Episode 8

Nina's POV

My heart is pounding in my chest as he leads me out the back of the club. "After all this time. Why now" I ask.

"You thought you would get away, like I told you before. You'll always be mine's."

My eyes start to well up as we go through the doors and out into the alley even though it started to rain. He pushes me against the brick wall and tries to kiss me. "Oh how I've missed you" he whispers against my lips. I turn my head away and purse my lips together to avoid the contact. When he notices he grabs my chin roughly and pinches my nose causing me to open my mouth to breath.

He kisses me again and starts to run his hands along my body. I try to push him off so he punches me in the stomach and then in the face.

"Why do you always have to make me hurt you" he screams.

"I try to treat you right but your always so fućking unappreciative" he kicks me repeatedly as I fall to the ground. I curl into a ball to block the blows and scream for help hoping someone hears me over the music. "You belong to me"

He pulls out a knife and drags it against my arm. "You remember this?"

"Please stop" I cry out.

He goes to stab me but instead I hear a gunshot and the foot steps running away from me. I'm in so much pain my eyes begin to shut until everything goes black and then silence.

2 Days later - Monday morning.

Georgie's POV

It's been two days since Nina's been attacked and she still hasn't woken up yet. The clubs been closed down, not that it matters right now. I couldn't describe the feeling I got when Riley came running into the club with Nina bleeding in his arms. We called and ambulance and I went with her. I told him to close the building down and make sure everyone got home safe, after that he met me here to talk to police about what happened.

I've been getting calls from Grace and Kris, their just as worried as I am. Once lunch time runs around I head out to get something to eat and take a shower. I never left her side until now. She was rushed to surgery right after she got there, she was in their for 6 hours before the doctor came out and told me she made it through surgery but they had to put her into a medical induced coma to help her body and brain heal up. She had cuts down her arms and broken ribs as well as a concussion.

When I was on my way back Nikolai was beside my car waiting for me. "Look I'll have to talk to you later. I need to go!" I said.

"Why is the club closed and why isn't Nina answering the phone?"

I looked up at him and his face went from calm to anger in the matter of seconds. I gulped and looked away.

"Where is Nina"

"Sh- she's in the hos- hospital" I answered.

Nikolai grabbed me by the throat and lifted me up without hesitation. "You have five seconds to explain" he seethed.

"She was attacked last night, Riley found her outside in the alley, someone was with her and he shot him in the leg but he got away. He was more worried getting her to the hospital than him." I said as fast as I could before he cut my airway completely off.

He dropped me on the ground and rushed to his car. "Nikolai wait"

He didn't listen.... I mean can you blame him.

Nikolai's POV

I told Michal to get me to the hospital as fast as he could. While in the car I called Sam and Riker to pull up any surveillance around the club and to get me all information they can on Nina. I didn't want to learn about her past this way. I wanted her to tell me but I'm out of options now.

We get to the hospital and I rush in asking for Nina's room. The nurses asks who am I to her and it's just making me more angry that I have to deal with this.

" I am Nikolai Udinov, anymore questions?" I tell her. Her eyes widen and quickly shakes her head and tells me where to go. "Thank you"

When I reach her door I see the doctor already in there. As impatient as I am I decide it's best to wait and not cause a scene. He doesn't seem to be talking so what's going on. It was then Georgie comes down the hall. I know it's not his fault but I can't help but be pissed at him for not being there for her, more so I'm pissed at myself.

"They had to put her in a coma so her body could rest and heal faster. She has a concussion, several broken ribs and cuts along her arms."

"Who would do this to her" I ask him.

" all I can think of is someone from her foster family. I wouldn't be telling you this if it wasn't for the current situation but her foster brother Liam, he was obsessed with Nina. He wanted her to himself but she didn't like him. Her parents never tried to help, they actually got Nina to distract their son hoping she'd be enough for him to stop tormenting them."

I started to shake in anger. What kind of family does this to someone and at such a young age, she had to barely be a teenager.

"You May have noticed she has her arms and chest covered. She has multiple cuts on her arms from her time with him then. And now she has more. She covered some up with some tattoos as a way to cope with her past. Every time she fought and denied him he'd put her down and hurt her, tell her that he was the only one that loved her. After she turned 16 she left and came to Chicago, I found her sleeping outside the school so I'd let her in the gym to sleep there and before I leave school I'd make sure she had something to eat and drink. Eventually she trusted me to bring her to my home and my mom let her stay with open arms. Soon enough she became one with the family and told us everything that happened."

"Thank you for telling me, trust and believe I will handle this." My voice was shaky but assertive.

The doctor come out to talk to us. "She's slowly waking up, all her vitals are good and her neurological sense are responsive. She will be groggy for a bit, try not to cause any stress or anxiety for her. Please" the doctor says.

Me and Georgie walk in and we see her eyes slowly open. We rush by her side and hold her hands in ours. Tears run down her cheeks and I softly wipe them away. "Your okay now принцесса" (Princess) I whisper to her. I can't bear the thought of what this Asśhole has put her through all this time.

I WILL KILL YOU!!

A/N- hey there lovelies sorry for the late chapter but I wanted to get this one out for you guys since I only did one this weekend. It's been such a tiring week and weekend with work and getting all my schooling information and preparation together. Anyways I hope you enjoy this chapter. Nina's past is coming to the surface and Nikolai is beginning to struggle with keeping his emotions together.
