I woke up to the bright sunlight streaming in through the open glass window. The curtains had already been widened. I got out of bed, arranged the sheets neatly, and went to freshen up. After my morning routine, I entered the kitchen.

Aiden was cooking breakfast. I leaned against the nearby wall, folding my hands and admiring the man I married.

My mind drifted back to the days after I finished my post-grad. Two months after, we planned a family meetup at a restaurant. Both our families are happy about our announcement. We had a simple, casual destination wedding, just a perfect celebration for us.

I snapped out of thoughts when the freshly tossed pancakes aroma hit my nose I took a few steps and leaned forward, hugging Aiden from the back. I sniffed his back inhaling the familiar raw pine scent..

"Good morning" he greeted, flashing me the widest smile.

"Good morning." I said, still sniffing his neck.

" Didn't you get enough last night" His voice, deep, eyes crinkling with a warm, knowing laugh.

I squeezed him tighter "Not even close."

Aiden chuckled softly, he twisted the knob on the stove, to turn off. "I would love to stay like this too, but this needs to serve showing me the pancakes he made. He paused for a moment and continued" you have already exhausted last night so time to replenish some energy."

I took a step back giving him enough space to arrange the food on the table. He quickly platted the pancakes, then pulled out his chair and seated, gesturing me to take my seat.

Instead, I walked over and sat right onto his lap. His grip grew firm on my waist. I hugged him again and buried my nose at his scent glands. I leaned closer and gently bit his neck leaving mark. A low groan vibrated, as he clenched my shirt and gasped my name "Blake."

The moment was enough for Aiden to take the lead. He pushed his chair back, with one swift motion he lifted me up and settled me onto the kitchen counter. His expression, dark and intense

"You are impossible" he muttered closing the gap between us.

His lips found mine. The kiss was deep, raw and immediate, it was at this moment I realised he went easy on my last night. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer, giving more access for him to explore me.

The familiar raw pine scent has become much stronger, mixing with the heat from his skin.

Aiden broke the kiss, his forehead came to rest against mine. He didn't open his eyes, he muttered" You are not making me, to take a leave do you ?"

He didn't wait for my response, his grip became tightened on my waist. With one smooth motion he completely lifted me off the counter, I Wrapped my hands around his neck. He turned and walked towards our room. Leaving breakfast on the table.

Aiden placed me on the soft bed gently, as he hovered above me and pressed a trail of soft kisses across my forehead, then my cheeks and finally my mouth.

He pulled up the quilt and covered me, his mouth grazing the sensitive spot on my ear " save for the night, babe." he mumbled pulling back and chuckling softly as he headed toward the bathroom to freshen up for his academy.

I was left, a blushing mess on the bed. I still wonder where he mastered that self-control after all the rizzing up!

Finally, after calming myself, I came out of bed to get ready for my art studio.
