Chapter 2 - A Strange World

White light slowly fading away, his body is slowly tangible.

The man stretches his pocket to find his phone soon as he realized he is at somewhere different from where he was. He pats his chest, lucky that he still had at least his phone with him. Half of everything he needs is inside his phone memory.

He stares at his phone again to check the date and time.

The today date with different coordinate. Means, he is at somewere else from different dimension?

He stood right in the middle of the crowds, the large amount of people make him impossible to find a way around the highstreet. The vibrant clothes shine in the morning light and the people move like enchanting shoals of fish. The pavement was invisible under the incoherent waves of shoes that walked back and forth regularly. One more time, he wants to make sure of the coordinate, he took out his phone again.

"Am I really in the other dimension?" he still can't believe that he arrived in other's world. He never thought that he could finally made it, cause it still feels like dreaming.

Some thoughts turned him spacing out, "Where am I?", "What am I going to do here?", and most importantly, "What happened?"

bzzt bzzt

He lifted his phone and found it is no longer useful. The man clicked his tongue and frowned, "Oh my god, this is really a disaster"

All he could see is just the broken system from his phone. He smacked his phone on his palm for several times, "Aishh.. Why isn't it working?"

Again, people staring at him. A speech boomed over the crowd, telling the crowds to stop by the fashion boutique, with a huge 50% OFF sign on the big TV above the entrance. The whole place is different from where he belongs, he really made it to the other dimension. He walks past the crowds with people eyes on him, when he reached the stop. He finally realized, there's a huge billboard with his cartoon picture and his friends. There's a huge word printed on the board, "Secret" by "Cyberspace", a logo of App Store and Playstore, tiny words under it saying "available for iOS and Android".

His eyes popped up wide, his brain stutters for a moment and his eyes take in more light than he expected, every part of his goes on pause while his thoughts catch up. His legs feel numb, he almost collapsed but the bench got him still. He sat on the bench, throwing his eyes away from the shocking advertisement, trying to remember how to breathe, totally stunned as the name bounces around inside his skull.

"What the hell is going on?" he couldn't catch up what does it mean on the board. His breath quickened. He cocked his head one more time to check the board. There's a tiny sentence under the board, "The number one otome romance game developed by Cyberspace"

The vibration of his phone startled him. He quickly took his phone out, hoping that he could use it to find clues and start to find the way to bring him back to his world immediately.

"Anyway what with the word Otome Romance?" he knows the meaning of the word "Otome Romance", but what does it mean by Otome and him?

His phone refers to numbers again but then it was gone for few seconds later, "Hahhh" he sighed desperately.

Suddenly, his phone turned back to normal, but no services. He type and scroll swiftly on the screen, just to look for something that could help him out, at least he caught some signals. He walks past the crowds slowly, and stopped by a 5th floor building towering over him, seems deserted and quiet. He follows the connection until he reached the 3rd floor room 32.

"Inside this apartment, something I need the most. A complete PC and Wifi, and some electronic stuffs" he mumbled.

knock knock knock

"Just talk to them"

No answer.

knock knock knock

"I will leave once I finished my work"

knock knock knock

No answer? Really?

knock knock

Krietttt

"Is this apartment empty? Abandoned?"

The door is half open, it smells like normal room with a little lavender scent, but the surroundings are pretty absurd. The room is dark, empty, bottles scattering, and blankets on the floor. The lights only came from the window and the kitchen.

"Is-is anyone home?" he asked again, just to make sure before entering stranger's room.

He walks past the mess, arrived just near the window. A computer, laptop, a phone, a drawing tablet, digital pen, Wifi router, and other mechanic things inside the box, while the lid is half open. This is why his phone leads him to this apartment, they have the items he needed.

He sat on the chair and begin turning the computer on, his hand start typing on the keyboard. He need to hack into the PC first before working because it requires password.

Then he heard someone clicked the lamp on. A girl standing with her groceries, standing still with eyes gazing at him and stoned in place. They look at each other, without words.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" she screamed and he screamed too.
