The Battle of the Bloodlines

Everyone looks confused and more than confused, they were angry. Catherine-" You come suddenly after all these days, and now start speaking nonsense. Christina-" *muttering* He must have been traumatised after encountering a wild boar." Michael-" I can hear you Chris. Anyway! Listen to me closely. Donot speak in between, until i allow you to." Derek-" Alright, speak up." Adele-" I hope whatever your about say will answer all our questions." They all sit down on the chair and  pay attention to what Michael has to say. Michael-" Ok guys, so you all know how Granny Hellen saved us 8 years back. If it weren't for her, we would all have been dead long back. And its her house that we all are living in right now too. And she is the one who is paying for everything we need. And yea, we work part time too, but, have you ever, at least one of you, ever thought,  why granny is helping us? Whats in it for her if we grow up and become successful people? She told us that she brought us from the orphanage because she felt lonely? Is that even believable?". Austin-" Yes it is. We even remember our time in the orphanage. We remember her bringing us home from there too." Michael-" Yes, thats what she wanted us to believe. But here is the truth. Granny Hellen isnt just a normal old woman. She has the power to alter ones memory. She brought us in and then altered our memory. She made us believe that we were kids abandoned by our parents since birth. And that she wanted to take us in as her grand children because she was lonely all by herself." Catherine-" The hell are you saying?! have you heard yourself?". Austin-" Yeah! Whats wrong with you? This isnt some fantasy fiction story." Christina-" If she altered all of our memories,  how is it that you know all this?". Michael-" Thats because she didnt change my memories. She told me that atleast one person among us should remember what happened and she also told me to keep it a secret from all of you until the time comes." Anna-" I guess Granny knew this day would come." Derek-" Guys, i know this sounds stupid, but i believe Michael. I always thought granny was hiding something from us. And that night when the 4 of us witnessed all that,.....". There is silence for a few seconds. Catherine-" Ok, continue." Anna-" Granny wanted me and Michael to meet each other. And that is why she called us both to her. I left early and Michael stayed back because he wanted answers. I guess he has got all the answers now." Michael takes a deep breath and exhales. Michael-" I cannot explain everything now. But ill give you the shorter version for now. 8 years back, everyone in our family were murdered by the witches. We were the only surviving members from our family, more like our parents sacrificed themselves for our survival. They couldn't fight back, because their powers were all sealed. The only thing they could do was help us escape so  that the prophecy becomes true." Adele-" What prophecy?". Anna-" Thats the problem. We dont know what it is. Granny alone knows it. But she wont tell us. Because she doesnt want the information to reach the wrong hands. She says that,making this prophecy true is our only hope." Catherine-" Arent prophecies supposed to be true?". Anna-" Not all. This prophecy can be true, it all depends on the moves we make. The wrong people shouldn't know about this, because they will try to change it." Michael-" So, the important part is that, none of us are ordinary humans. We all have a power which, has been sealed." Christina-" Why hasnt granny's powers been sealed then?". Anna-" Oh no. Granny isnt like you guys. She's a witch. Every witch who is powerful, at some point of time gets one reward from the gods. And grannys is the power to alter memories. You dont choose it, the power chooses you. Its always been like that. And the witches of the Mages bloodline are the first witches who obtained this sort of power. So they are meant to be the strongest." Michael-" The witches were all loyal to the Phoenix bloodline. Because they were the first magical creatures created by god, and also the strongest. But as one grows stronger, ones desire increases. They wanted to rule the whole world and have the other bloodlines surrender to them. Which is why there was a huge war and somehow, all the bloodlines together defeated the Phoenix. This made the witches really angry. Which is why after about a year or 2 ,after the huge war called -' The Battle of the Bloodlines ', the witches managed to seal all of the bloodlines powers inside the magical ruby. Then they attacked everyone and killed them all. That is what happened 8 years back." Anna-" But they werent happy with just that. They were afraid that there would have been some survivors, which is why, they dedided to kill all off the Mages, as they were the only ones who could break the seal. Mages were really strong. And all the witches together, slaughtered them one by one. Which is why me and my mom were on the run." Michael-" What they didnt know was that, there was one Phoenix who survived. And seems like, this Phoenix has come back. And also wants to break the seal and get his powers back. The witches seems to be helping him and, Annas mom has also joined him. Now they have found the Mages tomb where the spell to breaking this seal is kept. And soon enough within a day or 2 this seal will be broken. And i want you all to be mentally prepared when that happens. Because,  as soon as the seal is broken, all our powers will return." Anna-" And you guys will also come to know what bloodline you are the heir to. And once your powers return,all the witches will know of your existence and your life will be in danger." Michael-" our lives will never be the same after that."
