" Ma'am, Mr Carl is here to see you, should I let him in " Karen, her personal assistant came to inform her of Henry's arrival.

" Ok, let him in " she said as she kept on sorting out some important files on her desk hastily.

He made his way into her study with a huge smile, looking like a baby that was given a candy.

" Hey beautiful "

" Hi Henry, it's nice to see you. What brings you here. " She said while she was busy with other work not even taking a glance up.

" Well, I'm going with you to Canada. You need me to take care of you and the kids especially " He said as his eyes lit with excitement while she stopped what she was doing in disappointment, she didn't want to go with him for any reason.

" I can do that on my own, You still have to take care of your dad's business and other things " She tried to convince him not to come with her.

" Oh, about that, I've sorted it out. Dad has a branch of his company in Canada and he needs someone to take care of it and handle it well. Anyways guess what, the answer is here, so I took up the responsibility and you will have to be stuck with me. " He said expecting her to give up the argument, but as usual, anything Trina or should we say Pearl doesn't approve of is not approved by anyone

After Trina got to New York, she changed her name to Pearl Donovan, and after she had Kyle and Kira, she went back to study, had a business degree within 4 years, built her own company that same year and joined the dark underworld or should I say mafia gang, where there's no turning back. " I want to be known more in my own country than in someone else's, I might be famous already but I want to grow in my country too; and as for the asshole, he's just a toy to be handled anytime. So don't worry " she said in a cold tone and with her hidden agendas.

" Ok so what do you plan on doing if I may ask "

" You may not ask, now please leave "

Henry wanted to say something but left since he already knew her too well. She doesn't like to be disturbed when she's planning something or busy in general.

" Karen, " Pearl called her assistant who was outside the door of her study.

" Miss? " she replied with the impression of I'm at your service ma'am..

" Are their bags packed already " she asked Karen who was put in charge of supervising the maids packing the twin's bags.

" Yes ma'am, I've booked the flight as well and we'll be leaving by 7am tomorrow, " she said as she kept working on her task pad.

" That's good, you can leave... " she said as she paused and called her back, " are the kids asleep already? " she asked seemingly curious, since the house was quiet, then she heard Kira crying and screaming on top of her lungs. " I think I have my answer " Pearl said as she switched to mom mode running to where the sound was coming from, Kyle's room precisely. " What's going o......... " she paused as she saw Kira on the floor with Kyle's game tablet and Kyle with Kira's.

" Mommy, Kiki wants both tablets " Kira cried in her mommy's arms while pointing at her tablet in her brother's hands. " No, you can only have one " Kyle shouted with a little pout from where he was seating.

Pearl said to herself " I've got the best solution, " as she wanted to go back to her study and finish up her work. " Hey cuties, hand in your devices and go to sleep now, it's way past your bedtime you know " she said to stop them from continuing the quarrel tomorrow as usual, especially since they would have to travel with her. "No, mommy wants to cease Kiki's cute tablet, mommy won't give Kiki back, " Kira said as she cried harder in pretense, while she winked at Kyle, since the stage one of their plan was working. " No one is at fault here, and mommy will return little Kiki's tablet first thing tomorrow morning. So let mommy send you sweethearts to sleep " she said and smiled while looking at their cute pouted faces. " Let's make a pinky promise " Kira's eye lit up as she told her mom with sheer happiness. " Ok sweetie, it's a pinky promise " Pearl said as they put their Pinky's together for the promise.

" Mommy, please send Kiki to her room, and take her tablet " Kyle yawned and gave Pearl the tablet. " And also read me a bedtime story " he said as he laid on his bed like a boss ready to go to bed.

She just chuckled at both kids attitude which they displayed tonight and was already reading them a bedtime story when they started sleeping, so she kissed them on their cheeks and took Kira to her room as Kyle snuggled his blanket.

" I wish to give you both the best father... " she smiled and then gave a smirk " ...but let me deal with the real one first. " She dropped Kira gently and went to her room, leaving her work in the study for later.

* * * * * * * * * *The next day* * * * * * * * * *

Karen packed their luggage in the vehicle as they went to the airport for their flight. Kyle and Kira on the other hand were still talking about how to know what mommy was up to, since they had done the phase one of their plan which was to put a dashcam on their mommy's button to know or hear little about their dad for research purpose. Pearl was already coming as she took care of other formalities and sat with them in the business class.

" Kira, Kyle, mommy needs you both to be good children in Canada, mommy will be busy most of the time, so be good buns. "

She patted their head and they nodded their heads. At the Canadian airport, they came down from the aeroplane and as usual.....
