Going to a Japanese restaurant was the first thing he thought of when it comes to eastern food but not being taken by a rich and famous man.

"Go on and order whatever you like." Jeon Jungkook is sitting in front of him and is treating him to a restaurant he never thought he would step in to.

"Just green tea.." He orders something cheap, something that's the closest to his wallet.

Jungkook however went big and ordered wagyu, varieties of sushi and a bowl of ramen that he had guessed the boy could have liked. "It's alright. It's my treat so it's best if you take what you are given by me"

"Mister Jungkook I don't think I deserve this.. you don't owe me anything anymore.."

"You are correct but I am the one that insisted on us eating in this restaurant so it is only fair that it is my treat." Even if it makes sense, he doesn't want to but then again he doesn't have enough to cover everything on the table.

"I want to know you better. Were your parents angry of your absence last night?" Jungkook starts with the obvious.

"They don't live with me. They died two years ago in a car accident."

"My condolences." He immediately apologizes despite him not caring. In fact, it is a better position than he thought. "I apologize for bringing up bitter memories."

"It's fine. Can I ask? Why do you live alone? Isn't it lonely? I think finding a lover would be easy for you.." Questions that surged his mind came out one by one. He was absolutely curious to ask what's not in his Wikipedia page.

"It seems that you have recently found out about my identity. In fact I'm very surprised you had realized only now."

Taehyung nods "I don't usually pay attention until someone points something out to me."

"I would actually preferred if you didn't know. It is actually very nice to have someone as a friend not for something that they think could give them the advantage"

Taehyung bits his lips "I don't—"

"I know." Jungkook smiles "You can calm down. I know you don't have that intention."

His face lids up in happiness. He's glad his action wasn't taken the wrong way "I too want to know you better..!"

"Then we're both equal." Jungkook chuckles. "I do not have a lover and I prefer the solitary lifestyle." He explains.

It wasn't like he's going to tell him his real reason as a serial killer. "My parents too have died in an accident. Might I say it was a bit shocking at that time."

"Oh. I'm sorry.." They're both in the same boat. Maybe that's why they feel slightly attracted to one another.

"You can come over at any time in a single button. It would be more eventful would it not?" Jungkook slips his phone number across the table, grabbing the boy's palm and puts it inside. "In fact, I want you to come over again tonight."

"Tonight?" He remembers tomorrow to be a day off but yet again things are a bit too sudden for him to give a confirmation "I'll have to see if Jimin has plans to invite me out tonight.. He usually does in a Friday night"

"The previous 'e-boy' that was walking with you?" Jungkook frowns "And here I thought you to be a shrinking violet. Who knew you are more of a chipper."

"I wouldn't say I have a lot of friends.. I think I just prefer to have a couple few that I would like to trust. One of them is Jimin. Despite his appearance, he's the nicest guy I know."

The way he smiles as he mentions his name is unsettling for Jungkook's heart. Perhaps the one that's supposed to be his prey feels taken. "Would you give your time for another sleepover?"

But to him status and wealth doesn't mean anything if it means to put Jimin a step behind. Jungkook seems to be using it to his free will in any conditions. It's unsettling to be in the situation.

Taehyung shook his head "He usually gets mad when I refuse.."

"I see." Jungkook comments. "That's not very nice of him now is it?" And Taehyung will fail to see the devilish smile behind those dark eyes.

Things were very odd. He was let very easily to his home but was told to prepare his clothings and toothbrush for the next day. Jungkook seems to be positive that Jimin won't invite him out tonight and promises to pick him up tonight.

But not to make things more suspicious as it is, he promises to also take him to Jimin just in case he wants to go with the event.

The text message went on as time says it's 8 o'clock. A convenient time where they now would be at the karaoke place.

But even if the plan was canceled, even if his clothes were already packed in, he didn't still want to go to Jungkook's. Not only would it give trouble to someone but he wouldn't feel all home sweet home. He was sure rumors would come out soon that he'll be seen as his personal sugar baby.

He decided to close his eyes until there was another text.

^^^Good evening, this is Jeon Jungkook.^^^

^^^Are you free or did you ended up in the event with your friend?^^^

His eyes widen. How did he get his number? Maybe he has that rich and powerful connection he might never know.

Taehyung

How did you get me number?

^^^Very easy. I found your number in the form you gave last for the fashion agency named ibisco.^^^

Taehyung

Wow. Is that yours?

^^^Yes it is. So are you free or in the event?^^^

It is a bit embarrassed to be exposed for applying to the fashion industry and completely fail because he wasn't tall enough at that time.

A few text later Jungkook had said that he's coming to pick him up. Taehyung can't lie big, it feels like a big sin that his momma always says not to do.

And he tells that he's home.

So the next obvious thing that happened was to wait for Jungkook to come pick him.

Anxious fills up to the bottom of his heart, the serial killer with an anonymous identity is still on the run and for all he could guess it could be Jungkook where his status would let things slip over very quickly.

Those suspicions would actually be very true but he had a hoped to be false.

The sound of the car echoes in front of his house, the appearance of the clean and slick car stops by completely dominating the other cars in it's worth.

"Are you prepared?" And of course the man that came only to him smiles properly as he leads his hand and prepares the entrance for him. "To the event or another night stay?"

"Well.. I was thinking neither.." Taehyung's answer makes him frown.

"I take that the event was canceled. Please do come for another night stay. It makes me comfortable for another body to sleep in the same building. Makes a little less ghost like don't you agree?"

Taehyung agrees but he doesn't want to stay in this man's house "I'm fine.. I think I would just be a bother."

"Petal" The newborn nickname sends chills over his spine but hot cheeks "It's fine. Let me spoil you for your kindness."

The reason would be Taehyung suspect for him to not be good news but of course he couldn't say that "Last time..?"

"Maybe." He chuckles "Why did your friend canceled the plan if I may ask?" It seems like he had just the same question as anyone would.

"I don't know. This usually doesn't happen on Friday but he said he was busy."

"That's very odd. I didn't expect that." Jungkook comments with eyes confused as the latter. "What do you think had supposedly happen?"

Taehyung suspects him, he's still not done suspecting. If the worst were to happen the he wouldn't be able to forgive himself.
