Chapter 4 : Gone far away

I walked down the stairs with my backpack and suitcase, heading straight to the kitchen despite the silent glares in my back. I could see that Martha and Andre were worried. I put the sunglasses over my cap and gave them a big hug " You should cheer up . Its not like I'm dead or something. We can still talk and hang out , but not now of course ".

We smiled sadly at each other when Andre shoved a cute little pink bag in front of me. I was taken aback but Martha touched my cheek, " Don't mind him Annie, We'll miss you but your right, we'll stay in touch "

I could feel the tears when Martha put something in my backpack. I didn't have time to check and walked back into the living room, trying my best to look dejected. I stood there and met his cold unflinching gaze. Slowly i walked out, looking at him as he stood there watching me leave.

I had told Charlotte to wait for me outside the villa and not draw attention to herself. I made sure to keep my head down but after looking over my shoulder again, I was startled to see him still watching me ***Does he want me gone that badly? Too bad , I don't wanna be around you either***.

I was about to leave when I changed my mind and turned to face him. I put my two middle fingers in the air and screamed, " F\*\*k you ". That felt exhilarating and made it out of the villa, forcing myself not to skip towards the deep blue sports car.

I quickly entered and sighed a breath of relief as Charlotte put my stuff in the back . We looked at each other and started laughing. Soon the car started and we were off, " JJ found this awesome place I think you'll love and it as much as I do. He's waiting for us there right now ".

I smiled to myself as I looked out the window, " I think I'm gonna love it too ". I watched the view and felt myself dozing off. For the first time in a really really long I felt like I could let my guard down.

Cameron's POV :

I ran my hands through my hair as I walked about in my study. I'd finally gotten rid of her but I had to keep reminding myself that she'd be back since she was technically my life.

I didn't even realize she was leaving till she screamed at me from downstairs. She was gone before I could register what had happened. My life had become a nightmare four months ago when I found myself sleeping next to her.

Without really thinking about it, I'd got a contract and here we are now. Mystery didn't always cause trouble, everything she did or didn't do felt wrong and simply irritated me.

I sat down, trying to think of what to do next when Darren walked in, " Master, we still have a meeting with the business partners in an hour ". I didn't want to hear it so I waved him off.

I couldn't get the image off her crying face out of my head and sighed, " Maybe when she comes back to beg me to let her stay, I'll consider it ". Fixing myself up and walking out the door But right now, you're the least of my worries
