The Price

Skylar's POV :

The next day, I was early in the office since I needed to deal with the poor man yesterday. After deciding and understanding his situation, he'll be imprisoned for 6 months. Well, that's the most I could do to help him.

Ha..it was really tiring and I swear I really don't want to meet that guy again.

Lunch was soon here and I took out my lunchbox. I've always made homemade lunch since I've a lil' bro who's in college.

I don't want him to eat out and I've restricted him from spending too much money, though he's very caring and thoughtful towards me.

I'm happy with the peaceful life I have now. It's great, really.

As I was chewing my food, my colleague, Paul, came up to me and told me that someone was looking for me.

I got up and went out to the entrance and see who it was. Speak of the devil!

He just had to come over right now, during lunch hour, and ruin my appetite. I gave him a glare and he smiled back. Ugh!!!

Jayden's POV :

After that amusing incident yesterday, I find her more and more attractive and I just couldn't wait to make her mine.

Therefore, I've decided to visit her today and use the favour she owed me today.

Upon reaching around lunch hour, I asked my driver to wait nearby as I asked one of her colleagues to call her out.

She came out, looking as beautiful as ever while the sun shone on her dazzlingly.

After taking a clearer look of her, she was indeed gorgeous, even without much makeup.

She came up to me and gave me a glare, and I smiled back. I can't wait. *smirks*

"It's you again. How did you find me?" She spoke first.

As I swung the name card she gave me yesterday, she facepalmed her head and mumbled, "Ugh right..."

"Now what do you want? You DO know that it's my precious lunch hour now, right?"

I could see her getting irritated by the minute.

"Don't worry, you're here to pay back the favour you owe me."

"Fine what do you want in return?"

"I want you to be my woman."

Skylar's POV :

I stood there, dumbfounded as the guy whose name I don't even know said that he wants me to be his woman.

"Are you crazy?! I barely know you, sir. Why me? Anyways I refuse!"

I stated clearly with determination.

Pfft who does he think he is?! Seriously...

"Sorry honey, but I don't think you have a choice. Actually, rather than a favour, it's more like an order and you do not have the right to disobey me!"

"What is wrong with you?! Who are you anyways? I just met you yesterday for your information. And don't call me honey!"

I was getting impatient and angry. He's clearly demanding me and that's what I hate the most, especially coming from a stranger.

"Well, I guess I did forgot to introduce myself. The name's Jayden Hunter." He smirked devilishly.

My eyes widen like never before while his name rung through my ears.

Jayden Hunter. The Jayden Hunter. The leader of the most powerful mafia gang in the world and the youngest CEO of the most successful company.

Just what kind of mess have I gotten myself into???!!!

"Yo...you...you're Jayden Hunter...?"

I was scared shit!

Jayden's POV :

Heh she immediately became a kitten. So cute... *chuckles*

"You heard it right. So I want you to be my woman. I find you very interesting."

"No! I'm sorry if I did offend you in any possible way but this is just absurd."

Ha! This is really fun.

"You're weird though. Girls would die just to get close to me and now it's the opposite and you're refusing me? Damn you're the first one to do that...seriously now I want you even more."

I could clearly see her shocked face, with a tiny shade of red.

"Still, no."

Damn she's one stubborn girl.

"You don't have a choice though. As I've said, it's an order."

"I'm sorry, but you're just....no."

I was really getting fed up with this attitude of hers. Fine then!

"Honey, I was trying to be as nice and as polite as I could but since you kept refusing, guess I don't have much of a choice."

I said menacingly.

She looked at me confusingly.

"I heard you have a brother right? Zac, in college. What would happen if he's forced to drop out of college and his scholarship would be void."

"Wh...wha..what..?"
