Reunion of Dreams and Promises

Ten Years Later

Lucian Throne, now seventeen, had already become the youngest successful author, admired around the world for his stories and unique perspective. Every word he wrote carried the depth of someone who had seen life through both hardship and imagination.

In the quiet sanctuary of his White Wings Villa, Lucian leaned back in his chair with a sigh.

Lucian: “Ahh~ so tired. Inspiration -inspiration--where do I get inspiration for story.”

He gently stuck his latest notes into his notebook, pausing for a moment.

Lucian: “I guess… tomorrow maybe I will go see sister Lily.”

The phone rang.

Lucian: “Jimu! Speak, hurry… maybe tomorrow… here!?… okay. No, how can I forget that… I have already prepared… hm.”

He hung up, shaking his head.

The sun was bright over Marinth Bay City. Jimu Ralts, now a successful businessman, approached Lucian.

Jimu: “Lucy!! Hey.”

Lucian stopped him with a hand.

Lucian: “I have told you not to call me by that name, don’t you understand?”

Jimu: “C’mon, even sister Lily calls you Lucy. Why can’t I?”

Lucian: “Because I said so. Now get on the car.”

The phone rang again.

Lucian: “Nyra! Yes, I am on my way to see sister Lily, so it may be late. Sorry, I can’t keep you company today… ok, bye.”

Nyra is Lucian’s girlfriend. She had a gentle presence that had caught his attention one day while he sat alone in the park, lost in thought about new stories.

Jimu: “You got a nice girlfriend, but she’s slightly older, don’t you think? How long has it been—two weeks? Maybe three? Do you guys always hang out together!?”

Lucian: “Noisy.”

Jimu (laughing): “Hehe! I won’t ask more. Hey, look at this. Do you know him?”

Jimu showed a video of a famous CEO being interviewed.

Lucian: “Yeah, everybody knows him. CEO of the famous brand CTK, Rowan Showen. It’s been a few years, and he’s climbing fast in the industry. Then… what about him?”

Jimu: “They are launching a new product. Wanna go check it out? Maybe your girlfriend might like it.”

Lucian: “I still don’t know her preference… maybe let’s see.”

Arrived at Aurora Youth Center

When Lucian and Jimu arrived at the Aurora Youth Center, the familiar halls were alive with activity. Staff and children were busy decorating the rooms.

Hima: “Lucian!! Jimu!!”

Hima, Lily’s most trusted assistant—more like a sister—greeted them warmly.

Jimu: “Sister Hima, how are you?”

Hima: “Haven’t seen you for a few years. This time you came personally—the sun rises from the west today, huh!”

Jimu (awkward laugh): “Hahaha!! How can it be, Sister? We’re just… a little—haha.”

Lucian: “We were just occupied by work, Sister. We have never forgotten you.”

Hima (smirking): “Good, because your sister Lily gives killing eyes every year. Only your gifts arrive, no one comes, and your taste… who sends a princess dress to an adult woman ,moreover so shining and vibrant colour like a little girl you know?”

Jimu: “I thought Sister Lily would like it, so…”

Hima flicked at Lucian.

Hima: “Your gifts are not better either. Don’t send flashy things; you know she doesn’t like them.”

Lucian’s eyes searched for Lily.

Lucian: “I’ll keep that in mind. So… where is Sister Lily?”

Hima explained that Lily was finishing some personal matters at home—related to her sister’s refusal to marry despite being about thirty—and would join them shortly. She then introduced Lucian and Jimu to the children as older brothers, and the two quickly bonded, helping decorate the walls.

Evening – 7pm->Lily Arrives.
