Episode 6

Nikolai POV

3pm

I get up to stretch my legs and get a glass of whiskey from the little bar in the corner of my office. I plan on staying later to finish these reports and finalize the payments. Hopefully by the time I get home Riker and Sam will have something on Anton and this mystery of a life he has. I wanna have something concrete before I head out tonight, I don't need to be thinking of this shít when I go to see Nina. My focus will be on her and only her, "She makes me feel things I haven't felt before." I say to myself. I mean don't get me wrong I've had my share of women in my life but I've never done the relationships. At least they never got that far to begin with.

I get up and grab my things. I let Jamison go home early considering everything was planned out already for the next few meetings coming up. I call Michal and let him know I'm on my way down. I usually text him when I'm staying later and he makes his was here 10 minutes before the time I tell him i should be done by. He's been with my family for years. I can always count on him. Actually I think the only real people with me I can trust 100% is Michal, Sam, Riker, and of course Mae. Everyone else I work with I trust to an extent. Honestly I don't trust myself sometimes but that comes with the territory. " Never let your guard down...cause that's when you've made your biggest mistake." My dad taught me that during our little heart to heart if you could call it that.

It's now 6pm when I arrive at home. I head straight for the computer room but not before I make it known to Mae that I'm home. She hates when I don't check in with her. I walk into the computer room and by the look on their faces I already know, they've got nothing new. "Sorry boss" they say in unison.

I don't say anything I just head out, close the door and scurry to my room. I'm pissed but what can I say, they know what to do so I just leave them to it. I get in the shower and let the water cascade down my shoulders and back. "Damn I needed this" I whisper to myself. In this moment all I could think about was Nina. I couldn't wait to see her, she's not the typical stripper and I loved every second of it. Her attire was usually a long sleeved cropped top and some shorts. I questioned myself why she choose the attire but when she started dancing none of that mattered. She was thick in all the right places, the way she moves her hips and makes her thighs and ass shake is just amazing and the lighting in the club was perfect for the way it hit her chocolate skin. I wish I could wake up to her beautiful face everyday.

" Mark my words Nina, you will be mines."

I finish cleaning up and got dressed. I head downstairs and thankfully dinner was ready, I'm starving. I go to the computer room and tell the guys to stop and come eat. "Boss we can - "

I hold my hand up and give them a look, they immediately put down their work and head out the door. I walk out last and close the door behind me.

We all sit down and eat and Sam speaks out. " we'll have something soon Nik I promise."

" I know" I say with a smile. " you guys know me not to be some strict overruling boss, you guys work with me not for me. Your my closest friends. I don't want to be the boss that everyone feels like they'll be killed if they look at me wrong. They know that I Wont tolerate being disrespected but they also know they can come to me is there a problem. We'll figure this out together."

And with that they nodded their heads and we finished dinner. Now for what I've longed to see since Wednesday night. We walked into the strip club and Riker was on the move, he hadn't been out for awhile so I told him to join me and Sam. We all get individual booths so we can have some space. Each of us had a security guard with us just in case.

I hear the announcement that Nina was coming to the stage. Her stage name was Nova. I learned her real name when I first saw her and requested her to my booth. Georgie knows me well so he was hesitant at first but then agreed to let her join me. I thought maybe he liked her for himself and I got a little pissed but when he told me why he was so protective I understood his actions. He told me if I were to ever learn her background story then it'd have to be for her. I nodded my head and waited for her to come and we'll you know the rest.

The stage goes dark and then lights like the stars turn on. Nina walks out and I sit up eager to see her I keep my eyes on her and once she looks up her eyes meet mine and they never look away. Once she finishes her set I wait for her to head for my booth. Before she can make it here Riker comes over.

"She's the sexiest dancer I have ever seen, I need to go request her." Riker says.

"I clench my fists and clench my jaw. " she's off limits" I say my voice deep and assertive.

" Your kidding right, she works here she can do one dance for me at least." Riker says.

He may be my closet friend but he's not stupid. I get up and move closer to him. His eyes meet my glare and he moves back a little. " you wanna try that again" I say

Riker gulps before saying " no sir, I apologize" and walks back to his booth.

Just as he leaves Nina walks in and I smile at her. She stops and just looks at me.

"What" I say " nothing just taking in the moment." She says smiling.

She grabs the remote and plays her playlist and I watch her as I light my cigar.

" you always going to watch me like that" she asks.

I blow out some smoke "I'd look at you everyday if I could" I say. She chuckles and continues dancing. I get up and decide I wanna see how far she's let me go. She starts twerking so I reach up and grab her ass. She smacks my hand away. I smirk and do it again. She turns around. "I'll leave" is all she said and I put my hand up and sat down.

"That's what I thought" she said. I laugh. "What's so funny" she asks curiously.

"You think your in charge" She sticks out her tongue and finishes her dance. When she's done she comes down and sits in my lap without me asking. "Comfortable" I ask. She leans back and rests right under my arm and puts her legs in my lap. "Now I am" she smiles.

I

take a deep breath and rest my chin on her head. She leans into my touch and I can't describe what I'm feeling right now. "Will you go to lunch with me tomorrow" I ask hoping she says yes.

Nina's POV

Nikolai's question replayed in my head over and over again. Do I want to I ask myself.

I can't explain to myself why I feel so comfortable around this man when we've barely had tome to get to know each other. All I know is that he makes me feel safe and I trust him for some reason.

"Of course" I say. He smiles and wraps his arms around me. I breath in his scent and it's so inviting. Even the cigar smell on his breath doesn't turn me away. "How can I deny this man" I say in my head. He gives me his phone to put my number in, I do that and he says hell put my name in for me. After a few minutes we sit there and talk about how our day went and we played 21 questions. My choice of course. An hour and half later I felt better now knowing a little more about my mystery man. It's almost time to close so we finish up our game and he gives me some money for the night.

"Again this is too much" I say to him. He ignores me and hands it to Grace asking her to put it in my bag. I roll my eyes and start to head back. He grabs me by the waist before I get the chance to get out of the booth. He spins me around and I gasp at the sudden closeness, he leans his head down to my head and his breath hits my skin. My body shivers and he smirks at the reaction. "Watch it принцесса" (Princess), he whispers in my ear as he squeezes me a little tighter. I take a deep breath and nod my head. "Sorry sir" I say. he kisses my temple and let's me go. "Mhm go change."

I say goodnight to Kris and Grace and go to find Georgie. I see him talking to Nikolai and a few other guys, I know the three standing back are security but the other two next to Nikolai I'm not sure. when they notice me Georgie speaks out.

"Hey I gotta take some of the girls home, are you okay with Nikolai taking you home?" He asks.

I look at Nikolai "sure" I say nervously.

He introduces me to the two other guys. Ones names Samuil but they call him Sam and the other is named Riker. I shake their hands and I see Nikolai tense when I shake Rikers hand.

Nikolai reaches his hand out for me to take, I do so and we walk to the car. His driver I now know as Michal opens the door for us and we all pile in. Me and Nikolai in the back, Riker in the front with Michal and Sam in the back with us only a few seats away.

"Where to принцесса" he says. (Princess)
