CHAPTER THREE: Tales of the Golden Yoke

"I'll rather keep mute.But then,what would you do now?"Jav asked

"I'll have to bring her here."

"Yes,The Arthes is sure the safest place she can stay now."

"Cole"Ara shouted

"Hey,Girl!What's the matter?"Her Mom asked

"Why are you shouting all over?"Her Dad asked

"Come on,will you lift us up?I'm unable to move any part of my body"Arielle complained

"Aaaaaaash!"Leah signaled to shut her up.

"That stupid son of a......Mom. He disassembles my bed and I just entered and jumped unto it and here I am now,with my back to the ground and pain goes down through my spine and to my whole body."She added

"I'm kicking his a**."Her Mom said and left

Well,actually it's part of her habit,jumping onto a bed backwards as soon as she entered a room,while Cole,her junior brother hates that.That's why he broke the bed,knowing definitely if she suffer once,she'll drop the habbit at once.

She seriously intend on saying.....'son of a bitch',but then she remembered that her Mom is a great kicker.

"Dad,won't you lift us up?"Arielle complained some more

"Us?"Her Dad asked

"For now,just lift me up."Leah interrupted

Early the next morning,Leah went out jogging,she was wearing a sport vest and a shorts with a pair of trainers and a sport bottle in her hand which are all in a pink color.An ear pods in her ear with her phone inside her shorts pocket.She had pushed her hair in a tight ponytail,just as she passed a company,her phone rang.

"What a company!"Arielle commented

"It is more than that atrocity group in the name of company."She added

"Yeah,hashtag Arthoms for you"Ara replied as she checked on the caller ID.

"Hey!Its Lucy."Said Arielle

It was Arielle,so she ignored her and answered the phone.

"Hi,Leah".She said as soon as I pick up

"Hi,Lucy."She replied

"I haven't seen you for a while,are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm doing just great and you?"

"Pretty good.So...."She was interrupted

"Shut it,are you out of the capes?"

"Yeah,why?"

'I almost burst out of laughter,hashtag me being me,I just smiled.It was somewhat stupid hashtag question'.Leah was thinking in her mind.

"Now,you've got to answer me truthfully."She added

'Well,she didn't even noticed the voice.Because it was Arielle who asked back then'.she added to herself

"Wait,"She added when Leah didn't respond.

"Don't tell me you quit?Is it because of me?"She asked

"Well......"

"If you dare open up on phone."Arielle warned.

"Anyway,bye for now.Let's talk some other time."Leag concluded and the line went dead.

She did what Arielle said,believe me or not,she's dangerous at times.Even Leah used to wonder if it is all thanks to the harsh treatment she received from he-who-must-not-be-named.

She quickly quit jogging and retired home.

"Hi Mom."

"Hi,Hun."her Mom replied from the kitchen.

"Hi Dad."

"Welcome,Babe."her Dad welcomed her with a brief hug.

"Whoa!Leah,your Dad's funny,he even calls you babe?"

"Cut off the drivel,hashtag bedtime."

"But its still morning."

"Yeah,no buts.Just take a nap."

'I'm probably tired of hearing her voice'.Leah thought.

"Hi,dear."she replied her Dad.

"Xero,how have you been?"

"Pretty good."

"Did you find it?"Xandros asked

"Oh!Yeah,It's residing with some girl."Alecs replied

Alecs Vanderquest is Xero's associate an Xandros Drako is the He-who-must-not-be-named.Alecs knows about the yoke and he is probably the only one who knows of it,apart from the Ortoms and ofcourse Arielle,and she hasn't told Leah yet.

"Is she the same girl?"Xero asked

"Yeah,seems so."Alecs replied

"Okay,does anyone finds out?"

"I don't think so."

Xandros nodded his head and relax as they continue chatting with Alecs regarding the Group.

The next day was a weekend day and her parent's and brother are out,weekend feasts they called it,and so she's alone.She was taking a nap,Nanny Lan turned the door knob after knocking.

"Leah,Luciana Flynn is here."

"Let her in,Nanny Lan."

"Sure,right away."She replied and left.

"Hii,Leah".

"Lucy,how have you been?"She asked as she gave her a warm embrace.

"I'm good and you?"

"I'm doing perfectly well as you can see."

They continue chatting for a while,and suddenly She asked.

"Leah,whom where you talking to,back then at the capes?"

"Oh!That was Arielle."

"Arielle?"

"Yeah,nice name,right?"

"Wait,where was that from?"Lucy asked

Leah laughed before she explained and Introduced Arielle to Lucy,and it seems Lucy like Arielle.

"Want some coffee,or atleast a drink?"Leah asked

"Nope,eerrr....just a cup of Coffee would do."Lucy replied

"And a drink for me."Arielle added.

As they chat after Nanny Lan served them their beverages,Lucy exclaimed.

"O My God!"

"What's wrong with her?"Arielle asked.

"Hashtag no idea."Leah replied.

"What could be the reason for the sudden change of mood?"Arielle asked

"I don't know,hashtag I'm a little bit afraid."

"Did I......just heard you say...little bit afraid?She's totally afraid."

"Should I asked?"

"Why not?"

"Lucy,what's wrong?"

"I've totally forgot about it."

"Oh!Leah don't start that your hashtag stuff,I mean why aren't you at work for almost a month?"
