He didn't speak nor say anything while I waited as he just sit on his chair with an awkward expression.

Sighing impatiently, I stood up and walk over the door and open it. ''I think there is nothing to say anymore, we really need to break our bond because this relationship won't work. So if you may, you can go now. I still have to work.''

His back starts trembling as he slowly stand up. I know that might hurt him, but its for the best. He doesn't love me, like I love him. He's a human and I'm a werewolf. And he will never understand how his actions always hurt me.

But I yelp in surprise when a stinging pain shoot at my left cheek as I fall on the hard floor. I saw Rey locked the door, then he turn at me, just to reveal his crying face. Tears are cascading on his beautiful cheeks, then he walk towards where I'm lying at and straddle my waist.

He start bawling, as he repeatedly pound his hands over my chest. ''You stupid wolf, I'm not gonna let you leave me. After everything I sacrificed for you! You stupid jerk, you are mine!! I won't let you leave me..'' Then he stop, and glare at me with tear filled eyes and grab the collar of my shirt. ''You need to take responsibility after letting me fall in love with you...''

A chuckle escape from me, ''So your saying that you love me?'' I ask huskily as I haul my self and grab his neck. A smug smirk start to form on my lips when I saw him flush, painting his cheeks with a beautiful shade of red.

''I already told you..'' he squeak, when I rub my other hand around his bubbly butt.

I slowly feel his ass with my hand, while I caress his neck with the other. ''But I want to hear you say it again.''

He grip my shirt as he look up at me. ''I love you...'' And then he slam his lips with mine.

Louis

Its already dark when I got home, and to my own surprise my sister Kia and Masha are in the common room, busy studying.

Huh?

Looking around the room, where books are messily scattered all over the place. And to my sister who is busy writing on a piece of paper, while Masha quietly reads a book beside her. It never crossed my mind that all of this can happen.. I'm flabbergasted, as in I'm shocked beyond my mind.

Knowing my sister, she never reads her book nor do her assignments. She always ask Darrel or Jess to do her papers especially her reports. So its totally a surprise seeing her like this.

''So what happened here?'' I ask.

Kia, look up at me and huff but didn't stand as she begin writing again.

''Lo, can you please go. We're still not done here, and as you can see we are busy..''

Sighing, I look down at her. ''I understand but I just need to talk with Masha for a while..''

Masha remained quiet but I can see him looking at me inquiringly. Kia puff out a breath and stood up. ''Ugh, okay but for just 10 minutes. And Masha, we're still not done. Don't cheat on me...''

With confused eyes, I stare at my sister's back as she walk out the room. Turning back at Masha, I saw him snickering. With raise brows I stare down at him while I cross my arms in front my chest. ''So tell me, what's that about?''

With glittering eyes, he smirk at me. ''Well, she started it. She challenge me to answer a lot of questions from those books but when I answered it all correctly, she become angry and ask for a rematch.''

''Oh, I see. Well, Kia is pretty competitive..'' I shrugged. ''Anyway, I want to tell you that I already ask someone to find your dad..''

His eyes suddenly lit up as he stand and throw his arms around me. "Thank you.." He exclaimed happily.

Having him in my arms, is something I never thought would be possible. Because of his age I'm adamant on telling him the truth about me, and who is he to me. Stilll, my heart pounds violently inside my chest and I can feel my body heating up. His scent is intoxicating and having him near me, makes my wolf crazy. Obviously he is the only one who can affect me like this.

I begin to pant as I move my hands and encircle it around his slender waist. I feel myself getting excited, as sparks start to flew around us.

I begin sniffing his intoxicating scent, and I am sure that its only a matter of time before my control totally snap.

"Hey, times up!" I've never felt happy, hearing Kia's voice.

Slowly, I pull away from him. As I looked down at Masha I see him blushing so hard while he look down at the floor, fidgeting.

So cute..

"Lo.." He whine when I lift his chin and stare down at his eyes.

"Before I forgot, I also want to tell you that all your papers are done, and I already submitted it to Silver Crest Academy, for finally enrolling you.. But still you have to get a check up first, for medical assurances.."

"Check up?" Masha suddenly frown at me.

"Brother its enough already, you can talk about it tomorrow.." Kia whine, as she start pushing me.

"Geez, I got it.. I got it.. Just be ready at 8 am tomorrow.." I yell out to Masha, before Kia finally kick me out and closed the door.

Ugh.. seriously??

Morning comes, and I am pretty excited. I even cooked breakfast for all of us and wear my best clothes.

God, I'm like a teenager.

I snap my head at the door when I feel someone walk in, a grin form on my lips when I saw Masha came in.

He is beyond sexy, wearing the gray skinny jeans that I bought him with a black fitting long sleeve buttoned shirt.

I don't know why he likes long sleeves because to be honest its quite hot outside. But I guess I can't say anything to his choice of clothes.

"Morning.." I chirp happily.

"Morning.."

We eat peacefully, and because its Saturday I know that my brothers and sisters won't be coming down until noon.

So at least we can have our peace now.

After eating, I coaxed him outside and let him in my car and drove towards my own hospital. Its situated near our place, because honestly speaking its the pack's private hospital where we treat the members when some of us got hurt.

Knowing that we need to hide our existence from any humans, its much better for us that we have our own hospital in case of emergencies.

"We're here.."

Masha is unbelievably silent. He never said anything, ever since we get out of the house. And I'm worried about him.

"So he's the one eh.." Chris, Josh younger brother exclaim when we came in.

"Yeah, well Chris I already told you what has to be done so let's go.." I state, as I hold Masha's hand and tug him with me.

He's hand is cold and sweating, he might be feeling nervous. Actually, I also don't like hospitals so I understand his anxiousness.

Thankfully, I can be with him. He is my mate after all and I don't want others to look at him without my permission.

Coming in an empty room, Chris let me sat down in a couch as he help Masha and led him in a chair.

Leaning back, I stare at them as Chris starts asking Masha some questions which he answered timidly. I chuckle to myself when Masha starts fidgeting uncontrollably, and quite frankly I think he's cute, looking like this.

But my breathing hitch when Chris ask him to remove his shirt, and seeing Masha looked at me as if asking for help stir something within me.

Standing up, I walk over at them. ''Its fine Masha, I'm here...'' I murmur, while I rub his back. ''Chris just need to thoroughly check up your body.''

He starts shaking and drop his gaze and nod slowly. With trembling hands he slowly pull his shirt over his head.

I gasp out loud, and even Chris. Its unimaginable. When Masha's naked body revealed something I never thought possible.

''Chris get out!'' I growled.

''But Alpha...''

''I said get out!!!'' My voice thunder, making the whole place shake from the force of my voice. Then, I locked the door when Chris finally get out. Whirling around, I start trembling as I hobble towards my mate.

Tears slowly fall from my eyes, completely soaking my cheeks. And with shaking hands I slowly brought my hand on his back. A sob escape from me when my hands felt the ragged skin on his back. Ugly scars are painted all over his flesh up to his arms. They are uneven, like he was cut with a jagged knife, marring his skin. Destroying his beauty. And scarring him for all eternity.

My body shook, and I begun to hiccup when I thought the horror that he has gone through. Its so inhumane... and he doesn't deserve it!

Suddenly, I heard someone knocking at the door. "Louis please open the door.." My mother, worried voice called out. And surprisingly I even heard my siblings voice as they yelled at me and demand to open the door.

But I didn't pay them any attention as I slowly turn Masha, but my breathing hitch when I saw the burned scars all over his chest. And to my horror Masha's eyes are lifeless as he look at me.

His once beautiful eyes that full of life is empty, as if he's soul had been suck out from his body. Letting him become a soulless doll.

What happened to you?? My poor little Masha!

I felt pathetic, remembering what happened to me. Seeing my mate's scarred body I know that the horror that he had experienced is far more worse than what happened to me.

"Why are you crying??" He suddenly ask, snapping my eyes at his. Then I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw he's eyes were back to normal. "Are you having trouble again?"

I just shook my head, as I put my trembling hands all over his body as if protecting him.

"Ah, I see. You've seen my scars eh.. I really didn't want you to see, because as you can see its very ugly.. I'm ugly.." He said in a monotone voice, as if he's scars is nothing. Like he's not hurting..

Pulling away a little, I look straightly in his eyes. Bringing my right hand on his chest I slowly trace his burnt skin with my fingers.

"You might see it us ugly, but for me its beautiful... Masha each of this scars tell a story, and I know its not easy for you to trust someone you've just met like me. But I hope the time will come that you can accept me and tell me everything..."

Masha's eyes glistened as he look at me, but he didn't shed any tears. As he gave me a small smile and brush my cheeks, wiping my tears away.

"So you're crying for me... If so then thank you Lo, I'm really lucky that I met you."

Seeing him in my arms, looking at me like I've gave him the moon filled me with so much happiness..

But suddenly we were snap out of it when we heard a loud creaking noise, and then to my horror the door slowly starts breaking as it completely shatters.

My mother's angry face is the first I saw, and I almost peed on my pants when I look at her angry filled eyes.

Gulp...
