The Queen is back

It's already been 6 days already and everything is the same as usual.It's unexpectedly quite.Kate's parents didn't come to visit her as well.It's not like she care about them but since they were the one who brought her here they should atleast check on her once.

The next day is the biggest day.The press conference that is going to be held for announcing her identity to the world is going to be on tomorrow.The whole villa is relentless.The security is tightened and everyone is busy preparing for tomorrow while our Kate is drinking her coffee watching television.

In these six days nothing changed actually.

Ryan wakes early in the morning and go to his work while Mic comes in the evening.There are only some maids left there.Her relatives too didn't come after her first day there.She didn't care too.She has never taken them as her family.Neither her uncle and aunts nor her parents.They are strangers to her.Either she need time to accept them or she will never accept them.

Time passed very fast and the next day has come.Many reporters are waiting for the news that the Shades family is going to give.

After all it's been 17 years since they have made their last public appearence.The crowd is restlessly whispering and gossiping about the reasons for the meet.The famous publishers of the whole country was invited.

Other than the five royal families many other big families and influential families were present there too.

Kate was in her room getting ready.She was wearing a simple makeup with pink gloss lipstick.She was wearing a long strap ombre red dress with red high heels that gave off a noble vibe.Her hair was tied up by letting her black hair being let down,curled.She was looking at her blue eyes in the mirror."Looks like it's time to take these off".Kate took off the eye lenses.She doesn't have a natural blue eyes instead she got a pitch black eyes with a visible silver line around her pupil.She thought that would attract unnecessary attention so she always used a eye lens.

She heard a knock on the door.It was Mic and he was there to call her down.Kate nodded and followed him.Everyone's eyes now got fixed on the lady who was unfamiliar to them.

The crowd started murmuring again.She was like a goddess that they can't take their eyes off her.

'Who is this girl? She looks so beautiful.Why is coming with Second young master Shades? Is she his fiancee? Is this meeting held to announce their engagement?'

All kinds of possibilities were discussed there.The crowd was disturbed by a voice

"Cough cough".The crowd became silent again and looked at the direction of the voice.

It is the one only head of the Shades family, Kate's father, Augustus Shades.

"Thank you everyone present here for attending this conference in such short notice.I'm very glad that you all came.I want today's news to reach every corners of the country and the whole world too.You all must be curious on why I called you all. Well, It's for announcing the heir of the Shades family".

His voice was heard in every corner of the hall.The complete silence broke and everyone started murmuring again.

'What did he mean? Heir? Isn't the heir of the Shades already dead? Are they going to announce young master Ryan as their heir? Other than him who is suitable for the position'.

The Shades family controls the military of the country and Ryan is a General in the military.He was the youngest general in the history and made many achievements at a young age.The people of the country admires him for his achievements and greatness and respects him a lot.

The again gathered gossips were disturbed by another person."Yes.Please let us introduce our daughter, the heiress of the Shades family, Katherine Shades" said Alexandra Shades, Katherine's mother.

Every lights now got focused on the girl who was standing in the direction of her eye sight.

'So this is not young master Shades fiancee but instead their family's heiress?But how can this be possible?'

"I know you all must be confused since it was told that my daughter died in the 'accident' 17 years ago but the Shades never confirmed the news so it is a baseless rumor.She was alive all along accepting the training of the heir" jer voice sounded majestic.It could make everyone nod at her words without even realizing it.As expected from the Frozen queen.She was a general in the past too and because of her cold nature she was given that name.

She had a great audience control ability.She almost has the same look as her daughter.Kate has the same hair colour and features of her mother but her eye colour is like her father.Her father has the same pitch black eye with a silver line though that is not that visible.He has dark brown hair while Alexandra has light brown eye.

Many questions were started to come from the reporters.But the only question that was lingering in all of their minds was 'where was she all along when other heirs were known long before?'

Looks like it's time for me to intervene and show them that the queen is back.

When Augustus open his mouth to give then answer for their questions the clicking of heels sound cut off him.Kate was walking towards him.Augustus and Alexandra understood that she wants to answer the question.Though they let her but a small hesitation was shown in the whole family's face because this answer decides whether they are telling the truth or not and whether the people should believe and accept her.

Kate took the mic and said,"Welcome everyone and thank you so much for attending this conference accepting our invitation.I think you all must be confused and shocked by the news that was released today.Not only the people present here but the people of the whole nation.So you all must be thinking that I died before 17 years but since I'm here as you can see I'm still alive" her words were cut off.

'So what took you these much years to show up?' a voice was heard from the crowd of reporters.Every other reporters nodded as they too wanted to ask the same question.

Kate smiled and said,"My birth was not a happy event.It brought many misfortune to the family whether it was that 'accident' or any other things happening in the country till this day.So as to compensate for these things I thought I can only do something by becoming a deserving heir, a true ruler that can take care country.

The Shades family maintains the military forces which is known by all.If I have to take over the family I should be more trained and so I took special training.After these years when I come back I don't want people to neglect me instead of welcoming me.I was not running away instead I was training so that I won't run away nor should my people".

Her words ringed in everyone's ears.It was like a speech given by a knight who would save his country even with his life.Everyone's eyes were fixed on her without moving.It was more than convincing to them.It was not the best explanation but since it is from her everyone only nodded at her.Her voice was sincere and domineering without a single guilt.It was like she was taking an oath in presence of the gods.She was also indirectly telling that she would make her country bloom and she will be a great ruler if she was chosen.

It was not over confidence because every single heir has the rights to become the next King/Queen.They were given training since young to become not only the heir but also the future ruler of the country.

She spoke like a true politician but it sounded like a knight's oath to them.She would indeed make a great ruler. thought Alexandra.

After asking a few more question which was not that important all the reporters started to leave.Kate was introduced to some business partners and some came to see her on their own who were from some influential family. Soon they too started to depart leaving only the five families there.Since the other heir left early only the heads and some elders of the family was there.

"How were you these years Kate?"asked Augustus looking at her with a warm smile on his face with Alexandra near him who was also smiling.

"Very well.All thanks to you.What about you Mr.&Mrs Shades?" asked Kate looking at them with a glass of wine in her hand which she only took a sip.

Her words were like daggers to them which pierced into their heart.They both looked at each other and gave a small but bitter smile. As expected she didn't accept them as her parents.After all she was their daughter.She would have the same pride, arrogance and stubbornness as them.

"We were doing well dear" said Alexandra in a warm tone unlike her always cold tone.

"Of course you would be doing well without me" she said looking at the pair coming toward her.Her parents sighed and looked at the same couple.It was the King and the Queen.The king and queen both has the same power in their country and both the King and Queen can be chosen from the heirs.

The aura of a ruler is not something that can be underestimated.Their presence can be sensed even from a long distance.Kate bowed to them like a bow given to the King though she didn't want to.Nobody in the world deserves that bow from her.She can slightly bow at them considering that they are her elders but since they are the King and Queen she had no choice.She didn't want to make a scene at their first meet.She may need their help in the near future too.

Francis Diaz and Helana Diaz smiled looking at her.(A woman can chose either to keep her husband's surname or her own surname after their marriage in their country).She greeted them and everyother head and elders of the families.

After that she was asked to leave and she did the same.She went straight to her room since she was tired.After she left, a meeting was arranged in the meeting room of the Shades.

All the important members of the five families along with Ryan and Michael was asked to come there.It was almost mid night.

In the meeting room as asked everyone was present.Looking at all of them Francis started to speak"I think you all must be aware of the reason for the meeting.These 17 years were rather calm and peaceful but we can't expect the same since the fifth heir was announced as well.By now the whole world must be aware of her presence which includes 'them'.

This is the time where we should be more on guard.We can't be careless about even a single thing.Everyone, keep an eye on all the five kids.Especially Katherine.We can't let the accident that happened 17 years ago to repeat again.Do you all understand?" Everyone nodded at him with a serious face without uttering a single word.The meeting was dispersed and everyone left to their house and rooms.

Sitting on the balcony with a chocolate bar in one hand a person was hearing their whole conversation in the bluetooth.

So what exactly happened 17 years ago and who is the one they are guarding against? Just how powerful is he that even the five families can't defeat?
