Chapter 5

Lucas

I am in the office. It's already 6 pm. I brought Luke here because I didn't have time for him. I always drowned myself to work.

Luke is with Rosaline, his nanny. Guiding Luke to walk cause my baby is starting to learn to walk now. He needed protection in case he falls.

I am just finishing this paperwork and contracts. Leticia text me, she is going to meet me here. She is going to introduce me to someone. I didn't know whom but I didn't care at all.

Some cheap girls I guess.

After I am done. I pressed the intercom and called Rosaline to bring Luke here.

A knocked echoed in my office. I told them to come in.

Rosaline came in with Luke in her arms.

"Let Luke walk up to me." She nodded and guides Luke.

"Come to daddy, baby," I said softly.

Luke smiled slightly and walked towards me but he got out of balance.

“O-oh…”

I'm glad he reaches half of it.

I got up and go over to him to pick him up.

"How's my son's doing?" I kissed his forehead and he clapped his little hands.

I knocked interrupt my bonding with my son.

Sabrina peeps at the door; I raised an eyebrow for her to continue.

"Sir, Your sister is here." She informed and I just nodded while soothing Luke's back.

I heard my sister stilettos coming louder.

"How are my dear brother and my baby Luke?" She asked sarcastically.

I looked at her and someone in her back I cannot see yet, Leticia is Blocking her I knew it's a girl.

"What do you need? " I snapped not wanting to talk in a playful way.

I am tired.

"You're soon to be wife is here." She said and moved out of the way.

"You can take a sit," I said blankly.

I saw the girl had long black hair, Black eyes twinkling, and looking sexy as damn.

Did I think that? I shake my head.

"Girls are Gold-digger. Remember Lucas? " I scolded myself inside.

"Stop drooling," Leticia said teasing.

"I did not." I huffed. ‘I just looked at her to be sure. She is decent.

Looks are deceiving.

"Sure you are not." She replied sarcastically. Eyeing me you-are-

"What do you want?" I snapped. She is not going to let this go if I did not stop.

"Yeah so... I am here to introduce to you, Aria. You are going to marry her tomorrow." She put her hands into her hips. I looked at the girl named Aria. She is looking down.

"Ok, whatever." I dismissed.

"Don't be like that." She growls.

"What do you want me to say kneel down at her and thank her. Hell no!"

I heard her sighed rolling her eyes on me and whispered something to Aria.

Luke changed his position looking at them and clapped his hands.

"M…mo-mmy…" he squealed and clap his hands. He rarely does this and he smiled reaching up into his ears.

He really needs this.

"Hi, Luke." Aria's voice making me looks at her. A very heavenly voice of her.

"See," Leticia said and winked at me. I rolled my eyes.

"Aria that is Luke's father. Lucas Wighten." She said, pointing at me.

I nodded at her.

"Nice to meet you. Can I hold Luke?" She said shyly and politely

I nodded.

"Rosaline give Luke to her," I said sternly. Rosaline stood up and get Luke from me.

"Aria, That's Rosaline." She pointed to Rosaline.

"Luke Nanny. In case you needed her, She is with you and will do what you said, " she added.

I huffed. My sister is really getting in my nerves. She is letting a girl rule my son's nanny.

Aria gets Luke from Rosaline and carries him in her arms. Luke giggled and smiled. I never knew my son could smile like this and for the person, I didn't know.

"M..mo-mmy" he spoke cutely. Aria cooed him and kisses his forehead.

Luke circled his arms to Aria's neck. She is really pretty.

"Aria, We are just going to talk. Me and LUCAS." Leticia informed Aria and me. Hardly saying my name.

She nodded and started to play again with Luke.

Leticia mouthed me "where". I mouthed her to “follow me”

I stood up and passed them. I could feel Aria is staring at me. I didn't turn to look at her. What for? She is like the girls who are for money.

I walked to the conference room.

Once we enter, Leticia shuts the door.

"What?" I asked confusingly.

"Is she fine for you?"

"It's alright, I think she is good for my son," I said boringly.

"Good to know…get married tomorrow. She is staying at your house and She will not go to work. I already informed her about the things. She needed to do and not to do" she explained.

"I won't do anything further. It's already up to you. Talk to her if any things you want to discuss. Packing things or anything." She added.

I flexed my neck and look at her.

"How much did you pay her? " I asked. I knew there is an exchange for this arrangement.

"I paid her father's debt." She said boringly.

"Gold digger," I muttered under my breath.

"She is not and don't hurt her Lucas. I am warning you." she snapped and I nodded irritated.

I loosen my tie and open the two buttons of my suit.

"Fine, Anything else?"

She shakes her head no and I nodded.

"Let's go back."

We left the conference room and walked back to the office.

I heard Luke's baby laughs.

"You can go home and get ready for everything, after the event tomorrow. You will stay with me." I said harshly. I opened up my arms to get Luke but he hugged Aria tightly.

"Go to your daddy, Luke. Mommy will be back tomorrow." She said softly, kissing his forehead.

Thanked God. Luke let me picked him up. She is not that bad.

"Ok, I am going." She said softly and stood up.

"Let's go Aria. Let's party first before you get married tomorrow " Leticia said, changing the mood.

She already planned again.

"Bye brother and Bye Luke. " She walked and kisses Luke's cheeks.

I nodded at them and they leave.

I sat at my swivel chair.

"Are you happy Luke? You have a mommy already." I asked my baby.

He smiled in return and clapped his small hands.

"Sir, Luke needs his milk. " Rosaline said and I offered my hand for her to give me Luke's bottled milk.

I laid down Luke in my arms and he started sucking his bottled milk. He never experienced ****** milk.
