Episode 4

It was now midnight, Arkyn is still right outside of Rivaleon's bedroom. Contemplating whether or not he should go along the plan of milking money out of the poor incubus.

It was one thing to seduce a man, but this is an incubus we're talking about. They're supposed to be the one to seduce the human.

And, after his talk with this Ketllehead's parents; things have gone to be much clearer for him. Kind of.

This was not just a random old geezer nor an ignorant rich brat he was talking about. This was Rivaleon Vylerrith, the most prominent person or...demon in all of Europe. Will it be wise to play with fire?

The door in front of Arkyn suddenly opened, pulling Arkyn out of his thoughts. And a toned and naked body of an incubus was revealed.

Before Arkyn's eyes could travel further down the North, he gagged at his own spit.

"Are you alright? I've been smelling you here for the past 30 minutes." Rivaleon said, crossing his arms as he stared at the disheveled human.

Gone was the angry and grumpy Rivaleon, what he did to release the anger and pent up frustrations? No one knows.

"Put some clothes on!" Arkyn angrily replied, clutching his chest as he took large inhales of breaths, he exhales creating little puffs.

"Like what you see?" Rivaleon asked flirtatiously. Posing boldly to reveal more of his expo.

"You're an incubus dumbass, your effects are stronger when you have no clothes on!" Arkyn answered, using a random pillar to support his body. His face instantly filled with heat and arousal quickly overtook his body.

At least now, Arkyn knew first hand what was really the side effects were like.

Rivaleon; no longer wanted his human to suffer. He went back inside his room and picked a random onesie.

"Now you look like a damn highlighter." Arkyn snickered, taking in at the incubi's choice of sleepwear.

Rivaleon responded by chuckling softly and smiling softly at Arkyn.

"Well, the uglier I look, the weaker my effects become," Rivaleon said, opening the door widely for Arkyn. "Although let's be honest, I can never look ugly."

"Whatever floats your boat." Arkyn politely entered the incubi's den. As much as he hated the incubus, the last thing he wanted was to be shipped off at one of their gulags.

Arkyn didn't strive to survive all these years, just so a random demon could ship him off to his own demise because he refused to marry IT.

The room had polished floorboards, with a huge rug in the middle. The bed was located right in the center of the room, the rug preventing it from scraping the expensive floor.

The room was decorated with Rivaleon's various portraits. Several cabinets on the side that held trinkets.

Rivaleon went and sat on his bed, patting the side next to him, and motioning that Arkyn came and sat beside him.

"Hey," Rivaleon said, as he scratched at the back of his neck and stared at a random trinket. "I'm sorry about earlier, would you give me another chance?"

"It's alright, I heard you were territorial," Arkyn said carefully, leaving it at that.

"So, have you decided?" Rivaleon asked, his tail stopped wagging.

Arkyn hummed in response. "What's there to lose?"

"Probably your normal mediocre life." Rivaleon joked, hugging his pillow.

This made Arkyn smile at the joke.

'Hugging my human will have to wait, I don't wanna rush him' Rivaleon thought, smiling at the sight of his smiling soulmate.

"Sure." Arkyn chuckled. "If anything; my life is far from normal. I just gotta have you know that my life, is full of spicy romance and saucy flings."

"Sure." Rivaleon grinned.

Arkyn grumbled. "Fine, Although on one condition."

"As long as I can provide it."

"Kill my Sugar Daddy."

Rivaleon's face fell, as he realized what Arkyn meant by having a boyfriend.

The first light came. Arkyn and Rivaleon were now inside the limousine; headed to the hospital.

Arkyn was dressed in fitted black latex pants with a fishnet mesh top. Along with a white fur coat. Although it was chilly outside and the combat boots were suffocating Arkyn's feet, the human decided to sacrifice comfort for vanity.

Rivaleon didn't bother asking his mate as to why Arkyn owned such provocative clothing. What he did ask however is. "Why the hell are you dressed like a fucking dominatrix? We're going to a hospital, not a sex dungeon."

"Oh shush, Kennedy is into this and the more I please him in his last moments, the more riches he'll give to me."

Rivaleon only grumbled in response, clearly not liking the fact that Arkyn was trying to please someone else.

"Why do you even want his money? I can give you all our money down to the last penny."

"I want to have my own money," Arkyn answered blandly.

"Why?"

"Why the questions?"

"You're my soulmate, I think it's only right if we get to know each other?"

Arkyn grumbled, taking a diet coke from the mini-fridge as Rivaleon comfortably sat; his tail resting on Arkyn's thigh.

"If shit hits the fan, which will."

"What do you mean?" Rivaleon's eyebrows shot up.

"When you leave me," Arkyn said, crossing his arms and glaring at Rivaleon. "I know your kind Rivaleon, you're an incubus. You seduce men and women to sleep with them and then fucking discard them."

"I'm a virgin," Rivaleon replied, eyes glued at his human's pair of ocean-like orbs.

Arkyn widened his eyes. "Come again?" Arkyn asked again, thinking he was hallucinating.

Rivaleon rolled his eyes. "I'm a virgin."

Arkyn narrowed his eyes. "But Google said that incubi and succubi were promiscuous demons, tricking mortals into having intercourse with them," Arkyn said, holding his phone up to show Rivaleon his evidence.

Rivaleon snatched Arkyn's phone. "You didn't listen to Mom and Dad yesterday did you?" Rivaleon asked.

"No. In my defense, your mom was getting so freaky touchy with your dad so I thought it'd be best to google info out of your kind instead." Arkyn replied honestly.

"Not everything google says is true you dummy." Rivaleon pinched Arkyn's cheek. "You're like one of those Anti-vaccine Christian Moms." Rivaleon chuckled.

Arkyn only got more flustered. "Oh shut up, Go to hell," Arkyn muttered.

"That's where I belong after all," Rivaleon said as he grinned at his human.

Minutes passed, and Arkyn decided to ask more questions, serious questions.

"Hey, are you certain that I'm your soulmate?" Arkyn asked, pointing at himself.

"Yes."

"How?"

"The first time I smelled and glanced at you, and the first time I got a whiff of your scent," Rivaleon answered, recalling his first encounter with his mate.

"Why can't I feel anything for you then? Sure I have a small crush for you but aside from that nothing more."

Rivaleon stopped wagging his tail and tilted his head as he smiled at Arkyn. "You have a crush on me?" Rivaleon asked.

"Just a little, emphasis on small dumbass."

Rivaleon couldn't stop smiling. "Doesn't matter, at least you like me to some degree." Rivaleon placed his tail at Arkyn's thigh again. Leaning against Arkyn, Rivaleon inched his face closer at Arkyn's warm ear. "And you confirming that you're into men too makes me even happier," Rivaleon whispered sweetly before he delicately ran his tongue on Arkyn's earlobe.

Arkyn shivered, as he let out another puff of human exhale.

"You're also one of those people that get turned on by anything huh?" Rivaleon chuckled, as he snaked his arm around Arkyn's shoulders.

Rivaleon noticed that his little soulmate was shivering from the cold. Apart from his mate's revealing outfit, the heater was not working normally since they barely used it. The little thing he could do for his mate was to simply provide him warmth.

Although it was a small move, Arkyn appreciated Rivaleon's concern for his well-being. Deciding to also give the incubus some affection, Arkyn laid his head on Rivaleon's shoulder and entangled his hands at Rivaleon's waist.

To Arkyn's surprise, he didn't feel afraid despite what happened in the past few hours. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all-Arkyn thought.

Rivaleon only smiled as he ptilted his head and rested it on top of Arkyn's head, careful not to put too much pressure.

"Hey, Rivaleon?" Arkyn asked. "What if you find someone else?" Arkyn asked.

Without thinking too much, Rivaleon quickly answered. "When did you have a clone." Rivaleon chuckled, it might be silly but it was also true.

"I'm serious."

"So am I."

"Nothing nor no one could overshadow you as easily as you could outshine them," Rivaleon said, giving Arkyn's shoulder a gentle comforting squeeze.

"You were made for me and I was made for you, even before we were brought into this world." Rivaleon looked at Arkyn. "Because we're soulmates."

"We may not be the couple that has the best chemistry out there, but we're sure as hell made for each other. The connection being the solid proof of course." Rivaleon said smugly.

It was then, that Arkyn realized how lucky he was to have gotten Rivaleon as his mate. He was even so lucky to get the pleasure and luxury of having a soulmate.

Damn, he's so lucky.

And without realizing much, the lucky human did not feel nor notice the pink blush that crept on his cheeks.
