Episode 7

Aimscious spent the whole night awake , calling and texting Lilia but no answer or reply .She was so worried about Li.

Her eyes were bloating out with tears. Her mind , consumed with thoughts and scenes from what transpired between Mart and Lilia in school today. She was so shut within. She thought to herself ,

How can I face both of them at school tomorrow.

She was so lost in her thought that she didn't know when she fell asleep.

Li, please ,don't go! , you can't leave me all alone in this dark tunnel with these scary people. Please save me

Lilia pushes Aimscious down, starring at her with so much evil in her eyes.

She did not understand the look on Lilia's face

Why are you looking at me like this Li....., Pls

help me....., crying

Kill her... ,

she orders the men holding Aimscious.

I don't want to see her ever in my life.

You took what belongs to me, Aims and I won't forgive you for that.

She turned, leaving Aims in the tunnel to her faith with the masked men. She screamed , watching her disappear into the darkness

Li, please......, crying

Its not what you think. Li........

Aimscious woke up, with a sweaty, pale face,weak and startled , crying.

It was already day break. She sighed

hmmmm , thank God, its just another nightmare

but will Lilia go that far with this issue?

I've got to talk to her about what happened.

What if she doesn't believe me? she queried herself.

No, I know Li will believe me.

Aimscious ! , are you done? We are getting late for school. The bus will soon be here. Betty called.

Almost! , I will be down soon....

She rushed to the bathroom , had a cold shower and joined the others downstairs for breakfast. After a while, the bus arrived and they left.

SCHOOL PREMISES

She got off the bus happily expecting to meet Lilia as usual but to her surprise, she wasn't waiting at the gate as she used to. She couldn't believe it.

Is this really happening? she thought.

She went searching for her in the entire school but did not find her. Aimscious became so depressed that she didn't know what else to do

Where could she be? Oh gosh

Li please be safe, she sighed

Then she heard the bell. She walked to the class so lost in mind . She was zooming out of space that she didn't hear Mart calling her from behind.

Hey , Aimscious , have been calling you like forever.

Why what is wrong with you? Why are you so lost in thoughts?

Aimscious: hi, Mart, you startled me. Am fine but have you seen Lilia ? I've been looking for her throughout the entire campus.

Mart: yeah, she is already in class. Let get in before our teacher comes in.

But hey, what happened yesterday, I didn't see you anymore when we got to the volley court .

Aimscious: oh, ...mmm, yeah, there was an emergency so I had to rush out, sorry for that.

She quickly went in and settled without waiting for him to say anything further. She saw Li who was already in her desk.

Is she ignoring me? She thought to herself.

She waited patiently for lunch break so she can approach Lilia for them to address the issue. She sat in class absent mindedly. All she heard is the sound of the bell .

She immediately turn searching for Lilia but she was no where to be found. She was stunned,

What? where did she go?

She quickly left to the canteen to look for her. Luckily enough, she found Lilia over there. She was delighted to meet her there.

Aimscious run and hugged Lilia, crying

You don't know how happy I am to meet you here.

Lilia angrily: what do you want Aimscious?

Just leave me alone...she shouts

I don't want to see you, leave .... me ... alone...., crying.

Sob, Sob , Sob.

She hugged her so tight that she didn't want to let go,

Can't leave you like this, Li....

I know how you feel now. Don't let this cause the diminish of the friendship we've built for so long.
