'I swear I heard him right, but couldn't I have heard him wrong?' Jade looked at him trying to respond, but she was out of words.

Instead of pressing on matters, he sighed. " Come let's go."

Jade nodded her head. She went to his car not saying anything because she felt like she didn't want to let things go any further than they have.

"Thanks again for the date-" Ben interrupted Jade by chuckling.

She looked at him questioning.

"Who said it was a dating princess, yet again who said it wasn't?"

Jade looked at him, and scowled, glaring her eyes at him. He started his car, and they started to head to Jade's house leaving the beautiful forest behind.

'That inconsiderate jerk! Just when I thought I was starting to like my victim. Oh well, if I think about it he is right.

Whoever did say this was supposed to be a date. It's not that I like him, I don't in fact, he is stubborn, cold, jerk, and a conceited asshole!'

"Well, that was rude, and to think I took time out of my day to impress you. I think I am a pretty good looking stubborn, cold, jerk, and conceited ass hole. In fact, I am such a jerk that I tried to make you feel better. My bad!"

Jade looked at him shocked.

'had I said that out loud?! Shit, I didn't mean to, what do I say, or do now?'

"Ben, I am sorry that was ungrateful of me. I didn't mean that. I-"

Ben laughed causing Jade to stop apologizing thinking she had messed things up between them.

Ben smirked. He took his eye off the road when he was at the red light to look at Jade's facial expression.

"It's okay princess I was only joking. Also, you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all. That was funny, your reaction!"

Ben laughed having his little kid moment. Jade's mouth dropped.

She didn't know how to feel. " You are such a-"

"Awesome person that you can't stop drooling over my sexy body. Yeah, I know." He smirked at Jade playfully.

"Your gonna regret that! You just wait, and plus you're not even that attractive. My goldfish is more attractive than you!''

Jade huffed which caused Ben to laugh like usual. The rest of the ride was quiet.

They went past rodes and streets. At least that was what Jade could remember. Soon she drifted off asleep resting her head on the car door.

Not knowing how much time had passed she felt the car stop and woke up.

"Here we are home sweet home." Jade rolled her eyes at his comment. They got out of the car and headed into the house.

Once they got inside Kayla was nowhere to be found in the living room, nor kitchen.

"Maybe she is asleep already."

Jade looked at Ben and smiled.

"Maybe." Ben shrugged.

They stood there in silence. " Well, goodnight Ben."

Jade tried to make her way past the couch only to be dragged back into a chest.

' What in heaven's name is he doing? What if his sister sees?'

Jade could feel Ben's breath on her neck. She could also feel his grip on her tighten, but soon let her go.

Jade couldn't help but blush at his simple gesture. "Goodnight princess."

With that, they went separate ways.

Jade went into the kitchen, and Ben went to his room.

She pours herself a glass of water then heads upstairs into her bedroom. She finds that Kayla is sound asleep.

Jade goes in her closet to pick a pair of PJ. She went into the bathroom to go take a quick shower.

Ugh, why did I let it continue this far? It just isn't right. Along with the drama. You know what I am just gonna take a shower, and not think about it anymore.

Soon, Jade got out of the shower continuing to hum Turn off the lights.

She brushes her teeth, brushes her hair, and then heads to bed.

"I will let Kayla have the bed. I need alone time tonight." Jade mumbled to herself and made her way to the living room.

She laid on the sofa falling asleep. She realized that she didn't have any covers, yet she was too comfortable to move.

She drifted off to sleep. She felt she was floating in the air. The air was cold but soon became warm like a cover.

She cuddled in the warmness when she finally realized it felt like a human body.

Suddenly she was wide awake. She tried to control her breathing but failed.

"Shhh, princess it's me your fine go back to sleep."

'Oh, it's just Ben. It's not like it could hurt to go to sleep. Maybe I'm even safe.'
