That's when they started having a big conversation without realizing I was also there with them. They talked for an hour, and after that, Rohan invited Tyler to our house. I said no to his face as if Tyler was not there. Soon, I covered it up as I got a message that was an emergency and took a leave from both of them and directly headed outside the café. The next day, Tyler came to our house with his sister, Lily. After they started enjoying themselves, I took Lily to my room and asked her about Tyler, explaining what happened at the café that week.

She said that he was out of the country when my brother and she got engaged, and also that her mother refused to acknowledge that she had a brother. So, they couldn't tell, but Rohan was his childhood buddy as they studied in middle school together. He knew him better, and after she said that, I had thousands of questions in my head, but I didn't ask her any and said, "Let's go enjoy and play with them."I said, and I also asked her a favor to tell her brother Tyler not to tell Rohan about the chaos I caused at the café. She said she would do it.

We got back to the living room and found out that they were planning to go to the play zone in our house, so we joined them. We first played some video games, then cricket. After that, we started playing Uno. There were six players: Rohan, Riya, Shyam, Lily, Shruti, Tyler, and me. We were having fun. After the game ended, Rohan took everyone's reviews like an anchor. Everyone was laughing at what he was doing except me. When it was my turn to give a review, I said, "It was an extraordinary game, and I had fun," without even smiling.

That's when Tyler said, "But you didn't even smile or laugh while playing, and now also while everyone was laughing and smiling." At that moment, everyone in the room stared at Tyler, and Lily shut Tyler's mouth with her hand and said, "Let's play another round. Everyone started playing, and after the game ended, Tyler asked the same question: "Why are you not smiling? Do you not want to play?" Then Lily shouted at him, "Let's go home."

I replied rudely, "It's my choice whether I want to smile or not, and I like to play Uno no matter what happens." The whole room went silent, and after an hour, the guests and my friends left my house. We ate dinner and went to sleep.

Early in the morning, Shyam woke me up as it was the first day of university this year. I got ready and forced Rohan to get ready. We went to the university, and I sat in my seat. Everyone was busy chatting and having fun with their friends. I opened my phone, connected my AirPods, and played my favorite playlist (a mix of K-pop, Indian, and English mashups). The songs were mostly melodies, sad, heartbroken, and love songs.

All the girls were gossiping about something.I turned my head to see what they were staring and gossiping about. I saw a boy wearing a black shirt, torn jeans with chains, an earring on his left ear, and messy hair, coming towards me. Rohan jumped out of nowhere and put his hand around the neck of the boy as he approached. Rohan brought him to his seat and talked. I was wondering who he could be when Riya, Rohan's girlfriend, entered the room. All of a sudden, a person sat beside me. I turned my head and saw the same boy from before, and when I saw his face, he was none other than Tyler. I said straight to his face, "What happened to you overnight?" Then he came close to my face, my heartbeat rose, and he whispered in my ear, "Do you like my new look for the new university?" I froze for a second, then looked him up and down, and I just said, "It looks OK," but inside,

I loved his look.
