Episode 7

I woke up with a start. The glare from the sun bothered me. I sat up and looked over at Amy. She was sprawled on her bed, her long hair fanning the pillow. She was clearly still asleep, judging from the soft snoring that came from her partially opened mouth.

I tried to remember what had happened. I remember Trey making out with gorgeous girls, Truth or Dare, Liam kissing me..wait, what?! I sat up straight on my bed and suddenly realized that Liam kissed me last night. I touched my lips and suddenly I remembered how it felt like when he kissed me. A shiver went down my spine. The kiss was delicious...shit! I put my face in my hands and groaned when I remembered Trey's face when Liam kissed me. He did not look happy at all.

I looked at the time and groaned. It was almost noon. I dragged myself out of bed and staggered to get a shower.

When I've looked halfway human, I checked my phone. No messages from Trey. I sighed. I wonder what happened to him. He disappeared after Liam kissed me. Was he affected by that? If he's affected by it, it means he might have some kind of feelings for me. Err, right? Urgh, I'm so confused!

I took my bag and went out. I need some air. And food. I went to a nearby cafe and ordered brunch. As I ate my eggs Benedict I looked over my notes. Because I am a boring person without the guys, I decided to go to the library to complete my assignments and study. Plus, I was not in the mood for shopping. Mid term's coming and I had a lot of stuff to catch up on if I want to remain the top of my class.

"Hey Hannah," I looked up and saw Liam standing by my table. He was smiling and he had a bagpack.

"Hi, what are you doing here?" I was a little surprised to see him there. He just sat opposite of me and sighed with a smile on his face.

"Well, I'm getting brunch and then going to the library. Got plenty of assignments and studying to do. You?" He asked as he called a server over.

I looked at him as her ordered his food. Ok, I wasn't expecting that answer. He hardly looked like a nerd.

"Seriously? You are spending a Saturday afternoon in a musty library?" I asked incredulously.

"Why, I don't look like I'm smart at all? Well, ok, I'm not a genius or anything. I just want to maintain my grades, that's all. I have to if I want to keep my basketball scholarship." Liam explained as he leaned back and looked at me.

"Oh, ok. Actually, I'm going there myself." I said.

"Then, we'll go together. I'll drive you," Liam said and then dug into his pancakes and bacon.

Crap! Crap, crap, crap! I swallowed hard and eyed the huge superbike. Ain't no way I'm riding on that!

"Here, let me help you," Liam said as he helped me buckle the full-faced helmet. He was wearing one, too. After he was done, he got on the bike and started the engine. Looking at him perched on the superbike was totally hot. He looked like sex on wheels. He looked behind him and motioned for me to get on the bike. I gulped and shook my head. Now, how the hell would I do that? I was worried I might break the bike if I put my huge weight on it. Now that woud be embarrssing. Or I might look like a bear in a circus. You know, the huge bear that rides the tiny bicycle. Yeah, that one.

"Come on, hop on. It's okay," Liam said over the roar of the engine. I stood still, fidgeting with my hands. Exasperated, Liam turned off the engine and got off the bike. He went to me and opened his visor. He then opened mine as well. I saw his nose and eyes, looking at me.

"Look,it's safe Hannah. You have nothing to worry about. Really. I'm an excellent driver." Liam assured me as he looked pleadingly at me. I stared at him, not sure if I trust him. He sighed and looked straight into my eyes.

"Hannah, I swear to you I never let anything bad happen to you, ok? You can trust me, ok?" Liam said slowly, putting his hands on my shoulders and reassuring me. I sighed and shook myself. I'm being a big baby. I knew that. I took a deep breath and decided to trust Liam. I nodded slowly at Liam. He smiled and got on the bike. He started it and waited for me to climb on.

With shaking legs, I got on the bike. it was pretty high. I straddled the beast and gingerly held onto Liam's jacket.

"Come closer Hannah. Here, put your arms around me." Liam said as he reached behind him and put my arms around his waist. I clasped my hands together as the engine revved and Liam started driving. The impact pushed me forward that my chest hit Liam's back and stayed there. I had to lean forward that my chin was on Liam's shoulder and I was gripping his waist for dear life. Liam drove along the streets on campus. I closed my eyes the entire time. Please God, don't make me break this bike. I was more concerned about breaking this bike than breaking my neck. Go figure.

Finally, we arrived at the library. Liam parked and I got off the bike, glad that it and me were in one piece. Liam took off his helmet and then turned to me. He smiled at me struggling with the buckle.

"Here, let me." Liam took hold of the buckle and undid it. He pulled the helmet off me and set it down on the bike. Suddenly, his hands were smoothing my helmet hair from my face, taming it. I watched his face as he carefully rearranged my hair to look presentable. Up close he's so gorgeous, even better looking than Trey. Wait, what am I saying?! I snapped my eyes away from Liam's grey blue eyes.

"There, all done. Bring the helmet. I gotta store these in the lockers." Liam said as he took my hand in his and started walking. I looked at our intertwined hands. His big hands were pleasantly rough, dry and warm. I didn't say anything as I followed him dutifully to the library lobby.

At the lockers, he put his helmet in the coin locker. Then he got out of his jacket and put them in another locker. He then helped me get out of my jacket, eerily acting like a boyfriend. Like, seriously. I looked at his face the whole time. He looked relaxed and totally oblivious of me staring incredelously at him.

"Alright, let's go." He took my hand again we walked into the nice warm library. I just followed him. Some students stared at us. The girls looked shocked, some even gave me a death stare. Shit..their jealousy was practically oozing out of their eyeballs. I ignored them and just followed Liam, letting him grip my hand warmly. I totally liked holding his hand. Our hands fit perfectly, for some strange reason.

So, we spent the afternoon doing our assignments and studying. It was weird but I like studying with Liam. He doesn't try to distract me and he's actually pretty funny. Which made me almost forget he called me a fat ass bitch before. Hmm, that reminds me.

"Liam, can I ask you something?" I asked as I looked at him opposite me.

"Hmm? Yeah, sure. What's up?" Liam said as he looked up from his notes and looked at me with a small smile.

"You know, I've got to know you over the past week. And I think you're a great guy. So, I kinda find it weird that you called me a fat ass bitch, you know, when we first met." I said, looking at him closely.

Liam seemed taken aback by my question. He sighed and looked embarrassed. He cleared his throat and mumbled.

"Actually, I found out my ex-girlfriend cheated on me with my old high school friend that day. So, I wasn't the nicest person that day. But I know that's not an excuse to be a rude jerk. I'm really sorry." Liam said apologetically.

"That's okay. I'm used to it. Doesn't mean it hurts any less. But it's ok. I'm over it. But you do have to make it up to me." I said seriously.

"I'll do anything. Just name it." Liam said as he leaned nearer to me. I leaned forward so out faces were mere inches from each other.

"You have to buy me a huge, monstrous ice cream sundae." I said with an evil smile. Liam blinked his eyes a few times and sighed with relief. He chuckled and tweaked my nose playfully. I was struck dumb. What was that?! Oh God he is so cute!!!

"No problem. Just say when." Liam said with a soul melting smile.

"When," I said with a cheeky smile. Liam chuckled and nodded his head. He started packing up. I did, too.

Oh God, what is up with me?! One kiss and I was like a love struck teenager. Gotta focus. Trey, yes. He hadn't text me. Now what's up with him??
