Ch. IV

The Panther Clan

Alix's fangs press against my throat, and panic filled my insides.

I clutched my fists together as I looked up to the ceiling.

Instead, something caught my eye.

A black ear. Sitting right on Alix's head.

"Wh- what? What are you?" I ask, lifting my hand fluidly and gently towards his ear.

"Nothing you should concern yourself with." He said, tongue slipping up my neck.

I shiver, lowering my hand for just a second.

Then, I abruptly yank his ear, and he's stunned.

He curses aloud as I grab the door knob and open the door

Why didn't I try this earlier?

I run, picking up my pace as I dash down the empty hallway.

Then, instead of making it through the next door, I smack the ground, face first.

Alex on top of me, growling.

I roll over and rub my left eye, to see it covered in blood.

Alix wasn't Alix.

No, he was an animal.

In a white puff of smoke, Alix wasn't an animal anymore.

In fact, it wasn't Alix at all. It was Hiroki, as he gasped at my bleeding cut just below my eye.

"She's hurt!" He yells to someone behind him. "And there's a black eye!"

"Alright." Alix says. "Get off of my female."

Hiroki jumps away from me as he turns back into an animal again.

He slinks away like a cat.

A big, black cat, with Hiroki's original gold eyes.

"Panthers." I mutter.

I look up at Alix.

"Yes, we're panthers." He says.

"Like werewolves?" I ask.

"No. Like Beasts. Remember the story "Beauty and The Beast"?"

"Yes."

"Then you get the point."

Alix extends his hand out to me, and I take it, standing and brushing away the dirt.

"We should fix that." Alix says.

"No. Not until you tell me what the hell is going on."

"Alright." Alix says. "Follow me." I follow Alix through the door, and it leads outside.

"This," He says, gesturing around to the neighborhood. "Is the Panther clan. We are Beasts. Half human, half animal."

I take a good look around the neighborhood, but this time, I see something different.

Tails and ears.

On everyone.

The same women who were gossiping earlier, and the children that ran around earlier...they all had tails and ears.

No wonder, when I tried to find this place, I got lost.

"Don't freak out." He said. He pointed to a nearby house.

It was a plain house, with a black door and a white exterior.

"That's my home. Where we will mate, and where you will become my bride."

"Wait." I say. "Did you just say...mate?"

"Yes."

"As in, what werekin do?"

"As in, I want you to have my kids."

"No." I said.

"It's not your choice."

"I'm having the baby, so I believe it is."

"Ah, man." He said, taking a sigh.

"What?"

"I love women." Alix takes my hand, and we leave the building.

"Ouch." I say, as I cover my left eye with my hand.

"We're going to fix that." Alix says, leading me out to a house.

Everyone looks at me, and falls silent. Alix squeezes my hand tighter, looking down at me.

"She's a beauty." Someone says.

"I wanna mate with her." Someone else says.

"I think she belongs to the clan leader."

"What a hot human."

The words fly around, and soon everything is bustling again.

Alix leads me into a house, and as the door closes behind me, I notice the medicine everywhere.

This must be their doctor.

"Wait." I say.

"Yes?" Alix says.

"So, you're telling me, that everyone here is a panther, and I just so happen to slip up into a nest of them. All living together."

"Need me to explain it more?Ch.4

"Need me to explain it more?"

"No..."

Alix looks over at the island in the kitchen, and there lays a panther.

"Hey, Dylan!" Alix calls, and rouses the panther from its sleep.

Dylan turns into a human, with a white puff of smoke.

"Huh?" He asks. "What is it?" He sets his sleepy brown eyes on me, and they fly open.

"Where'd you find her?" He asks, coming to check me out.

He lifts my arms over my head, and examines my slim build. His eyes crawl over my waist, and from my waist, my cleavage and from my cleavage, my left eye.

"That has to hurt." Dylan says.

I scowl. "It does!"

I shove him out of the way, and begin to open cabinets.

"Where's your painkillers?" I ask.

"And your bandages, and your alcohol?"

"Second drawer, third drawer, and eighth drawer." Dylan replies.

I open the eighth drawer and drag out a bottle of medicinal alcohol. Then, a bottle of tequila.

"What's that for?" Alix asks.

"I have a low pain tolerance." I say. "Besides, I don't wanna be here."

I open the tequila bottle and take a long drink, before looking at Dylan and Alix.

"Well?" I say. "Aren't one of you going to play "Doctor" with me?"

I take another long drink as Dylan stands beside me, and gets to work.

He places a cloth on my cut, and I cry out in pain.

"Sorry, sorry." Dylan mutters. I take a longer drink of tequila and before I know it, the bottle is almost empty.

"You have a high intoxication tolerance, though." Dylan says.

"No, I don't I say, before everything gets hazy.

"Whoa, gosh." I say, clutching the counter I sat on.

"Oh, she's drunk." Alix says.

"Good." Dylan says, placing the cloth back on my cheek.

He continues to check my black eye as the day fades away.

I wince as I wake up, placing a hand to my head. I look around, and Alix lays in bed beside me. I stretch my legs, but stop when I feel a gooey splotch between my legs. I lift the covers, and look down.

A white, sticky package of *** lays between my legs, and I shriek.

"Alix!" I smack Alix on the arm, and he wakes up.

"What?" He asks.
