Episode 11

I looked at Liam as if he was crazy. Was he seriously thinking that I could jump that high?! What is he? High? The hell?! I was not about to break my neck by jumping. No way. I'm not doing that.

I watched Liam walked to the left side of the balcony. He looked down. Then, he looked over at me and motioned for me to follow him. Oh God, he's serious. He wanted me to jump.

"I'm not jumping!"I whispered yelled at him. He smirked. Suddenly I heard the door being knocked loudly and someone was calling out Liam's name. Liam quickly pulled my hand and I felt fear shot up in my heart.

"What the hell, Liam?! I'm not jumping, you crazy ass!" I whispered yelled at Liam who was smiling deviously. He looked at me and jumped, tugging me forward by the hand. I screamed and shut my eyes. But nothing happened. I heard a chuckle and opened my eyes.

Liam was looking at me in amusement and standing on a step. Wait, there're stairs by his balcony. A narrow, winding wrought iron staircase. I felt myself coloured.

"You're so cute when you're over-dramatic." Liam said with a chuckle as he went down the staircase, pulling a very red-faced me along with him.

I kept quiet and just meekly followed him down the stairs. When we reached the ground, I kept my head low as I shuffled behind Liam. I ignored the people staring at us. I caught sight of Madison and co. She was openly staring with a look of grim determination on her face. I ignored her.

Liam went to his mum and kissed her as she hugged him. She totally understood him. She smiled somewhat morosely as she patted his cheek. He kissed her hand and mouthed bye and I love you. His mom looked at me and smiled. I nodded at her and scurried out the den to Liam's bike. We hopped on the bike and sped off.

Before long, we reached the campus. I hopped off the bike and took off my helmet. I gotta say, I'm getting the hang of getting on and off the bike without embarrassing myself too much. Which is a good thing.

"Well, what are you up to now?" Liam asked as he took off his helmet.

"I guess I should go back to my room. Got classes tomorrow." I said as I gave Liam his duffle bag. He took it from me.

"Well, thanx for helping me out today. And I'm sorry you had to go through ..well...that. I'll make it up to you. I owe you one." Liam said as he stood in front of me.

"Nah, I had fun. Your mum's really nice. I like her. You're a lot like her. Seriously. You're a nice guy." I said as I adjusted my top.

"Really? That's good to know. Come on, I'll walk you back to your dorm." Liam said as he stepped up beside me.

"Oh, no, you don't have to do that. It's okay. I could go by myself. It's not that far. " I assured him, not wanting to trouble him.

"I want to, come on. Maybe I don't want to let you go home just yet. You're a good company. I like hanging out with you. So, you letting me walk you back to your dorm means you're actually doing me a favour." Liam said as he smiled and shrugged. Argh, he's so adorable!

"Fine. Come on, walk me back! Wouldn't want to disappoint my fan!" I said and Liam chuckled. He fell into step beside me. We walked and talked about random stuff. Just then, someone called my name. I looked up and saw Trey running towards us.

"Hey, Hannah! What are you doing here?" Trey asked as he stood in front of me, all gorgeous and a little breathless.

" Hey, Trey. I just got back. What about you, what are you doing at my dorm?" I asked, mystified. Liam was silent beside me.

"Oh, just thought you want to hang out." Trey said with a shrug. He glanced at Liam and gave a nod. Liam smiled a little.

"Um, Hannah..I'm gonna go. You have fun with Trey.. Later." Liam said with a smile and walked off. Then he was gone before I said anything else. I turned to Trey who smiled and took my hand.

"Come on, I'm hungry." Trey tugged at my hand and I followed him to his truck. Not that I have much choice. But still I was so excited! I'm out with Trey! Alone! It's almost like a date!

So, we're at this diner. Trey ordered the burger, fries and coke while I ordered the pecan pie and coffee. We talked about random things until Trey cleared his throat and looked at me.

"Hey, Hannah. Um, is there like something going on between you and Liam?" Trey asked suddenly. I looked up from my coffee and looked at Trey. He looked casual, but he was drumming his fingers on the table, a sure sign that he was nervous.

"Why are you asking?" I asked as I looked at him. He just shrugged, another of his nervous habit.

"Just curious. I mean, I think you guys hung out a lot lately. You know, I mean, is he a nice guy? He may be my roommate, but I hardly know the guy." Trey said and speared a fry into his mouth. I looked at Trey. What was he on about?

"So, why are you asking me this?" I asked curiously.

"Look, you're kinda like my best girl friend. I don't want you to get hurt. Just be careful, is all." Trey explained. I furrowed my brows.

"Okaaayy... " I looked at Trey and smiled. I'm his best girl friend! Yeay!.. Wait, did I just get friend-zoned... Again?!

The next morning, I dragged myself out of bed. Trey kept me out until after midnight. He made me play pool until I couldn't stand anymore. When he dropped me off, he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek! Eeekk!!! Then he gave my hand a squeeze and said good night while reminding me about being careful with Liam. I got up to my room with mixed feelings. Trey was confusing. One minute he's pushing me into the friend-zone, and another minute he's all kissy and touchy feely. I wish he would just be upfront about his feelings about me. Well, if he has any that is..

"Hey, Hannah! Wait up!" Dan called me and I gave him a smile. He hugged me and we walked together to class.

The class was filling up fast when we arrived. It's a core subject, so everybody has to take it to make the credit. So, it would always be full to the brim. Then, I heard Amy calling me, as usual. She had a few seats reserved. And she was barely hanging onto them as crowds if students started filling the huge lecture hall fast. Dan and I rushed towards Amy. Ryan was already there, talking to some gorgeous Asian chick. And Liam was already sitting at the ither end, fiddling with his phone. As if sensing my presence, he looked up and gave a dazzling smile. Whoah, he's wearing glasses today!! So smexy!!

I went to sit beside him while Amy and Dan were giggling over something on Dan's phone. There was another empty seat beside me for Trey. He was late. Just then the lecturer came in. At that exact moment, a bagpack landed on the desk beside mine with a thud, making me jump a little. Trey suddenly appeared with a grin and plopped beside me.

"Hey," He said and then leaned back in his seat with one arm around my chair. Hmm..weird.

"Hey Trey," I said as I glanced at him with a smile. He smiled back and patted my back. Ok, he patted my back!? Why?! I looked at him like he grew two heads. I was about to ask him if something's up, but when the lecturer started his lecture, I decided to just drop it. I paid attention to the lecture.

After a few minutes, I felt Trey leaned nearer to me that our arms touched, squished together..*squeal*.

"Hey, babe. Can you spare me a pen? Forgot to bring mine." Trey whispered in my ear, his lips touching my ears ever so slightly. I felt tingles run up my spine. With numb fingers, I grasped a black ball pen and handed it to him. Trey took it from my hand and smiled.

"Thanx babe." Trey said as he leaned against my arm, like totally leaning on me! I sat there, almost hyperventilating. Liam saw me and raised his eyebrows in question. I pointed towards Trey getting comfy leaning against my arm. Liam nodded understandably and chuckled.

"So, that's a good rhing, right?" He whispered.

"I guess so." It's a good thing. Right?!
