The silence on the table is very suffocating. Reinne wanted to break the ice but held her tongue instead. Grace glance at her daughter, who is quiet and calm while sitting across of her. It scares her when she can't read what's on her mind and how calm she is over serious matters like this.

"So, what are you going to do?" Reinne snap her attention to her aunt Emy, who broke the silence.

She shrug, like its the most obvious thing to do. "Basically, I have to accept it. There is no other choice."

"You don't have to," Her uncle said. "You don't have to burden yourself with it."

She turn to them and speak with a cold voice. "And let your brothers handle grandpa's company? No, I refuse to do that. This is only thing we have left of grandpa's and your giving it away?"

"Ivy..." Her mother reached for her arm but she move away. She's not backing down.

"No," she stared to loose her edge and on the verge of exploding in front of her family. "I'm not just gonna sit here and watch them laugh at our faces again. Eight years, I held my mouth shut. Eight freaking years, I let them walk on us like we are trash. Even during grandma's burial they insulted you in front of many people and to think those people you called brothers kicked us out of that horrible place they called a house."

"Let bygones be bygones, Ivy," her mother said, in her usual soft tone and it pissed her off. "Anger won't help at all."

"Really, ma?" She scoff. "No wonder why they easily abuse you. You let them walk over you!"

"Iveanna!" Her father warned her. She would immediately back down whenever her father called out her full name but not today.

She stood up. "No, listen to me, for once. Half of this company was owned by grandpa. It was a gift from a friend. A debt that needs to be paid. If this company will be inherited by any of your brother, I just hope grandpa's friend won't visit us in our sleep when it bankrupt."

"But, Ivy," her mother tried to reason out. "We already have the farm, your brothers are working already all thanks to you. For once, think about yourself."

"I'm thinking about myself right now, Ma," She sigh. "My decision is final. The reason I told you this was because I don't want to hide anything from you."

She watch her family sigh in defeat. They know she's right and when she got her mind on something nothing can change it. She grab the papers and head to her room. She grab her trolley and stuff her clothes in.

"Are you sure of your decision?"

She look up to see her brother leaning by the door. "You were listening?"

"Its hard not to," he shrug and made himself comfortable in her bed. "You were talking in loud voices. Almost yelling."

She nod. "Are you telling me not to do this also? Cause if you are, get out."

"Nope. I know you can do it. Just don't over do yourself again."

She nods. "I know. Now, leave. I have to pack."

After her brother leave, she grab her phone and dialed her ex boss's number. "Kurt."

"Kurt, its Reinne."

"Reinne? Is there something wrong?"

"None. Its just that - about the papers you gave me." She sat on her bean bag and stare at the papers on top of her table. It was hunting her. She want to rip them apart and pretend that it never existed.

"I believe you have read it already?"

"Yeah," Kurt can hear the dilemma in her voice. "I have a lot of questions regarding the transfer."

"Very well then," Kurt let out a relief sigh. "We are still in town. We could met up tomorrow and talk it over on lunch?"

"Sure." There was a moment of pause. "Actually, we can have lunch here at our farm, if that is okay with you?"

"Very well. We will be there," Kurt drop the call and called his son to come over to his room. He stood up and glance at his hotel room window.

"What's wrong?" Hayden asked his father.

Kurt turn to see his son standing at the door frame of his room. "You are going to Reinne's farm tomorrow for lunch."

Reinne? Hayden took a second to process the name. Right. Miss Lacson. "Is she going to accept it?"

"She has some questions regarding the will," Kurt said. "I'll be going to London tomorrow morning. Your mom has been nagging me since I left."

"You want me to have lunch with her alone?" Not that he minded it.

Kurt nodded. "She has some questions and I know you can answer those."

Hayden nod and went back to his room. He didn't know all of this until his grandfather died. His grandfather asked him to search for his friend's family saying about paying a debt. He didn't know what is his grandfather's debt. Hayden pace around his room before composing a message.

Hayden: you will accept the position?

Right after he sent the message a reply came after.

Reinne: what choice do I have?

Hayden: you can back out.

Reinne: that wasn't in my list of choices.

Hayden: then what are your choices?

Reinne: one, accept. Two, accept. And three, same as one and two.

Hayden chuckled with her reply. He shrug before hitting reply.

Hayden: see you tomorrow then.

Reinne: wait.

Reinne cringed at her reply. She sound like she's texting with her crush and not her boss. Close enough though.

Reinne: is it okay with you?

Hayden: the what?

Reinne: this whole arrangement

Hayden: we'll talk about this tomorrow.

Reinne: right. Good night.

Reinne threw her phone on the bed not bothering to wait for his reply. She let out a loud sigh. This whole thing is draining all the energy that she has. She refuse to have her family being walked on again that's why she accepted the will even though she didn't want to and the moment she sign those papers, a lot of things will change. Her becoming a billionaire is one of them.
