Chapter 3 : Hubby's home

" What's wrong you dummy? You called me to hear you cry or something "? I laughed and looked at my shoes and tried to gather myself " Not exactly, I need to use money so I wanted your permission. Its not like its gonna matter. I'm buying a house , whether you want to let me or not".

I could hear him sigh, " Is it far from Disguise's place "? I forced myself not to scream as I shook my head Why does everyone keep asking that ? Was I that clingy ? It was my turn to sigh, " Not its not. I just wanted to tell you ".

The line was silent and I knew he was debating, " You'd better not lie to me. I have a place in mind. Be there with Charlotte in when "? I could barely contain my excitement as I jumped to my feet, " About two hours, but we are going ice cream making after ".

I could sense the smile on his face as he spoke, "Sometimes, I think you forget you're a star " Feeling proud of myself, I do a little twirl " I didn't forget. I'm just so awesome , I blend in ".

The first step was done, now I needed to get ready to leave. I walked back into my room and began to carefully pack the stuff I came with I don't need that ice cube thinking I want his stuff

I was already done packing my clothes so I moved to the other rooms I remember entering. I packed all my things, careful to return the rooms to how they used to look before.

It took a while but I was done and just in time too. I could already hear Cameron's angry voice downstairs.

Looking in the mirror, I took a deep breath and smiled Its show time .

I opened the door and ran downstairs. I tried to hug him but was pushed away...as expected. I looked hurt and confused when he started yelling again " How could you hurt my maid ? Do not think that you're empty gestures will work ".

Forcing myself to remain scared, I started crying " You took the maid's side after she insulted me and I really meant it. I did love you "! Barf back into my mouth . He looked upset, " Throw the her into her room until she learns her lesson "

Going as planned, I crumbled to the floor and started crying my eyes out " You can't do this. You'd lock me up for a maid? You're being so unreasonable ". I knew that hit a spot and he looked down at me with menacing eyes " I'll show you how unreasonable I can be. Throw her out ".

Resisting the urge to dance at my awesome acting, I held unto his leg, trying to look as miserable and heartbroken as ever, " You can't do this. Where will I go "? He looked at me like I was some sort of pest and I wanted to bite him, " I think I just did. You have ten minutes to pack your bags or I help you do it ".

With that, he was gone. I sat there for an extra 15 seconds as the servants slowly dispersed. I walked dejectedly to my room and closed the door. I heard my phone ring and realized it was Charlotte, " Hey girl, you ready yet. I'm almost there and I think you're gonna love the new place Jeremy has in mind ".

Washing off my mascara, I laugh " I'll be out in about 5 minutes. Don't draw any attention though ". I decided to take a bath and it was really refreshing I should get an Oscar for that acting .

I looked through my clothes and decided on a baby pink turtle neck, high waist black jeans and high tops. I picked my glasses and white basketball hat. Careful to look dejected, I picked my bags and walked out. Freedom, here I come
