Aayat was still unconscious and weak from lack of nutrients in her system. Zinat went all the way from Australia to Dubai to get the person who could help Aayat. On the other hand, Irshad tried to track down Abyad. He was not bothered by Rania because he knew that the one who deserved to destroy her was Aayat, but he knew that no matter what Aayat would never let anything hurt Abyad. Irshad was on his way to meet Aayat and he could not help but rekindle the time when he forced Aayat to join Abyad's class

Ever since Aayat cut her wrist, Abyad did not contact her for over a year, and no matter how hard she tried he would always manage to avoid her. However, when Irshad became the TA of Abyad's chemistry class, he asked Aayat to join the class such as to fix things between these two. Aayat was hesitating at first but when Abyad wished that they were on the same class on his birthday when Aayat wished him, she did not think twice before rescheduling her whole time table. This resulted in her being with Abyad in both chemistry and physics classes. Abyad was unaware of Aayat's decision and was talking to his cousin Jannah. He loved Jannah as a sister and she had a vibrant personality. Abyad noticed Aayat from afar but refused to acknowledge her for he had to go through with what Meher told him. He could not risk her life once again.

Upon seeing giving all his attention to another girl, Aayat decided to stay far from him and sulk on the first row of the class. Considering that she loved chemistry and that Irshad was there she was not afraid. However, her sweet behaviour intrigued the girl sitting next to her to befriend her. Irshad enjoyed the scene before him but kept quiet. He knew better than to fuel her anger. Irshad wanted Abyad to regret hurting his best friend. He purposefully placed his hand around Aayat's shoulder when he noticed Abyad staring. Aayat was so engaged in her conversation with the girl beside her that she did not bother stepping away from Irshad.

The girl beside Aayat looked extremely beautiful, she had a radiance radiating from her smile as she spoke. After a while, Irshad decided to step in. " Munchkin, mind introducing me to your friend?" he said with a smile on his face. "Is this your boyfriend?" asked the girl as she blushed. From what Aayat and Irshad could infer, the girl was quite shy. Aayat burst into fits of laughter at her assumption. "Dimples, if you look closely, you'll see someone willing to murder me" he stated which made the girl confused and Aayat blush. " Izza, my name is Izza" she replied, obviously flushed because of the nickname given by Irshad. "well dimples, I am Irshad and don't be confused look around and you'll..." Irshad was cut off by Abyad's interruption. " Izza, how come you are here?" asked Abyad as he rubbed his neck nervously. " Assalamualaikum Abyad, actually I thought you were busy with that girl over there, so I made myself comfortable over here and see I made a new friend" she blabbered. Irshad was amused while Aayat was looking down. Abyad's gaze was fixed on Irshad's hand which rested on Aayat's shoulder.

"Well, you can join us at the back, I did not notice you came, sorry," said Abyad looking away. " Figured that out buddy, but I am comfortable here, I am liking the company" she smiled assuringly at Abyad. "well then..." Abyad was about to move back to his place when he heard Izza call him back " Abyad don't be rude, meet them at least," she huffed dragging him back. Aayat tried to look unaffected seeing someone this close to him but she could not help but feel hurt. "No Izza, they seem busy in each other, I don't want to interfere," he said before walking off. Aayat could not hold back her tears anymore, no matter how much she tried to act indifferent, Abyad always managed to intrude her heart. Irshad sighed, as much as he wanted to comfort her, it was time for him to assist the lecturer, who had just walked into the class. No matter how Aayat tried she could barely focus so Irshad purposeful asked her questions to drag her out of her thoughts. Izza was confused but decided to let Aayat open up by herself.
