Chapter 2

the night was fast and all the guest in the banquet have arrived. Tan Li Rose on the other side made her preparations of the set-up.

" make sure that you will succeed in this or else i won't give you the whole money i'm going to paid you " she said one of those men she hired.

she will do her best and by any means she will get what she wants by hook or by crook.

Shui Chen was still in her way to the banquet as she stucked in the traffic jam. she felt a sudden weird feeling but she didn't care about it.

after 10 minutes of stucked they finally moved forward faster and she finally arrived in 5 minutes.

as the car stopped in front of the hall way in front of the main door, everyone gathered and even the media was there too. she was being the center of attraction.

rose was being informed by her maid and she smiled evily.

she walk down the stairs and she thought that everyone would be there if she comes down and took pictures of her but she was wrong. all the attentions were at shui chen. she got mad and jealous bu instead of being mad she drive herself in the thoughts of her plan.

' you can still smile but later you will get what you deserve ' she said.

when she finally down the stairs she walked towards shui chen and put up the act.

" make way please " she said and so everyone did. she saw shui chen touring around her eyes and she snapped her in front of others trying to embarrased her.

" hey, i'm here. let's go? " she said.

" yeah, i'm sorry for being spaced out " shui chen said.

the weird feeling shui chen has gotten worse.

' i think there is something wrong tonight would happen. i'd better get out of here ' she said but that was too late as the banquet is already starting.

she was become the special guest of the banquet and thus she gave a speech for the celebrants.

" thank you for inviting me here as one of your special guest and i hope that you will be given a healthy life and body. that's all thank you " she said and get down on the stage.

everyone is applausing. this is an anniversary banquet of the two old couple of the Tan.

as she get down on the stage a waiter is helping her down and rose approach her holding a glass of wine. she received the wine glass and then walk towards to their table smiling.

what she didn't know is that the wine was being spiked.

one of the tan family declared the cheers of the wine. she take a sip and then place it on the table.

after a bit, the drug was slowly effecting on her. she felt a little dizzy.

' i just take a sip... something's wrong with the wine! ' she said on her thoughts.

" are you okay? " rose asked. she really put up the act in front of her friend.

" you... did you put something on the wine? " she asked and her eyes went blurry.

" w-what are you talking about? why would i do that? " she stammered a bit. and inside in her thoughts. she smiled evily.

" you should rest. someone must take you to the guest room " she said in an act.

rose asked one of her men to assist her to the guest room and she even assigned one of a media to capture her and broadcast it on the headline.

as shui chen assisted to the guest room. she felt scared so she tried herself to be conscious.

" i-i'd better call my driver to fetch me here so that i can go home " she said trying everything that she can so she can avoid of the danger but luck won't go on her side.

" i'm sorry miss but the young lady of the tan asked us to take care of you " the man in a waiter suit said and even unbotton the bottons of the polo.

" w-what do you mean? do you know who i am? i'm the w-wife of the young magnate Chen Zhie Ren! " she said braver but the two men just laugh.

" even if you screamed no one would help you! " a man with a big strong muscles said and then carry her. shui tried so hard to escape.

" you!! stop moving or else you won't regret it! " a man in a waiter suite shouted.

" i won't stop until you put me down! " she loudly said and hoping that somebody would help her.

" you asked for this! " a man in the waiter suite hit shui chen's back neck that made her become unconscious.

she slowly opened her eyes and roam around her eyes in the room.

" where am i? " she asked in her own self.

" this room... i'm not quite familiar and i'm not at my home. where am i?! " she said and suddenly woke up from the bed and she was shocked when she saw a man beside her sleeping.

she shouted. " ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! why are you here at my bed?!!!! get out?! " she shouted and she look at her body but luckily she still on her dress

" why am i sleeping here? chen would probably worried about me?! " she teary eyed said.

' *what am i supposed to do?! what am i supposed to do?! chen would misunderstand me sleeping this unknown man!

i can't even remember what happened last night!... wait...

I just take a sip from the wine and just a minute i got dizzy! right! there is something wrong with the wine*! ' shui chen said and even panicked.

she was startled because of the sudden opening of the door.

A man with a broad shouldet and muscle with a dark aura filled within him and a handsome face showed up. she's very happy when she saw it was her husband.

she walk fast towards him and said.

" honey!! you came! i just-- " she didn't finish her words as chen said something so harshly.

" i didn't know you could be like this.... we've married for several years and you always did it on my back. i have been seen you hanging out with a man but you.... i didn't believe at first but you just prove it. i can't believe i married a wh*re woman like you. if you go home later, sign the divorce papers i placed it on the table " said chen and left. his baritone and cold voice is the first she heard it.

" sh-shui... how can you be like this " rose put up the act and went to shui chen who left being dumbfounded by her husband.

as soon rose approach her shui chen came back to reality and even the media is taking pictures. she didn't notice it until the elders of the tan family is saying something that made the media drink the juicy news.

" a slut who is invited in my banquet makes me feel sick and you!! you bring a misfortune in this family and you even embarrased us! guards! take this b*tch out of here! " grandma of the tan's said.

rose just smiled so evil.

" shui... are you okay? " said rose and keep up the act. rose hold shui chen's arms but shui chen retract her arms so angrily.

" you vixen, i will not forgive you for betraying me! " she said and so the media is still picturing.

" w-what are you talking about? i... i didn't betray you " rose said. " huh! keep acting like a bitch. i will really not forgive you for spiking my wine! " shui chen said in a warning tone.

rose hug her in fake and whisper something tha made shui chen slapped her.
