So I directly told the part-timer, "I did," in a calm tone. "It was me. I pressed the button without knowing that it was a fire alarm." At that very moment, the part-timer called me over to the counter and told the other people to enjoy the snacks and drinks they had bought.

I walked towards the counter as he said. He asked me about the fire alarm and why I pressed it, and I told him that it was an accident. I thought it was a bell to call the part-timer, but he was very furious and was about to curse me for the chaos I had caused.

That's when he said that his name was Rocky and that he studied at the same university as I did. Then a thought struck me; I realized that he was my classmate. I said, "Yeah, I know." Then he asked my name, and I replied, "Ishaani." He said that he had always wanted to be friends with me, but I didn't answer him. I just stared at him until he got up and walked away towards the counter.

I drank my coffee and got back home. I started to visit the café regularly as it was nearer to my home, it had a nice view, and the coffee was good. Rocky, that part-timer, tried to get close, but I kept my distance. One day, he gave me coffee without taking my order. I thought it could have been because I ordered it regularly; that's when the taste of the coffee seemed somewhat different, but it was good. I drank it,

Rocky came to me and asked how the coffee was. I said it was good and asked why it tasted different. Then he told me this: "It's a special coffee for a special person, and I added dark chocolate in it so its taste will be good." It was strange; that's when I realized that he was interested in me. I just asked how much the dark chocolate was. Then he said it was 120 Rs and asked why I was asking. I told him not to treat me like a special person and gave him an extra 120 Rs for the chocolate before stepping out of the café.

The other day, when I visited the café for a coffee, Rohan tagged along with me to try the new café's snacks. When we went inside the café, we sat down and ordered a coffee and macarons. When the part-timer brought the items, Rohan stood up and said, "Hey dude, what's up?" I hadn't seen you in so many years. I thought it was Rocky, but it was not him; it was the first part-timer who was angry with me the other day. I asked Rohan, "Do you know him?" Then Rohan said that his name was "Tyler" and he is "Lily's" brother. Then I realized that he was my other brother's fiancée's [Lily] brother.

Lily was one of my close friends, but she didn't even mention her brother in our conversation. But that's when a thought struck me: what if he tells about the chaos I started in the café? The other thought was that Lily's family is rich, but why is her brother working as a part-timer?
