Reluctant Move

 As the sun beat down on the pavement signalling start of summer break 16 years old Maya packed her bag. She was leaving her luxurious lifestyle in the city of New York to a small town in Australia. Maya's parents decided it was time for her to experience another life and learn how to do things from her aunt.

 Maya was not thrilled about the idea. So she complained to her mom saying "Why do I have to go mum, I mean leaving my friends behind and my favorite mall". Her parents remained firm about their decision.

On her arrival Maya met her auntie and her kids ;Jake and Maria who were excited to show her around both home and school. Maya was introduced to her cousin School Phoenix high School where she would be attending summer with Jake and Maria she grumbled to herself and said great just what I wanted a good school full of dump kids.

It was night and everybody was at sleep apart from Maya, she was thinking how to settle in her bag her loads and everything were we are still packed together in one spot.

That night when they had dinner Maya didn't eat she said she can't eat veggies with can't rice and chops like dried meat, it was like "ill" to her. Then she decided to go sleep like in an empty stomach. Now in her room she tried to order a food when she checked her account she found out that her account has been frozen, so she shouted in anger "Hell no, I mean this is my dad handwork in fact I am calling my mum. What is this?" She dialed her mom's number quickly and so fast she picked saying,

"Hey, mom"

"Hi, baby sup"

" Please tell dad that whatsoever he did with my account was wrong that he should unfreeze my account please mum I'm starving I haven't eaten and this is past ten, I haven't eaten I'm not even sleeping am so hungry "

"Why have you not eaten and why are you not in bed by this time "

"Mom they ate veggies and rice, and you know I can't eat that it stinks, ill"

"Well your dad said that he don't want you to spend money like a cow"

"Mom dad to unfreeze my account I have to order food".

She went to the went to the kitchen to put the rice and the veggies and managed to eat it but for her, it tastes ill. She settled in her luggage and all that she placed her makeup in a right order her bags hanged up like 60 inches above the bed ; She was so happy that she was the only one in the room, and she didn't have to start waking up anybody or any child rolling here and there.

As Maya went to bed she took her diary and wrote in there my first day in auntie Richard's house was a disaster ;let's see how it goes
