We headed to battle class after the boring session of maths. As we walked into battle class we saw quite a few strange things. In the corners of the room were 4 circles of glowing light. Then I saw the teacher. It was a young boy, who looked about 24 years old. “Everyone, my name is Mr. Raw.” He said in a loud, booming voice. “In battle class you will learn how to use your elements in battle. Follow me.” He walked through a door connecting the classroom to a large stadium.

“Here you will battle against others in a one-on-one duel. Only the top ten strongest students will compete. The others can just train. Before we do that, please put your element energy into this crystal, so we can match your fights. All you have to do is place your hand on it and imagine you are placing yourself into it. Now, who is first?” The iron dragon boy walked up, and placed his hand on the crystal. It started glowing, and our teacher said, “Declan, 112 element energy, very good. Next.” 112 energy level means he is a level-2 student Rank. Next, Harry went up. “Harry, 98 element energy, good.” Harry is almost a level-2 Rank student!

We all went up, and these were the results of the top ten students:

Declan: 112

Rose: 106

Harry: 98

Ben: 96

Peter: 94

Midna: 82

Hughes: 81

Jackie: 76

Lily: 68

Chloe: 51

Everyone else was 50 or below. Mr. Raw drew up the matches, “First match, Chloe vs Lily.” They both got up on stage. I think Chloe is an ice element user. Ice is a Rank-2 element, but Lily has more element energy. Although, I highly doubt that they will be able to use their elements, has we have never used them before. Start!” Shouted Mr. Raw. They both charged at each other and started fighting. They do this for a long time until Lily summons vines, wrapping around Chloe’s legs. They suddenly freeze and Chloe summons ice spikes, all aiming at Lily. “Stop!” Shouted Mr. Raw, “Chloe wins!” He drew two more names out of the box. “Jackie and Harry!” Chloe and Lily were evenly matched, but these two are not so much. Jackie has the sound element and it is Rank-2 while Harry has an element higher than Rank-0. Mr. Raw tells them to start and Jackie summons a guitar. Waves of sound come out from it as he plays, pushing Harry back. The floor around Harry turns black. Harry looks up and where his eyes should be are 2 black sockets. Suddenly, Harry roars, unleashing a wave of Black Death heading towards Jackie. Jackie tries to push it away with his guitars sound but it doesn’t do anything to the lurching wall of death. Then it disappears. Literally gone. I see Mr. Raw holding his hand out at the spot it used to be, and he lets his hand down. “Stop!” He shouts, “Harry wins!” Judging by what just happened, Mr. Raw is a space element user.
