Ep2

Asher Addison POV

I quickly walked to the restaurant, knowing that I was so late to my blind date. Fu*k the date. I had just seen Bianca again, for the first time in three years.

"Good evening,Miss Anderson." I smiled politely at my date, then glanced at the table Bia sat with her date.

"Hi Asher! It's just Debbie." The woman exclaimed, hugging me. I pushed her back, amazed at her boldness. I felt the heat of Bia's gaze on my back, but when I turned around, she'd looked away.

I spoke as less as possible with Debbie, aware that Hardin was touching Bia from time to time, sending her suggestive glances.

I saw Bia laugh at something Hardin said. She looked exactly the same as before, if not better, with her slitted amber eyes, the soft, silky ash grey hair which she dyed on her sixteenth birthday.

Atleast her sense of fashion had changed, from those sweats and hoodies to a yellow sundress. Her eyes were outlined with kohl, her lips tinted with paint.

"Listen, Debbie, I need to use the restroom." I said impatiently as Bia got up with her date.

"Oh okay." The woman stopped talking for the first time in thirty minutes.

I got up, discreetly following the pair down to the entrance where a valet was waiting with two cars. Hardin gripped her waist, pulling her close to him. I growled under my breath when he attempted to kiss her.

"Oops." Bia's voice came, and she slid her hands in between their mouths. I stifled a laugh at the befuddled expression on Hardin's face.

"It was nice meeting you, but I'm not interested in getting married or anything. Tell my mom that I saw through her plan... again."

Bia headed towards the place I was hiding, and before I could run, I saw her face next to me.

"B-Bia." I stuttered, scared. After all she was my best friend, and I knew for a fact that she was proficient in martial arts.

"Asher." Her eyes softened for a second, then hardened again.

"Really Asher, it's better if we keep our distance. I'll be leaving."

My heart hurt at her cold statement. Sure she was my best friend, and I had a crush on her for years, but why was she ignoring me?

Was it because of that girl I dated back then?

I pulled Bia back to me,kissing her hard. I let her go when I was younger, and this time... well, that wasn't going to happen.

Bia didn't react to the kiss, so I bit her lips gently. She hissed in pain, which gave me entrance to her mouth.

"Asher!" She mumbled against my lips, saliva dripping down her mouth, her lips swollen and bleeding.

"Bianca Carmilla Russo-Collins. I'll be damned if I let you go this time." I growled, hugging her.

She was stiff against me, her body hard and unyielding. I buried my face in her fragrant hair, refusing to let go.

"Oh Asher."
