Chapter:2 The Rap Battle

The air was thick with bass and cigarette smoke in the underground club.

Neon lights flickered across the faces of an eager crowd, many swaying in rhythm to the music pumping through the speakers. Tonight was one of those nights — the underground rap scene buzzing louder than usual.

Leon tightened the straps on his hoodie, checking his reflection briefly in a mirror backstage. His red hair stuck up messily, sweat already forming at his temple. The murmurs outside told him the crowd was ready for him. And so was he.

“You ready, Leon?” one of his friends asked, smirking.

Leon grinned. “Born ready.”

The Underling Approach:

Before Leon could step on stage, a bald, sharply dressed man approached. His walk was confident, but there was an air of tension in his posture.

“You Leon?” he asked without preamble.

Leon cocked his head. “Depends on who’s asking.”

The man smirked faintly. “My boss wants to offer you a deal. It’s… beneficial for you.”

Leon laughed, brushing him off. “I don’t make deals with strangers. Thanks anyway.”

The man’s smirk faltered slightly. “I’m telling you, you’ll regret rejecting it.”

Leon simply shook his head and walked toward the stage. He didn’t give the man another glance.

Leon's Performance:

The crowd erupted as Leon stepped onto the stage. His presence alone pulled their attention — his voice, sharp and raw, cut through the noise.

Verse after verse, Leon spit truth and defiance, his words a mix of pride and challenge. He wasn’t just performing. He was asserting himself — making his mark in a world that didn’t give him permission to be heard.

The crowd roared, chanting his name. Sweat dripped down his face as he finished his set, breathing heavily.

“You’re the king tonight,” one friend shouted from the crowd. Leon only smirked, waving them off as he stepped down.

The Unexpected Visitor:

From the shadows at the back of the club, a tall figure stepped forward. Black hair slick, sharp suit flawless even in the dim light. His presence was silent but magnetic.

Leon noticed him instantly. That quiet, confident air made him pause.

Anos moved forward, his eyes fixed on Leon. The crowd seemed to fade around them.

Anos: “We meet again.”

Leon turned slowly, smirking. “Do I know you?”

Anos: “You will soon know who I am.”

Leon raised an eyebrow, brushing the sweat from his face.

Anos: “I sent my underling to offer you a deal… but you rejected it.”

Leon: “What deal? Oh — you mean that bald guy who came to me earlier. He was your underling?” His voice was teasing.

Anos: “…Yes.”

Leon smirked wider. “Well… I don’t have time for stranger deals. Gotta go. Bye.”

Before Anos could reply, Leon turned and walked away. His hoodie swayed with his steps, his red hair catching the dim light of the club.

Anos's POV:

Anos watched him leave. His lips curled into a faint smirk, his dark eyes following Leon’s every move.

"Interesting… very interesting."

He pulled his phone from his pocket, pressing a few buttons. His underlings would hear about this. Not just Leon’s defiance — but his energy, his audacity, his dangerous charm.

This wasn’t over.
