Episode 7

One year later

The amnesty had been going on for the last year. Ashleigh and Phoenix were still together, yet never apart. She had grown very weary over the past year through his torture, her pain. Kieran had seen much blood shed as they caught up with many of the gang’s members. Kieran had begun college and was doing his business degree just like Ashleigh said he would. Ashleigh hadn’t saw candies in the last year and was beginning to think she never would. Kieran and Kelley lived between home, and the hut, keeping their heads low. The time had come for the biggest fight of them all.

‘So we set Ke?’

‘Yeah.’ He said slipping Phoenix the note.

Which he quickly slipped into his pocket. ‘Right time to get the girls to decide.’

‘They won’t like it.’

‘They’ve got no choice.’

‘Stay here Ke.’

The crew followed Phoenix into a room on the right which Kelley was in.

Kelley looked at them. ‘What’s wrong?’

‘It’s time Kelley.’

‘What for?’

‘Scorpion.’

‘NO!’

Phoenix pushed her up against the wall. ‘What did I say?’

‘You don’t know what he’s capable of.’

‘Believe me when I say I do.’

'No!’

Phoenix pulled out a knife gliding its edge down her legs, tears formed in her eyes. ‘What do you say? Or do you want more?’

‘Okay.’

‘Good girl.’

He kissed her check.’

‘Come on guys.’

They walked out of the room. ‘Follow us Ke see what your sister has to say.’

‘So Kelley said yes?’

‘She did.’

He followed Phoenix and the crew down the stairs to the room where Ashleigh was. ‘Well Ash its time.’

‘No Phoenix. This one you can do on your own.’

‘We need you you know that.’

‘I can’t.’

He grabbed her wrists. ‘Well are you going to help us?’

‘No.’

Phoenix tied Ashleigh’s wrists together. ‘Pull her up.’

They pulled her up tying the rope to a pipe. Her feet hanging inches from the floor.

‘Well what’s it going to be?’

‘No.’

Phoenix looked at her. ‘Wrong answer.’ He pulled out the knife.’

‘Don’t Phe.’

‘Why ever not?’

‘You’re not your father.’

‘No, I’m worse.’ He looked at Ashleigh. ‘What do you say Ash? Are you in?’

‘No.’

He raised the knife.

‘No Phe she’s been through enough.’

‘She hasn’t been through enough.’

‘Don’t Phe.’

He ignored Kieran’s plea. Looking at Ashleigh. ‘Maybe this will change your mind.’

He slashed her body, she screamed, yet no tears she shed. ‘Go out the room guys.’

‘But.’

‘NOW! Go to Kelley Kieran.’

Kieran looked at Ashleigh helplessly as her left the room closing the door behind them.

Phoenix slipped the knife into his pocket. He placed his hands on her face. ‘I love you you know.’

She hung shaking.

‘Aren’t you going to say you love me too?’

‘I love you.’

He leaned forward placing his lips on hers kissing her, her lips trembled as he kissed her harder and harder.

He pulled away. ‘So you in?’

She smiled.

‘Cool.’

He untied her, she dropped into his arms. He opened the door, and led her out closing the door behind them. They walked up the stairs going into the bedroom. He lay her on the bed, looking down in her, gliding his hand down her face. ‘I love you Ash, if we work together we’ll be okay.’

He placed his lips on hers kissing her he guided her skirt up her legs slipping inside her making love to her.

He pulled away lying besides her.

‘You girls ready?’

‘I guess.’

‘Kelley?’

‘You’re truly fucked in the head. They’ll eat you for breakfast.’

‘All I asked if you were ready?’

‘Yes.’

‘Good. Let’s go.’

He quickly kissed Ashleigh, he looked at Kelley. ‘No fuck ups.’

‘Sure. Come on Keeley.’

They walked away cautiously.

‘This isn’t such a good idea.’

‘I know. He seriously has no idea what these guys are like.’

‘Well wellwell, if it isn’t little Kelley Granger, to what do I owe this pleasure?’ a male said walking towards her fully tattooed, a scorpion rapped round his neck the sting on his face.

‘Scorpion.’ She swallowed.

Ashleigh looked at Kelley. ‘You know him?’

‘We go back don’t we Kelley?’

‘Yeah.’

He placed his hands on her face. ‘You got prettier in the last few year

‘This one is too.’ A male said, a snake tattoo spiralling round his arm and face, grabbing Ashleigh.

‘Calm Snakes.’ He looked back at Kelley. ‘So what do I owe this pleasure? Or have you come back for more?’

‘I.’

He placed his lips on hers kissing her, slipping his tongue in.

He moved away. ‘You’ve still got it babe.’

She looked at him her hair blowing over her face. ‘What’s wrong Kelley? You look a little agitated.’

‘I. Well we need your help.’

‘How?’

‘Johnson mean any thing to you?’

‘Johnson, Johnson. Sorry no.’

‘Well it should.’ Phoenix said placing a knife to his throat.

The crew slashed through the rest of the gang.

‘Oh you.’

‘Yes me now loose her.’

‘Did you know your defence is my ex?’

Kieran pulled Kelley away plunging a knife into him. Phoenix slashed his throat. ‘Guess you won’t be fucking her again!’

‘PHE!’

Phoenix looked over Snakes looked at him with a knife to Ashleigh’s a knife throat. ‘Any closer and I swear I’ll kill her!’

Coeb sliced through his throat with the blade of his knife. ‘Not in this life time.’

The body dropped to the ground with the knife predominately standing in it.

The blood and the dead bodies lay across the ground.

‘Thanks.’

‘No probs.’ He said placing his arm round Ashleigh.

‘Come on guys.’

They all walked over to Phoenix, Coeb dropped his arm from round Ashleigh.

‘Cheers Coeb.’

‘No probs.’

He grabbed Ashleigh’s hand and they all walked away.

‘Why didn’t you say that you knew him?’

‘How could I? You saw him.’

‘You slept with him?’

‘Once. It was a mistake. I was with him for very little time, but in that time I knew everything. How he worked, going in there was a really bad idea.’

‘No it wasn’t now they’ll never bother us again. There’s none of them left they were all dead before we got to you.’

‘You’ve got no idea Phoenix he’s not stupid he would’ve saw straight through us, he nearly did.’

‘Shit.’

Phoenix closed the door behind them. ‘Right guys we’ll see you in the morning.’

‘Sure.’

Phoenix led Ashleigh into the bedroom closing the door behind them. ‘Look I’m sorry. I had no chance of getting to you.’

‘Lucky Coeb did then wasn’t it?!’

‘Do you have a thing for him?’

‘No.’

‘You looked pretty close.’

‘He was only making sure I was okay. More than I can say for you!’

His hand flew across the air hitting hers, cutting her lip. Her hair flew across her face. She looked at him blank.
