Platinum curls and emerald green eyes were the only thing Ethan caught sight of before His feet began to throb with an unimaginable pain.

When Lara walked into him she had not missed her chance to step on his feet hard.

Ethan whose expressions were never good when he met Lara was now showing an ugly expression which looked uglier with the pain.

As if Seeming to have realized she was stepping on his shoes Lara apologized quickly in the most disgustingly sweetest and purest way possible.

"I'm really sorry Ethan" her eyes seemed to even hold instead tears as they glistened. "I didn't expect to bump into you and Your feet happened to be there when I put mine down"

Ethan felt that her words sounded a little off but his attention was on his foot.

'what's with the look? Why do I feel like she's the victim here?'

"Why're you here?" He asked indifferently trying yo act as aloof as possible.

"I invited a friend out to celebrate the happy occasion with" Lara smiled at him "But why are you here brother Ethan? Sister Cecil and..... Emma!!" she emphasized the last word in a hateful and jealous filled tone.

"Ethan why is this bi*ch still with you? Didn't you throw her away already? How can she be shameless enough to still hang around with you?" Lara stated furiously pointing at Emma.

Emma had been grinding her teeth in anger because Lara didn't even notice that she was standing near Ethan.

When Lara finally noticed her and began cursing at her infront of Ethan she felt happiness swell up inside her.

'Stupid Lara, the more you treat me like this the more Ethan will hate you and like me' Her thoughts didn't show in her face.

She grabbed Ethan's sleeves lightly as if feeling scared and guilty towards Lara who was cursing at her.

"Stop it Lara, you're the one who's shamelessly clinging on to me not Emma. I love her and I am not playing around with her so don't dream about breaking us up. And Just because you're a young miss doesn't mean you can bully Emma.." Ethan would've continued if his sister Cecil didn't tug on his shirt and warn him about the onlookers.

"Let's go Emma, don't listen to her" Ethan dragged the almost crying Emma out with him and the two bodyguards followed.

"Keep acting pitiful, I'll prefer it more if you two get closer than you are now" Lara sneered but she shifted her attention back to her main target, Cecil.

Cecil was the Vozens only young miss and Ethan's younger sister. She was also the reason why Lara had been impulsive in her previous life.

Bullying Emma, drugging Ethan and stealing her parents company secret files had all been suggested by Cecil to her under the pretense of being a good sister in law and helping Ethan and Lara to be together.

The drug smuggling incident which she had been tied to by Cecil was the very first and most impavtful incident which had caused the Dwane family to crumble.

She had to collect evidence and find out ways to to tie Cecil to the scandal this time.

"B-but mother said...s-she won't be bothering brother Ethan and me anymore... I" Lara had a very bitter look and spoke in a trembling voice.

"Cecil what do I do? Brother Ethan hates me more now" She finally let tears slid down as she hugged Cecil.

"Hush.. How can you speak like that. I'm still on your side remember? Big Brother is only being stubborn, we can get rid of that little bi*tch in a jiffy and brother will be all yours" Cecil looked really innocent with her childlike smile and yellow dress.

But Lara knew well what was under the innocent looking face. A face even worse than the devils.

"Yeah! That fake **** should know her own place. Let's teach her a lesson" she showed a determined expression "I'm really glad that I have you by my side" Lara smiled as she wiped her tears, she caught sight of the mocking smile Cecil had but acted a fool anyway.

Together hand in hand like comrade in arms the two people with fake mask on made their way to the Vozen mansion.

And exactly like in her previous life, Cecil suggested her to drug Ethan at the night of their engagement party. And she too very readily took up the offer and willing fell into the the trap.

Where she got the drugs from, Cecil wasn't stupid enough to give herself away, but Lara didn't feel disappointed because there were plenty of opportunities ahead and she couldn't rush anything just yet.
