The song of pearl

Asher reached the low-town district, his powerful tail driving him through the water with urgent speed. Finn sat at the entrance of their dwelling, not inside. He was clearly waiting, the worry radiating on his face.

Asher swam to Finn and wrapped his arms around him from behind, pulling him back into the small, warm embrace of their home.

Finn spun around, clutching Asher's tunic. "What happened? I was so—I felt so uncomfortable after you left. What did the King want? Why didn't he send guards?"

"He knew our trip to the south, so that he would lure us into something that's illegal." Asher's tone, calm

Finn was shocked. "They believed !" he asked still reeling about Asher's words.

"Guess, what ! he did ! that's why he was called stupid and foolish by my mother." Asher chuckled. Finn let out a relief sign.

They got up and they walked into the house.Asher, unable to wait another second, pushed Finn gently to the wall, his hands trailed freely beneath Finn's robes , he lowered his head to Finn's neck leaving wet open-mouthed kisses. Finn groaned. His body, melting against the wall. The intoxication is too much to take care of.

Before Asher lost control, The familiar, emergency beam from the conch shell radiated across the room. Siren's voice echoed making the couple flinch.

Siren's words- It's time to turn the song of pearl to life. Both Asher and Finn were ordered to take a seat at the nearby rock with the dissolved tears.

They repeated the sequence twice more, and as they completed the final Devil Fish sign, the siren abruptly ceased.

Purple - black fumes emerged from the pearl, it formed protective circles on Finn and Asher. It is absorbed into their veins. The song of pearl was successfully achieved. The tears of grief from love is the powerful weapon that remains untouched.

Asher opened his eyes as the conch shell went back to its original state. He signaled Finn to open his eyes. They prayed to the ocean goddess for being merciful.

Meanwhile, in the king's chamber(Royal-city) ~

The Royal Court, once a vision of gilded power, was now a vortex of the King’s uncontrolled rage. The king was restless. The insult was only compounded by the couple’s total disappearance.

Worse, he couldn't get any trail of the couple. The magical trace that should have led the tracking mates had been deliberately confused. But Nereus knew it wasn't the time to sit quiet
