Chapter 4

Our group headed to dinner after getting unpacked. I had found out the other 2 girls names. They were: Lily and Midna. Everyone was still giggling at what I had found on my freshly transported clothes, especially the girls. It had said: “Peter, I hope you have a great time at Riol! Oh, and don’t try to impress girls by putting undies on your head again.” When we arrived at the dining hall everyone was eating and chatting away. We headed over to where my brother was sitting with Charlie after we had got our food. “Hi brother,” Sam said to us as we slid into our seats. “Charlie and I were just discussing what house we wanted you to be in. We were thinking the destroyers or the champions. The underdogs and the Serpents don’t suit you. Charlie and I are in the champions, but we think the destroyers would like you to.” “Huh?” We all say (except for Midna who was playing her device). “It is obvious,” Midna said, looking up from her game, a sound like “GAME OVER” came from it not long after. “In this school there are 4 different groups called houses. Everyone in this school is part of a house.” “Well, she is correct and I am sorry I forgot to tell you 6 about it.” Sam explained as Midna went back to her game. We finished dinner and went back into our dorm. “How is this going to work?” Asked Ben as we held our pyjamas. “Don’t look.” Said Lily. We all turned around and got dressed. We hopped into bed and fell asleep quickly. I am running down the street full speed away from the terrors that are chasing me. Suddenly, the world erupts with fire and smoke and turns into darkness. I feel myself falling, further and further from the dreams that haunt me. I wake up and gasp, sweating in my bed. I look around myself and reasure myself that this is reality. That is the same nightmare that I had last night. Suddenly, I realise something. Lily isn’t in her bed. Wait, why is there 2 shapes in Ben’s bed? I realise what is happening and put the covers over my head and try to go to sleep. I wake up to someone shaking me. It is Ben. “Aggghhhhhhhhh!!!” I scream as I crawl back in my bed. “Peter, is everything all right? It is morning time now.” He says in a soft, comforting voice. Perhaps last night was a dream? “W-what happened last night with you and...” I can’t finish my sentence as Ben clamps his hands over my mouth “Don’t mention that to anyone.” he murmurs as I hear the noises of everyone getting up. We got ready and left to breakfast. When we got there we discussed the day and what we are doing. “I think we have maths and battle classes today.” Said Rose. When we got to maths we found our class and teacher waiting for us. As we went through the lesson I found out a bit about her. Her name is Mrs. Take (although the people in our class call her Mrs. Ache as she makes their brains hurt) and she controls the element of knowledge. I also found something else out. Midna and Harry are genii. I knew Harry was smart, as I have been his friend since we were toddlers, but I didn’t know he was this smart. We blazed through math although the only people answering questions was Harry and Midna.
