(Theo’s side)

“Hey, it's been awhile”.....

I walked out of the pool and stood in front of her and I grab the towel from her hands and I wiped my face and put the towel around my shoulder and looked at her. I carefully looked at her and I gently smiled at her.

Theo: "So the beautiful Nova has finally come to me after all. I’m guessing your not scared to see me now." (I put my hands on my hips just smiling at her)

Nova: *clears her throat* "I wasn't scared and I don’t know what mean.....(she takes a glance at Theo abs and closes her eyes and opens them again) and can you ahm please put on some clothes...your gonna catch a cold."

I chucked and I walked over and grab a spare robe on the chair and covered myself and turns back to her. Seeing her look flustered I couldn’t help but teased her.

Theo: "You..don’t like what you see?"

Nova: "see what exactly?"

Theo: *I opened my robe again pointed to my chest and pointed down to my abs* "this of course? Cause I could of swore I saw you drooling a minute ago."

Nova: (she gasp and turns away quickly) "Theeoo! I’m only here to rely a message! Henry said dinner is going to be ready and for you hurry up and come over! There message sent so I’m leaving. I’ll see you at dinner! Byeeee."

Theo: (i grab her by the hand quick stopping her and turned her back my way but I couldn’t stop laughing) "okok I’m sorry I didn’t mean to tease you. But stay a bit and lets chat. It’s been awhile. Or at least wait for me. I won’t take long. I promise."

Nova: "ugh. Fine. You got 30 mins to get ready or I’m leaving first. Annnd....you can let go of my hand now too..."

Theo: (realizes that he’s still holding her hand) "No. I don’t want too."

I held her hand a bit tighter so she couldn’t get away and pulled her along with me while going to back upstairs into my room.

Nova: "Theoo I can go by myself."

Theo: (I stop and looked at her) "If I let you go now. You’ll run."

Nova: .......

When we got to my room I sat her down on my bed and I let go of her hand...

Theo: "I’ll be ready in a bit just chill until then."

(I grab a pair of clothes and before going into the bathroom I gave her one more look and said.....)

Theo: "If you dare leave after I go into the bathroom. I’ll tell your mom what you did to her purse back when we were 12."

Nova: *gaasspp* "uhhh! You wouldn’t dare.." (giving theo the look of death)

Theo: (I grined at her) "Good. Now we understand each other."

I went into the bathroom and took a shower quick.

(Nova’s side)

Ugh I can’t believe him! He hasn't changed one bit. I touched my hand smiling a bit.

Nova: "he really hasn’t changed."

~Zoning into a flashback~

Age 14. At the beach.

Nova: "Theo you can let go of my hand I promise I won’t leave your side."

Theo: *holding tighter* No! Because the moment I let go I won’t be able to reach you! So I’m going to hold onto your hand for as long as I can and not let go. Besides your the only hand I want to hold. If I let go now some idiot isn’t going to know how to hold your hand and guide you! So lets go. I’ll take you somewhere safe and fun. Just don’t let go alright."

Nova: *grips her hand tighter letting him know she wasn’t going to let go* "you promise it will be fun and safe?"

Theo: "Of course. Because I’m here! Come on lets go before they start looking for us!" *gives her a big bright smile*

~Coming back from flash back~

Nova: *lays on her back and raise her left hand up* "we had to let go regardless. I guess I wasn’t holding tight enough."

There it is again. My heart tightens again. I let out a sigh and lay down on his bed with my hand on my forehead.

*doors open* Theo comes out of the bathroom and I sat up looking at him. His hair was still wet.

Nova: "want me to dry your hair?"

Theo: "nah. It drys pretty fast by it self. But thanks for waiting. We can go now."

Nova: "it’s not like I had much of choice. Someone was gonna throw me under the bus."

Theo: (he laughs) "your secret is still safe with me. Besides you won’t find a better partner in crime than me." *winks at her with a smirk*

Nova: (I couldn’t help but give him a smile and laugh a little because it was true. I won’t find anyone better than him for a crime)

Theo: (thmp bump) you finally smile and laughed. And here I thought you completely changed on me.

He pokes my forehead just like before when we were kids. I touched my forehead and smiled. That was my Theo. I suddenly didn’t feel the tightness on my chest anymore and I was finally able to tell him...

Nova: "Welcome home Theo."

He looked at me with those eyes that I adore and said “thanks. It good to be back” and we went back to my house.

We had dinner around 7pm and Theo and his siblings stay over for the count down. My brothers was having a blast with Rome and Theo. My mom and Sunhee was hogging the karaoke microphone and Henry just keeps making us snacks and honestly the food was bomb. I admit they did pretty amazing job for a couple of hours. We sang and played games. There was only 10 mins left before the year was gonna be over and the year 2019 was going to begin. But all of the sudden my doorbell rings and I looked outside and saw a familiar car parked outside. Please god. Let this nightmare end.
