Akihiro’s words hung in the air—cold, final, and trembling. You should leave.
But Hajun’s golden gaze sharpened, his jaw set with the same stubbornness that once led him to climb the tallest trees, daring anyone to stop him. In two strides, he closed the distance. Before Akihiro could retreat, a strong hand caught his wrist.
“Don’t run from us.”
“Hajun—!” Akihiro tried to pull away, but Hajun’s grip only tightened, dragging him forward. Haru was there in an instant, his gentler touch deceptive as he took the crate of roses from Akihiro’s arms and set it aside. But the look in Haru’s eyes was anything but soft—it was hunger restrained, obsession barely concealed.
Within moments, Akihiro was guided—no, claimed—between them, his protests smothered by the overpowering presence of two men who had waited far too long.
“Stop—what are you—” His voice cut short as Hajun pushed him toward the curb. A sleek black car, polished until it gleamed like midnight, stood waiting. The door was pulled open, and before Akihiro could resist, he was swept inside.
The leather seat was cool against his back, the scent of expensive cologne and new upholstery filling his senses. Hajun slid in beside him, closing the door with a decisive thud, while Haru entered from the other side, trapping him between them.
Akihiro’s heart pounded painfully, his chest rising and falling as he pressed against the seat. “Let me out,” he demanded, though his voice quivered. “This isn’t—”
Hajun leaned in, so close Akihiro could feel the heat of his breath against his ear. “Do you really want us to leave again? After twenty years?”
Akihiro’s lips parted, but no sound came out.
Haru’s hand found his chin, tilting it gently yet firmly, forcing Akihiro’s eyes to meet his. “We searched for you, Aki. Every day, every year… we dreamed of this moment.” His thumb brushed lightly over Akihiro’s scar, tracing it as though it were sacred. “And now that we have you again…” His voice dropped, husky with need. “We won’t let go.”
The car seemed to shrink, air thickening with the weight of their obsession.
Akihiro trembled, his body caught between fear and the traitorous warmth flooding his veins. Hajun’s hand slid down his arm, fingers intertwining with his, locking tight. Haru’s other hand slipped to his waist, pulling him closer until Akihiro was pinned between two burning flames of gold.
“Y-you’re both…” His words faltered, swallowed by Hajun’s sudden, possessive kiss.
The world spun. Hajun’s lips were hot, demanding, stealing the air from his lungs. Akihiro’s muffled protest melted into a shudder as teeth grazed his lower lip, leaving him breathless.
When Hajun finally pulled back, Haru claimed him next, gentler but no less consuming. The contrast tore through Akihiro—one kiss rough and desperate, the other coaxing and lingering. He was drowning, pulled under by the relentless tide of their desire.
Hajun’s voice was low, growling against his ear. “Twenty years, Aki. Do you have any idea what it did to us, wanting you every single day?”
Haru’s lips brushed against his scar again, reverent. “You’re ours. You always have been.”
Akihiro’s hands pressed weakly against their chests, but his strength faltered. The car windows fogged as the air grew heavy, filled with ragged breaths and the scent of roses still clinging to his clothes.
Pinned between two obsessions, Akihiro realized with a sinking heart and racing pulse—there was no escape.
The twins had returned not just for their promise, but to claim him completely.
