Chapter 03

After class, the two girls headed to the cafeteria because they decided to eat together.

At the cafeteria...

The two bought their food and sat down on a table.

"So, Hitoka-chan, what club are you joining?" Y/n asked while taking a bite from her onigiri.

"Oh, I don't know. What about you, what club are you joining?" Yachi asked back.

"Oh, I'm joining volleyball club as a coach or a player." Y/n said with a smile.

"You know what, you should be a coach. Because rest your hands and legs because you might get injured." Yachi said, but regretted saying it.

"No, no, no! T-that's not what I meant! Please forgive me!!" Yachi said panicking.

"Good idea, Hitoka-chan! I might get injured, or else I'll not be playing volleyball in the future!" Y/n said, not getting offended but grateful that Yachi suggested.

"R-really?" Yachi stuttered.

"Yeah!" Y/n smiled brightly.

'S-so bright...'

Yachi thought.

The bell ring, signaling that the lunch's already done, and the next subject is starting.

The two girls are now done and headed to the classroom for the next subject.

After school...

"Alas! Finally, school's done!" Yachi sighed.

"Is it that tiring?" Y/n giggled.

"Yeah, or not really." the two laughed and the whole class was looking at Y/n, because they thought that her laugh and smile is beautiful.

"Y/n, I'll be heading home now." Yachi said.

"Oh, okay! You go home first, I'll find the volleyball club." Y/n smiled.

"Okay." Yachi bid her goodbye and left.

Y/n was walking through the hallway, a teacher called her.

"Y/n-san!" a teacher called.

"Oh, Sensei, what is it?" Y/n asked nicely, still having the smile.

"I'm Takeda-sensei, the teacher of boys' volleyball club, and I just heard that you go here at Karasuno. Wait, do you have any club yet?" Takeda said.

"No, I'm finding the boys' volleyball club." Y/n said.

"Great! What position are you gonna get there?" Takeda asked.

"Oh, be an assistant coach?" Y/n said.

"Great! The position is not occupied. Here. Here's the permission slip, please pass it tommorow." Takeda said.

"Thanks!" Y/n grabbed the permission slip.

"I'll go now, and thanks for joining the club. Oh, by the way, do you want to see the boys now?" Takeda asked and smiled.

"Yeah, sure!" Y/n smiled brightly.

"Okay! Let's go now!" Takeda said and they left to go to the gym.

At the gym...

Y/n could hear a lot of shouting and shoes squeaking the ground.

"Guys! I found a new member!" Takeda shouted to the boys.

"Who is it, Sensei?" a boy with shaved hair(I'm going to include Asahi and Noya here now bc I'm lazy asf).

"Ms L/n." Takeda motioned Y/n to come.

"Uh, sensei, you don't have to call me that, you can call me Y/n-chan." Y/n smiled.

"Oh, okay." Takeda said.

"Hey, boys! I'm Y/n L/n, nice to meet you all and I applied to be the assistant coach!" Y/n said and smiled brightly.

"Y/N L/N?!"

"Yes?" Y/n said awkwardly.

"RYU, WE GOT ANOTHER GODDESS!!!!" a boy with brown hair, and blonde bangs shouted with joy.

"I KNOW, NOYA-SAN!! IT'S NOT ONLY KIYOKO-SAN ANYMORE!!" Tanaka said.

Tanaka stopped crying and realization hitted him.

"Y/N-CHAN?!" Daichi, Suga, and Tanaka shouted.

"Yes, that's why I said 'see you next school year'." she giggled.

"Oh, so that's what you mean?" Suga asked with warm smile.

"Yeah!" Y/n said.

Y/n looked over behind them and found a blueberry boy and a orange hair boy.

"Oh, Sho-kun!" Y/n waved at Hinata.

"H-hi, Y/n-chan!" Hinata waved back.

"Who's the boy beside you?" Y/n asked nicely.

"Oh, he's Kageyama Tobio." Hinata glared at Kageyama which Kageyama returned.

"Oh, you're Kageyama Tobio! You're the genius setter! Oh my God! I watched your match and you are really great setting!" Y/n said with sparkling eyes.

"R-really?" Kageyama scratched the back of his neck with a blush while Y/n was nodding eagerly.

Y/n saw Asahi, standing there shyly.

"Oh, hi!" Y/n waved at Asahi with a bright smile.

"H-h-hi!" Asahi waved nervously.

"Oh, he's nervous, Y/n-chan. You don't find him scary?" Daichi asked.

"No! He's so cute! Being shy is really cute!" Y/n said.

"Oi! Kageyama, toss to me!" Hinata shouted at Kageyama.

"No, boke! I will never toss to you!"

"Why?!"

"Never!"

"Set to me now!!!!"

"No! I will never set to you!"

"What's going on?" the dean came in and asked.

"Why is it so noisy?" the dean continued.

"Oh, nothing, Sensei(I don't know what they call their dean). It's just that these two are not cooperating." Daichi said.

Kageyama went to serve and Hinata decided to join him.

Kageyama now served and Hinata went to receive it but it missed.

The ball flew to the dean's face and his wig, flew to Daichi.

Tanaka's controlling himself not to laugh while Nishinoya(I know Noya's not involve in this scene, but oh well)is controlling himself too.

The gym went silent and Y/n felt really bad but decided not to go to him to asked if he's okay because he looked really mad.

"Daichi, do you have a minute?" the dean asked.

"Y-yes, sensei." Daichi said and followed the dean outside.

...

"The dean said that we should keep this a secret. Luckily, he's not really mad to give you two a punishment." Daichi pointed at the two boys.

"It's all your fault, boke!" Kageyama shouted at Hinata.

"Why?! You're the one who served!" Hinata fought back.

The two continued bickering until Daichi shouted, "Enough!"

Daichi went to them and pushed them outside.

"Before you join this club, make sure you're all alright with teaming up." Daichi gave them their permission slip and closed the door.

And all of the people, including Y/n, sweatdropped.
