She patted their head and they nodded their heads. At the Canadian airport, they came down from the airplane and as usual..... there was a limousine waiting for them.

A tan skinned woman in heels and sunshade glasses stepped out as if the world had been waiting six years for her.



Pearl was no longer Trina. Trina had died the night her brother’s body was lowered into the earth. Trina had been betrayed, broken, and buried beneath grief. What stepped back into Canada now was Pearl– polished, poised, and dangerous. Her silky dark hair cascading down her shoulders wearing aura like a luxurious perfume.

A small hand tugged at her sleeves as a tiny voice came out

" Mommy, is this Canada " Pearl lowered her glasses, looking at Kira's little eyes filled with curiosity and replied her

"Yes sweetie, we're back home"

She looked at her other side, checking on Kyle as well who dramatically yawned and said bluntly "It doesn't seem special anyways"

Pearl's lips curled into a knowing smile. To them it was just another country, but to Pearl, it was a battlefield where she was once defeated but now will be defeated by her. They kept on walking as three strongly built men as bodyguards followed her and the kids behind.

Suddenly she stopped in front of the black shiny new-modelled limousine that screamed nothing but luxury and power. She let the kids enter first before she entered with one bodyguard, the remaining following them in a BMW 2 Series Gran coupe. Kyle fell asleep during the journey and her phone vibrated with the sound of a notification, that read–

CONTRACT ACTIVE: meeting in 48 hours –Rogersons

The Rogersons– A family that caused every scar and trauma she had. She left pregnant and alone, came back as their business partner and for sure as planned will become their worst nightmare. Her thoughts were interrupted as those curious little eyes looked at her again "Mommy look at the tall buildings. This one looks like your company, did you bring it here" Pearl chuckled at her mentality "I didn't bring it here sweetie, some people just stole your mommy's ideas." Kira looked up more and tilted her head in confusion "But stealing is bad, and those bad men should be dealt with"

"And that's why mommy's gonna deal with them" Pearl smirked

Just wait, I'll get my company back, plus your so-called shares. I hope you even recognize me because that's how my revenge is best served.
