The Man with the stick - chapter 3.5

The date was 25th August 1997

2 weeks after Sydney's molestation has been exposed, she faced some harsh backlash and some friendly support but what kept her attention was that one business man who saved her from being further corrupted.

She didn't have any affection towards George as she mostly never tries to strike a conversation with him, but what did kept her mind boggling was that she never knew what George's intentions were to get close to her family as he would always have a different face when he was talking to us and even if she were to pick up some suspicion clues about the man, she mostly never had the guts to act on them.

A couple weeks earlier she realised that her younger brother 'Roger' had been coming home quite late, as he used to reach home at 3 pm but now he comes home 3 hours later and sometimes with a strong scent of mint and lime from his shirt, oddly enough the business man also came a few minutes after Roger went back to his room and he was oddly treated as if he was already a part of this household but what caught her sights was not his presence but it was the candied lime mint tablets inside his pockets when he handed them out to both Sydney and Roger.

Sydney denies his offer and goes back to her room while little Roger keeps on munching on those little tablets with a weird expression on his face.

The business man then strikes a conversation with her mom again as if they were newly weds which made Sydney realize that her father 'Greg' had been coming home very late at night ever since George had appeared but for the past 4 days Greg hasn't come home yet and it seems that George was getting closer and closer with Sydney's mother 'Helena' then soon after 30 mins later.

It was quiet, very quiet.

There was no autistic screaming from Roger's bedroom.

No sounds of the television from her parents bedroom.

Not even a drop of water from the bathroom came to break the silence.

That's when Sydney realized that when she walked down that stairs she was trapped like an insect inside a fly-trap.

She was immediately grabbed hold of, by a man behind her who was wearing a Balaclava which covered his whole face and then afterwards another man came to help his companion carry the girl who was struggling to survive like a fish on land.

She was then carried away by the 2 men until she reached the van where she met her brother on the lap of a disgusting pedophile and her mother choking on George's Stick

Sydney wasn't shocked with what she had seen however, she was merely curious to why he did this.

George replies after Helena finished cleaning up his crouch. "Dear Sydney, if you wanted answers you should have taken action with all the clues which I intentionally gave you! The bloody napkin, the alleyway which I used after I left your property, and many more but you were a special case. You never did anything and that vulnerability was just something which gave me the desire to go back to my old and dirty ways."

And so when he gave the answer which she deserved he continued to harass her mother Infront of her until it was her turn to face against The Man with a Stick.
