Ella plots something but failed

Patrick’s about to go home when Ella came into his office, his mood quickly changes from good day to a bad day.

“Hi cookie, I called you in the morning but you didn’t pick up and you didn’t even bother to return the call” She said casting a sweet smile to him.

“I was busy the whole day Ella and you know I’m doing something urgent for the CEO,” He said coldly at her. “Anyways, what are you doing here?” He asked

“Can a girlfriend visit her boyfriend at work?” She replied flushing him her sweetest smile which was just ignored by Patrick. Ella walks toward him and wraps her arms in his waist “I’m sorry cookie, I’ll make it up to you tonight” She replied seductively at him

“Ella, everything's not about sex. I’m leaving now, aren’t you?” He replied not having the slight intention of taking her home.

“Cookie, aren’t you taking me with you?” She said with puppy eyes

“How did you get here? You drive your car, right?” He sharply replied at her

“I came by cab; my car broke down so I’ve sent it in the service center” She lied

“Then why not take a cab back home?” He replied walking towards the door of his office

Ella runs after him and hugs him from behind.

“Cookie, I’m sorry! Come on please don’t be so cold to me” Ella pleaded; her action attracts the employees attention who looks at their direction.

“Ella, we are in the office. Will you please let go of me?” He replied annoyed at her

“I won’t unless you forgive me and take me with you” She replied. Of course, you have no choice but to take me. Why this guy is a hard work now she thought to herself but quite confused with his coldness to her. Normally, Patrick can’t take it if they have arguments and would quickly pursue her.

“Okay, I’ll drop you home and that’s it” He replied then takes the elevator tailed by Ella behind. Upon reaching the ground floor, his phone beeps. Without hesitation, he unlocks his phone using his fingerprint and reads the message excitedly. Ella saw the smile in his face but ignores it.

“Hi baby, I just came from the Ace Bar. Our office looks exactly the same, glad none of my Family tries to rearrange the place. It’s so hard to work there without you, I’ll never get used to it. Anyways, I’m off to North Vancouver Cemetery, I’ll see you in a bit. I love you so much Luke! Wait for me okay?”

“Can’t drive you home, I have more important things to do,” He said leaving Ella in the parking lot and quickly drives away.

Ella was left speechless looking at the receding car. The **** with this guy she thought to herself. Ella has

no option but to take the cab.

“Not that I mind but I thought you’ll be spending the night with Patrick?” Bryan asked

“Shut up just pleasure me, baby,” She said then goes down on him

Patrick’s sure now that he has fallen out of love with Ella. She had cheated before and he felt that she’s doing it again. The love that once he deeply had for her has now vanished. He reached the cemetery, how would I see her in this huge property? Laughing to his stupidity but something in him says that he will see her. He parks in front of one the flower shop near the main gate.’ This is the best place to park as I can see all the cars coming inside whilst for any customer that will buy flowers’ he said to himself. Still in high hopes where giving up is not an option for him right now when a vehicle parks in front of his car and a woman stepped out of the driver’s seat and went inside the flower shop. His heart suddenly beats fast upon seeing her, he can’t explain why but he also went inside the shop. Staring at the woman who looks familiar, he tries to remember where he saw her. In the counter, Sydney’s paying the item when she threw a sharp side glance to him. In a snap, he remembers the beautiful woman driving a Volvo this morning. He quickly paid the cashier and left without taking the change.

“Hi baby, I’m here already. I told you, I’ll see you tonight. How are you?” Though they never reach the point of tying the knot, Luke’s Family allows her to customize the standard kerb surrounds combining their favorite color and mounting 2 small candle holders on both sides of the headstone and a flower holder on the bottom part. She places the roses in the flower holder and walks toward the headstone to light the candles on each holder and stands at the foot of the kerb memorial. After praying, she can no longer control her emotions and break down. Her knees betray her and collapse beside Luke’s grave, weeping she crawls on top of the kerb memorial and curled in a fetal position.

Meanwhile, Sebastian who parked his car not far away saw everything and sighs deeply, he called Stephen and quickly walks toward Sydney passing Patrick’s car. Seeing his once tough Sister like this breaks his heart.

“Stephen, Come here at the North Vancouver Cemetery. Don’t bring your car let Mathew drive you. Someone has to drive Sydney’s car back home. She’s having an emotional breakdown and it’s not safe for her to drive. And oh, don’t say anything to Mom” He told his brother on the other line who agrees and calls Mathew to pick him up quickly after their conversation.

Patrick saw what happened and overheard Sebastian while he was passing by. His hunch is getting stronger she must be the anonymous sender he thought to himself. He doesn’t know why but he feels comforting her.

“Hey Sis” Sebastian crouches beside her, he took her in his arms and cradle her “it’s okay Syd, cry it out I’ll be just here with you” he lovingly said to her.

Stephen arrives with Mathew and quietly approaches them and gently touches his Sister’s head. They let her cry some more and patiently listening to her grievances until finally she got tired and dozes off with a series of hiccups; Sebastian took the opportunity carrying her to his car. He gently put her in the backseat securing with a seat belt, then all of them left the cemetery.

Patrick watch the receding cars, with enough distance he quickly went to check the gravestone

“Luke Collins” he thought silently. Now he confirmed that the beautiful woman was the anonymous sender and Luke was her late partner. He quickly places the flowers he bought right next with the roses and says a short prayer. Casting one last look before leaving, Patrick chilled in coldness, and felt like he wasn’t alone that time.

“I’m very sorry; I mean no offense in following your Woman and visiting you. Please, I have no bad intentions at all. I am leaving now, sorry if I offended you in any way.” Patrick talks to Luke before leaving quietly.

“I hope they’re not that far, so I can follow them home. I’d like to see where she lives” he thought silently while driving whilst looking around.
