“Why did you pass out ? are you scared of them ?” my mate asked me. After some time, I made up myself to answer him. I was facing down my hands and playing with my fingertip as I was so nervous. He has a concerned look on me, I like it very much, it made me courageous to answer him by looking deep into his eyes.

“yes…I was scared. can I ask for something ?” as I asked he gave me a warm smile as said, “I can do anything for my mate” it made me blush, I lowered my head again.

“can…ca--can I have some blood?” I m so scaredly with myself, will be thinking of me as a bad guy now. If he realthinksink in that way, I regret why the hell did I ask this question… I was closing my eyes and expecting him to let his words out. Yet there was no response pf a few seconds.

I take a peek at him for his reaction and I was stunned. He was already offering his wist for me to feed myself. ‘Is--is..he okay with this?’ “but,… but don’t you regret accepting a vampire as your mate?” I lower my head again.he just smiled and said.

“should I do that for having the most cute person as my mate?” why am I blushing with all these words. He is hilarious. He continued with his words again as he patted my head.

“I don’t care if you drink my blood are you are a vampire or an omega… I just care that you are mine. And I need to treasure you…” ahh.. he gonna give me a mini attack with his precious smile. His left wrist was still in front of my mouth offering himself to me.

“but… still I can't always feed on you. I don’t want to hurt any human. Can I get any animal’s blood” I am surprised by myself as I was able to complete what was in my mind? Yet in the end, I gained his chuckle. I felt embarrassed. I just gave him a pout still my head is facing down.

“Sorry, you so cute. For now, you can taste your mate’s blood I will let the servants bring what you asked for later” I think the blush will be permanent when he is with me. Am I cute for him? I smiled at him and let my fangs out of my mouth, inserting in his wist as slow as possible. I don’t want to hurt him anymore. he managed not to change his smiling face.

While sucking his blood, he asked me something that I never want him to be known which made me stop and hurt him. He asked “did you had a nightmare?” he looked worried with his voice. Did I mumble something that I should in my unconscious state? I don’t want him to know the things that happened in the past.

I let him go by releasing my fangs out and a drop of tear shed down my cheek without being known by myself. And after a long silence I answered his question “yes … yes it's just a nightmare which scared me will it happen in real” I said him by giving him a warm smile like ‘I m okay’

He wiped my tears and hugged me. “as long as I am by your side… I won't let even the god give you a hardship” he whispered in my ears I hugged him back and asked, “how can I …. call you” the second part of the sentence was in a low sound . he back offed from the hug and said, “how about the baby” he asked with a smirk mockingly. I looked away and blushed “ don’t mock me, I asked for my mate's name …”

He had a chuckle and said “drake… but you can call me anything you want”
