Aayat's p.o.v

I woke up to see Irshad holding me in his arms and begging me to open my eyes while Zinat was pacing back and forth in the room. "Ir...noodles" I called him he shushed me and hugged me. I sobbed onto his shirt and he stroked my hair to calm me down. After a while, I calmed down and broke free from the embrace. "I came here to surprise you and I am the one who ends up with a surprise, what's going on munchkin?" he asked with a sad smile. "hang on, let me see Zinat first then we'll catch up?" he nodded and I walked up to Zinat who was lost in her thoughts. Zinat was crying uncontrollably and she was extremely angry but she was holding herself back. "you know you can slap me if you want! I deserved that" I stated which brought a smile on her lips. She sighed and hugged me.

"By the way, who is the guy calling you munchkin?" she asked referring to Irshad. I laughed and introduced Irshad. "Zinat meet Irshad, my childhood best friend, he moved away before I met you and now, he is back" she laughed and held his hand "so Mr noodlehead, nice to meet you," she said which made Irshad pout. "Munchkin I thought I asked you to stop calling me that!" he protested but his smile on his face was not fading. "you must be Zinat if I am not mistaken!" he said as he placed his hand on Aayat's shoulder.

"Yes, but can we go back to Aayat for a while... Miss Kayra Aayat Ahmed if you dare pull a stunt like this ever again, you'll see the worse of me. AM I CLEAR?" she scolded me which made me flinch as it was the first time, I saw her like this. She could be quite scary if she wanted to. Irshad smiled and pecked my forehead "don't do this again shortie." I nodded and apologized to them after which Irshad left to bring ice cream for us.

*present*

Rania smirked as she received the news of Aayat's health. She finally succeeded in destroying Aayat. While Abyad was restless, for it was the second time he was responsible for Aayat's condition and he was helpless. He despised Rania for putting him in this condition once again and he wanted to get rid of her once and for all but for that, he had to play along until she lay out all her cards on the table. Abyad remained calm but was internally beating himself for Aayat's state.

*3years back*

Abyad's p.o.v

She was laying lifelessly in someone else arm. The guy looked extremely concerned and was begging her to open her eyes. I could not bear the sight, I asked Zinat to come over once I saw him do her first aid. I left from there. I was responsible for this. I did not deserve her, I punished her for something she had no control on. I had to make her hate me because I cannot afford to see her like this again.

I walked up to Meher, she was cute and small. She reminded me of my little cousin. She offered me some filter coffee which I gladly accepted. After a while in a comfortable silence she spoke up "if you are planning on making her hate you, her enemy was the last resort, she loves you too much to see through this." I sighed, this girl knew everything, and nothing could be hidden from her. "then what should I do?" I asked completely frustrated. I thought that I was over her, but I was fooling myself and seeing her with someone else it made me want to snatch her away.

She attempted suicide because of me, how could she love me so much. I wish I was worthy enough for her, but I do not deserve her. "try the hot and cold thing and maybe spread some rumours about yourself," suggested Meher looking back into her book. "make her gradually hate you!" she stated before leaving to attend her class.

*present*

Rania was still celebrating her victory with her closest friend, unaware of what was waiting for her. The wrath of Aayat's dearest friends Dafne and Zinat was yet to come. If Abyad was Aayat's lover and her world then Zinat and Dafne were like her oxygen and water. They loved Aayat like their sister and always stood by her side. Standing outside the ward, Dafne and Zinat vowed to make Aayat so strong that no one could mess with her.

They needed all the help they could because Aayat was soft and sweet and it would not be an easy task to take that away from her. Besides, she needed to be healthy before training her and that would be even more difficult as Aayat had developed a complete distaste towards food. However, Zinat knew exactly who could bring Aayat back on track and she was willing to travel across the world to bring that person back.
