Chapter 3: Friends?

"Hey it's time to wake up," Asheru said. I opened my eyes slightly and looked to my left. There was a small cute boy with blue eyes, silver hair, and a black coat staring at me.

I sat up in my bed scared. "W-who are you..." I said. The boy got closer to me. "What it's me asheru..." He said. I was confused. "Sorry to startle, This is my human form," He said while he looks into my eyes. "W-wait, Demons have human forms?" I said. "Of Course! How do you think we go around without getting caught..." He said. I thought about it. "So your not inside of me anymore?" I said. "Yea It takes my whole body to become a human model. But I can't really stay like this for long. After about 24 hours, I turn back into slime and It takes about 5 hours to regenerate my human model." He said. Damn, that was a mouthful. I looked at the time and it was 6:34. About 30 minutes until class starts.

"Anyways, I'm going to class with you if that's ok?" He said. "Y-yea, that's fine..." I said. I got out of bed and did my morning routine. I got dressed in my normal clothes and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a snack out of my fridge and walked out of my apartment. Asheru was waiting outside smoking then he looked at me. "You ready?" He said. I nodded then we started to walk down the sidewalk. We saw a crime scene where I ate someone. "Huh, we've should've hidden the body," Asheru said. "I guess so," I said. We have arrived at school and we went to our class. The girls were looking at Asheru like he was a s*xy model. Me and him sat together in the back. Class started with a substitute so we only have to do missing or late work. Luckily I finished my work so I don't have to do anything. The class ended then we had to go to the gym. God did I hate the gym. We're gonna play dodgeball. The game started and Most of us got out including me. It was Asheru vs. Kani, the jock of the school. Kani smirked and threw the ball as fast as he could at asheru. We heard a loud sound. Asheru caught the ball and threw it at light speed at Kani's face. It connected then Kani flew back a feet.

A whistle was blown and the coach ran to Kani. Kani's face was bruised and bloody. I actually felt good because Kani was a god damn jackass. We got into the locker room. "Bro that was amazing!" I said to Asheru. "That was only a little power..." He said and chuckled. I chuckled too. School was over and we were walking home. "Arekkusu!" Yelled Kārī. I looked behind me and saw her running towards me. "Woah! You guys are fast!" She said. She panted and sighed. "Arekkusu, I wanted to tell you something," Kārī said. I looked her into her eyes. "Arekkusu we gotta go," Asheru said. "O-oh sorry! I'll talk to you tomorrow ok?" Kārī said. I nodded and she ran off.

I walked back home with Asheru. I got into my apartment and plopped down on my bed facing up. Then asheru walked into my room. "Hey um, Arekkusu..." He said. "yeah what's up?" I said as I look at him. He puts a hand next to me and gets close up to me. "Kārī was a demon," He said. I laid there surprised. "W-what!?" I said. Asheru turned into slime and went up and in my ear. "Just go to sleep I'll talk to you about it in the morning." He said. I laid there unable to sleep. I guess tomorrow it is.
