The Unexpected

"How long is it since I bought a new ball dress? A year? No, maybe 2? or 3? I have fogtten already. I can't get a proper paid works because of the situation I am in." Krizea thought of herself while doing the laundry for her sister.

"Krizea! What have you done?!" Her mother shouted in anger as she saw Krizea used her magic for doing the laundry.

"Why would you use your useless magic in doing such mundane task!" She said, disappointed.

"uhh, mother..I-"

Krizea's magic attribute is levitation. She can move things without making a skin contact to it. though as a child fourteen years ago, she is definitely happy about her magic but her parents, instead of congratulating her, they hated her for it. They didn't consider it as 'magic' because her bloodline was known for having grandiose magic attributes to their town that hers was becoming nothing compared to it.

"Stop explaining for yourself! You can't even have a decent attribute for this family yet you are acting this way! How could you be so shameless!"

"Mother I was just using my power so that I can do things at the same time I-"

"Useless! I regret giving birth to a useless like you! What a shame!" Normally, Krizea would feel hurt about her mother's words towards her but she heard them every day and she got used to it.

Her mother, Mrs. Riavana Montarial, is the towns 'Healing mistress' she is one of the most important persona in their place. She is the headmaster at Mariana's Town Healing place.

Mrs. Montarial left Krizea at the washing area at the back of there mansion.

"well, well...what do we have here.." Her sister appeared from nowhere. Patrica Montarial, 24 years old who has a unique magic attribute that is considered as 'majestic' in the world of magic wizards. Water attribute, chosen by the gods of waters themselves.

"Patrica..." She hurriedly embraced her sister and cried to its shoulder.

"my my..what did mother said to you this time? poor little sister" she patted Krizea's head gently.

" It's n-nothing, it's just.. why can't mother accept me?" she said while sobbing.

"Hush now, by the way, what did mother asked you to do? are that my dresses you just washed?"

"Yes, it is. Mother told me to do them again." Krizea sounded so down as she spoke.

"No, stop what you are doing right now and we'll go to the town's market!"

"Really?!" Krizea's pale looking face due to the fact that she can't go anywhere outside their house except for important gatherings lighted up for a moment.

"uhmmm" Patrica smiled.

The town's market is busy as always. Bill rings as the 'kalesa' pass by. (Kalesa is a type of transportation in the Philippines. CHARIOT* as we know it)

"Miss Patrica!"

"Madame Patrica!"

"Good day miss Pat!" The town people called to patrica many times everytime they pass by a store and she greeted them back.

"You really are well known Patrica! wow! Someone even called you Pat! Hahaha"

"yeah sometimes,I can't handle them so I just use my magic to hide."

"You can hide using your magic? Isn't your attribute water?"

"Yes, I can actually hide using it."

"But how?" Krizea asked in curiosity

"You know Kriz, you're acting like we're back being kids again, you're being adorable! Hahaha"

"It must be good to be chosen by the gods...compared to me, my magic was like a speck.." krizea looked down..she realized it sooner but she still can't understand why her parents hated her so much.

"Come on..don't feel so bad about your magic! It is actually good!" Patrica is doing her best to cheer up her sister.

"You're just saying that for me to feel good"

"Anyways! we're going to waste our time to that topic are we?"

"We better get going"

"Wow! That dress is magnificent!" krizea can't hide her excitment over a piece of fabric.

" Do you want that one?"

Krizea nodded but flinched after

"Why? What is wrong? do you not like it?"

"If you bought this for me it would be a total waste for you...it cost seventy eight golden Leaf and besides..I don't know were to wear this.."

"Krizea Lo and behold! I am bringing you to the king's palace! Tonight there will ba a banquet party for our prince's ceremony!"
