"Thank you for the ride" Alicia says as she comes out of the taxi

"Welcome miss" The taxi winds up the window and drives forward.

"Am I supposed to be home so early, it's just my third day" Alicia mutters. I'm just worried about mom, she'd be alone, with no one to stay by her side. "Yieee, let's give her a surprise visit

Alicia opens the main gate with a spare key, she walks inside, closing the door carefully and silently.

She walks to the door, opening it silently. Alicia chuckles as she closes the door behind her. she runs to the doorway of the living room with a smile on her face, calling out "Surprise!"

"Alicia"

Alicia slowly brings down her smile "Mom...", "What is happening here?"

"Alicia, it's not..."

"it's not what I think?..", "WHY IS HE HERE!!!, MOM"

"Is this how you talk to your mother" Alicia's father 'Daniel' asks Alicia with a scowl on his face.

"Is this how you treat life?" Alicia laughs

"How dare you talk back to me and not answer my question" Daniel shouts

"How dare you come back into our lives" Alicia shouts, Alicia's mom looked confused because Alicia recognized her father.

"Alicia, you recognize him" Alicia's mom speaks with happiness, Alicia looks at her mom with disgust

"Mom, What is wrong with you?", "is this something to be happy about?. Alicia points at Daniel with shaking hands, "This man!, married you JUST BECAUSE OF A DEAL", "and you are happy I recognize him, are you serious!"

"yes I saw his photo in your bedroom, I wanted to see the face of the man who is a torment in my life", "so that one day, when I see him and recognize him, I would move closer" Alicia moves closer to Daniel, "and tell him right in his face!", "that he disgusts me!"

Alicia's mom walks to Alicia, she holds Alicia's hand, draws her away from Daniel and slaps her "He is not 'this man', he's your father, the man that without him, you would not be in this life"

"and who said I wanted this life", "did I say that?" Alicia cries, "If you want to live happily ever after with man, then leave me out of it",

"Happily ever after!" Alicia forces a smile, Alicia walks to Daniel "You should have plans for a baby, while you're at it" She pats his shoulders.

"Alicia! wait" Alicia walks out as her mom calls out. She opens the main gate in anger and hurriedly walks to the main road, to get a taxi.

A taxi drives towards her and she stops it with a hand sign "Taxi"

The Taxi stops, she walks to the side as the front window winds down "Sorry miss, this taxi is taken"

Alicia moves to the back seat's window, "Please I am in a hurry, I need to go back to the university" Alicia speaks hurriedly as the window winds down

Alicia freezes as she sees the taxi's customer
